DG Visionaries

nd) suggested Derald Gray and DG Visionaries, as she had shot a wedding he DJ'd. Although we had never met or spoken in person until 2 hours before the ceremony, Derald did a fantastic job of communicating. His app made it easy for the bride and groom to share a sense of who they are and what music they enjoy. From prelude music to the ceremony to the reception itself - Derald shone. He seemed to have as much fun as the guests and was out on the dance floor entertaining us. The music was not overpowering during the dinner (as it can be at weddings), but a great backdrop to conversation and good food. Although our families are not big dancers, he kept the party going till the end. I highly recommend using Derald and DG Visionaries for your wedding or other event! Added bonus - he offered a 25% discount for a Thursday night wedding!

on New Year’s Eve, and hosted a reception that transitioned into a NYE party. We knew that in order to keep guests on the dance floor all night, an excellent DJ was going to be key. DG Visionaries did just this and more! We worked directly with Derald, who was extremely professional, easy-going, and accommodating with a handful of unique requests we had. His music selections covered a range of genres and help create different ambiances throughout the night, not to mention the top-level emcee capabilities to keep our reception agenda on track. In my opinion, a DJ will make or break a wedding, and for this reason, is one of the most important investments for your big day. Going with DG Visionaries may feel like a large financial cost, but I can 100% guarantee that Derald is worth the investment of his services.

ought exactly the kind of energy and vibe we wanted for our reception. And he did not disappoint. He kept the momentum and the fun going from the ceremony all the way to the last song of the night. We’ve had so many guests tell us how much fun our wedding was, and I truly credit so much of that to him. A huge THANK YOU to DJ Derald! He was an absolute pleasure to work with from day one, and made the whole process so easy. I will always recommend DG Visionaries, ESPECIALLY DJ Derald!

they loved him as our DJ and how he made the reception the best one they have ever been to! As a married couple, my wife and I had the best experience! He was so accommodating, easy to work with, and brought a presence that single-handedly kept the energy of our wedding so high that we never left the dance floor! Because of him, our reception is one we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and let me save you some trouble, this is ABSOLUTELY the DJ you should go with, and it's not even close!!

nd true class to our daughter’s wedding celebration. I’ve not seen a dance floor that packed or enthusiastic from start to finish and trust me, the finish only came because of our contracted end time. The party could have continued all night with Derald at the helm. DG Visionaries was also on our venue’s preferred vendor list with good reason. They created lasting, magical memories we’ll treasure forever!

of the guess work in putting together a perfect wedding playlist. We have all been to a wedding where the DJ’s music selection left the dance floor empty. Not Derald. Our guests wouldn’t leave the dance floor! We are so so so thrilled with the result. Don’t waste your time searching for other DJ’s. Call Derald and get him booked! Our only complaint is that the night had to end! Derald also has a day of wedding coordinator, Cecilia, who we hired as part of our package. Cecilia is also AMAZING! Putting trust into someone you only meet through a phone call or two is hard. Cecilia went above and beyond, even travelled to meet us for an additional walk through at our venue. The day went flawlessly, all thanks to her hard work. Hiring Cecilia is also an absolute must!

end!

d did an exceptional job at our celebration. Countless guests commented on how he brought incredible energy to the event. What stood out to me the most was his ability to read the room—whenever the energy started to dip, he would jump in, start dancing, and get everyone back on the dance floor having an amazing time. If you’re planning a wedding or any event that needs a DJ, stop your search now and book DG Visionaries. Derald was instrumental in making our night unforgettable, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about his clients. We couldn’t recommend him more!

. I would suggest him to anyone!!

he very first conversation I had with Derald, I was sold. He listened to exactly what I wanted (someone who could mix songs, keep the party hype, be proficient in both DJ and MC responsibilities, and incorporate some fun extras in addition to music) and lived up to the promise that he could deliver all of this and more. We had multiple planned conversations with Derald ahead of the wedding, and he was also very timely in responding to any questions via email, text, or through his wedding portal. We really appreciated the extensive spreadsheet he had us fill out that spelled out exactly what we wanted and the flow of the day. During the wedding he came out on the dance floor a few times to show us some sick moves (which he asked ahead of time if we were okay with!) and was super personable with our wedding party (making sure he knew exactly how to pronounce their names for the introductions) and others (my parents told me later he went over and introduced himself, which he totally didn't have to do and was such a nice little extra touch of care). We could go on and on but I think you get it... run, don't walk, to book Derald and DG Visionaries for your wedding! (My husband added: 1000/1000 would recommend; we won't be getting married again but hope to see him at other weddings!)

