DO NOT USE— STOLEN DEPOSIT— we hired this business back in October 2022 after our meeting. They requested a $2000 deposit to hold the date. We paid this deposit and did not receive...
a “contract” for 5 months (we would ask every two weeks). The contract we received had the wrong dates, and was blank— with a $22,000 subtotal at the bottom (no price breakdown). We requested a detailed quote, met with them again. They then provided the exact same quote, with added items from our meeting with a note to “subtotal it ourselves”— which was near $35,000 (our discussed budget was 20-25 for reference). Our deposit was given one year before our event, we had zero understanding of what we were praying for or what our event would look like 3 months before our actual wedding date.
We ended up firing them 7 weeks out and going with a different decorator. They kept our deposit even though no services were provided. This is an unprofessional business that made the already stressful process much worse— you can find much better decorators in the area for the same price and better quality.
After our event, we were grateful we went with a different direction.

y. The transition between the ceremony and reception was done in a timely manner and the room looked great. Everyone at Dharma events was kind and easy to work with. We were very happy we went with them.

ption in August 2022! The meetings were very organized and each meeting was able to help us narrow down our choices and create the look we wanted. All of our decor consisted of exactly what we had planned out with Shaloo and was set up in a timely manner. We would recommend Dharma Events 100% if you are looking for someone to bring your vision to life. Thanks Shaloo and Dharma Events.
Dharma Events worked with us to provide beautiful decorations for our South Indian wedding event in May. The decor was lovely, classy, and extremely elegant! It provided a wonderfu...
l setting for our ceremony and everyone simply loved it! It was an amazing experience working with Shaloo right from the beginning. Shaloo was extremely professional and prompt throughout our interaction with her. She suggested several options for us to select from and that was very helpful. Her eagerness to ensure that we had a 'wow' experience is truly appreciated! The mandap and reception was amazing. Thankyou Shaloo and team for making our event very special and memorable.
Shaloo was so professional and has such an eye for details. She organized all the wedding venue decorations for my daughters wedding in MGM, she also liaised with the venue staff ...
to prepare for the day . Shaloo is much more than decorations, she is like a wedding planner , helping with planning making sure we didn’t over look anything. She is easy assessable for any questions or queries, always keeping us up to date with everything. I can’t recommend Shaloo any higher. She is 5 star ..
Highly recommend, Shaloo and the team were great and very helpful! They made our ceremony set up look STUNNING !
I would like to start off by saying the couch which was set up for our event was dirty, the dirt stains where very visable. Along with that we were not provided with the equipment ...
we reqested. Not only that, when I called the owner to reqest the extra stair case we had AGREED on, I got an extremely rude response. The customer service was just terrible. After alot of arguing, the owner finally agreed on giving us what we asked for with the price we had discussed. When the stair case arrived it was not functional nor did it look appropiate for our stage. We then had to situate ourselves and make it look more persentable. Over all I definetly would not recommend to anyone. Go where you can get your moneys worth.
It was great coordinating & talking with Shaloo, thanks a million for the wonderful services provided by them.

Co-owner Shaloo's decoration work for marriage was as per agreement, Nothing extra or special. However, throughout the decoration process and various emails and during payment time...
, the owner Shaloo kept cribbing that she has charged less than normal price for the work done and kept claiming that she has been doing big favor to us by giving low price.
She expected us to be indebted to her for all of our life, even though what she charged was not cheap. We paid around $6,000, and we had several other good vendor options. She was desperate for business and perhaps that's why she felt she is giving discount. We feel she just had normal pricing.
She also doesn't give any proper invoice for payments made. So not sure how she is reporting the income to govt. When asked for an invoice, she just wrote a memo in notepad and gave to us. So, caution that you may not have legal proof for work performed, and in case of business use, cannot show it as business expense.