u create the night you want and he makes it come to life.

gagement. He was very patient and flexible if I had changes throughout the planning process, he ensured our vision played out down to the second and tailored our reception music to fit us and our music taste PERFECTLY. I don’t think I left the dance floor most of night 😂 because EVERY song was “my jam”. He joins in on the dance floor with the best moves to keep the party going! I got so many comments from my guest about how great my DJ was and that they were so sore from dancing all night. I cannot say enough great things about our experience! Look no further, you found your DJ.

you won’t be disappointed!

ndor we booked, quickly answering questions and getting back to us, making the planning process so stress-free. He's extremely well-organized and cares about your playlist, your vibe, and every minor detail. But the biggest and most important thing Derald brings: THE ENERGY. Derald makes your wedding feel like the most important event in the world. We received so many compliments on our DJ and we knew Derald would deliver from the start. Derald brings the energy, the excitement, the sick dance moves, and the overall positive energy. I promise you: Your dance floor will NEVER be empty if you have DJ Derald behind the booth. We gave Derald such a specific playlist to play and he delivered. Literally my husband and I never left the dance floor, because every song was our favorite, thanks to DJ Derald. I could go on forever about DG Visionaries work, but just see for yourself. Book Derald now, because his popularity will only soar as he continues to DJ more and more successful weddings. We love DJ DG so much! Thank you for being the most perfect soundtrack to our most perfect day. If I could give a 5000/5 stars, I would. Also check out their other services! The DG Love Line was a HUGE hit and we can't wait to listen to all of our audio guestbook messages.

ionally fun and run smoothly. I would highly recommend him to any couple getting married!

role as MC and coordinator as well! He timed songs perfectly for each transition ! He’s a very pleasant person and just overall a good man! He engages the guests and made the entire event a huge success!

t energy levels high and truly felt like family by the end of the evening. He is a must hire and you are missing out if you go with another Dj!

eer, and all the DJ's I have worked with, these gentlemen were by far the BEST and MOST FUN!

floor! We had the best time and we would recommend Derald over and over again. Thanks Derald!!

th and all the guests loved how he would join in and dance with the crowd. Derald is very professional/experienced and was very easy to work with. We just filled out a form, had a quick meeting with him two weeks before the wedding and he was good to go. It was truly a beautiful day, and I am so grateful to Derald for the amazing experience he provided.

knew I he had to be the DJ at my daughter's wedding. He not only puts together the perfect personalized playlist, he actually gets out there and dances with everyone. I can't recommend him enough.

everyone had thanks to Derald! He wasn't our original DJ, but boy was he the perfect one! I highly recommend if you're looking to keep people happy and dancing all night long!

r an unforgettable celebration. Thank you for going above and beyond, Derald!

for someone to keep the party going all night! We can’t thank you enough!!

ld have never expected! DG is well organized, detail oriented, very respectful and courteous to make sure the day turns out exactly as we (the bride and groom) wanted it to be. I highly recommend DG for any wedding reception or other event!

tra mile to make sure that you are 100% happy with his services. They truly were my best decision I made for my wedding (other than my husband lol)!! Would 1000% recommend for any service you have coming up!!!

floor with us and made everyone seem welcome to just get out there on the floor and have some fun dancing!

on a dry wedding, which I think for anyone who chooses this route you have natural concern about your guests being entertained… that was not the case here. After Derald and I’s first and only planning meeting my mind was put even more at ease about our decisions to work with him. He took every idea I had about how the day would go and made it come to life and as smooth as possible- he was open to suggestion but also had great feedback to provide to make it all come together well. My family and friends are huge music lovers so going into it we knew this was a priority. Most of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved him, from communication about the day to getting on the dance floor with all of our friends and family throughout the night, he was TRULY the best. Thank you Derald again for playing such an important part of our day. I wish we could do it all over again!

to our reception and we had a great night thanks to them!

r wedding was all we could have hoped and dreamed it would be, a large part thanks to Derald. 1,000,000/10 would recommend. If you're lookng for an average DJ, keep looking because Derald is anything BUT average. Thanks so much for making our wedding dreams come true, Derald!

ld's charisma and engagement with our guests were remarkable, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. We're so grateful for making our wedding day perfect!

ways available to answer any questions we had. Planning a wedding can be really stressful, but Derald's software system is extremely user friendly and helps keep you organized. In terms of the execution of the big day, I mean just look at these photos!!!! Derald brings the life of the party and got EVERYONE out on the dance floor, and when I say everyone, I mean even my 80 year old grandparents were spinning around. He was one of my favorite parts of the wedding and I definitely would have had regrets had we not booked him. His personality, work ethic, and organization made a perfect combination for a beautiful day. We can't say thank you enough!!! Love, Corinne & Andrew

t. The energy and fun Derald brought to the dance floor made for an unforgettable night. We had so many guests ask where we found him and asked for his information. Any event with DG Visionaries will be a fun time!! I would give 6 or 7 stars if I could!

e comfortable enough to get on the dance floor and engaged with all of our guests! The number one question I get now that our wedding is over is “who was your DJ?! He was amazing” and I couldn’t agree more! I’ve passed on Derald’s name to MANY people and will continue to do so for anyone else who’s looking for a DJ. Thank you, Derald, for making our wedding so special and memorable!❤️

nctual and truly was the life of the party!

ring eating the cost to cancel so they can go with DG Visionaries. We did the package that included DJ Derald and Videography by Johntre. Both Derald and Johntre were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

out his worksheet for our order of events and music preferences. Day-of , he did music and MCing for both our ceremony and reception. These events were held at two different locations, and he handled setup/takedown seamlessly. His announcements were also perfect! Then for the music and partying, he was so fun and engaged with our guests that we had some people ask if we knew him personally, because he was so engaged and dancing right along with the crowd! He played all the songs we had specifically requested, and then the rest of the playlist were perfect additions. Really can't say enough great things about our experience! Thanks so much!

edgeable with our plans, timeline and details. He really worked to make sure that he knew how to best make our night flow. Halfway through the planning process we included video as a part of our package with him. This was by far the BEST decision! Derald waltzed in the door bright eyed and bushy tailed the morning of our wedding. While getting his set up all in order, he was spinning some bops and bangers while our bridal party was taking pictures. It kept the energy for photos ALIVE! He captured every special moment throughout the day for us and now we can watch back our special day. He surprised us with Freemind Event Painting at our reception which was by far the most heartfelt and special gift we received! As if defying gravity, Derald turned up the energy level every hour of our reception. His talent and energy was all our guests could talk about and still talk about! He sets the bar for what you should expect out of a DJ. Electric. Fun. Great Moves. We had a hall full of dancers and Derald just matched the energy of our guest and we got to enjoy him being on the dancefloor challenging people and getting everyone hype! He took INCREDIBLE care of us throughout the night and was patient with our queues. He mixed one banger right after the other and was right out on the dance floor with everyone! The most special part of having him be a part of our vendor team, is that he felt like family the entire planning process, wedding, reception and even came to our morning after brunch the next day! Derald is the person you want and NEED at your event. Nothing but love and support from us!

were important to us and kept the party going. I love how he was able to mix songs on the spot and really worked with our crowd's energy. As an entertainer he was top tier. He was dancing along, getting everyone hyped up, and our guests couldn't stop talking about him!!! As an emcee he did absolutely everything perfectly. He took the time to make sure he was prepared for the day and executed it in perfect detail. We also utilized his photobooth option and it was SO fun! Our guests loved it and loved that it was easy to operate. Plus they could text the pics, gifs, and videos straight to their phones and we got a copy of everything a few days after!!! If you want your wedding to be the best party ever then Derald is the way to go!

ht. From the beginning of our planning process to the final song at the reception, Derald was a joy to work with. During our planning calls, he was so genuine and sincerely cared about our story and thoughts on the reception. His platform is very easy to work through and Derald executed to perfection!

We planned our wedding remotely and Derald’s systems and communication were highly effective. From entering information in our online portal to video calls, Derald was prompt and informative the entire way and even provided us helpful recommendations. There are a lot of important wedding decisions to be made during the planning process, but booking Derlad as your DJ should be the easiest decision of them all! Thank you Derald for making our evening so special and keeping the party alive! You’re the best.

friendly. Definitely recommend!!!

ts feel welcomed and excited to be there. He can easily get the whole venue dancing and celebrating. If you need a DJ who can do it all and make your wedding day perfect we highly recommend DG Visionaries!
