Devlin Photography

red to take a few photos ourselves. He happened to be there on another shoot and when he heard our dilemma he offered to photograph our ceremony and do family photos. We couldn't have been happier! They came out wonderful. We then asked him to photograph our larger ceremony and wedding reception at Saint Clements Castle the following year. It also went great. It was his gracious offer to photograph us right there on the spot that made us knew he would be wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Devlin Photography as they do anything they can for their clients!

hris respond to ALL my questions from the beginning but he even went out of the way to help me find a second photographer and a videographer for me at such a reasonable price. The day of the wedding, Chris and his team were on time and extremely pleasant and happy to work with!! They honestly felt like they were part of the family. The amount of times Chris went out of the way to get a perfect shot could not even be counted on both hands haha! I truly feel like Chris made an uncomfortable moment or moments tolerable (I hate having my photo take LOL) ! If you are looking for amazing photos that you didn’t expect to be done then Chris is your guy! I couldn’t be happier about the service, how responsive he was and the prices we got for everything with Devlin photography! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Chris truly captured such special moments during our engagement shoot and wedding. I would recommend Chris to any one. Thanks again to Chris and his team! Shaunna & Josh

someone to take your special life moments and transform them into beautiful keepsakes, I recommend Devlin Photography!

ured how we wanted to share our day with family and friends. We highly recommend Devlin Photography for any special occasion.

an tell that some people really have the eye for photography and see things that others don't. He always found the perfect background, seemingly out of nowhere time and again. Stunning pictures, and pleasure to work with - can't recommend enough!

ured a memorial rose and sentimental bracelet that we forgot to mention to him. You can't teach that. He was personable and seemed to know what we wanted before we did. What else can you ask for in a wedding photographer? A true pro.

o work with & we’re thrilled with the service he provided

e day of our wedding, and made myself and my family feel comfortable in front of the camera. The pictures are absolutely stunning! He also took family portraits for my family last summer and that experience was also flawless!

recommend! We were also pleasantly surprised by their quick turnaround! Within a day or two of the wedding we had some pictures to share with family and friends. Then Chris created a beautiful slideshow and finally the rest of the beautiful pictures. It was really nice to get sneak peaks while he edited all of the pictures. If you’re considering Devlin photography, go for it!

endor decisions and led us straight to our perfect match. With the research we had done, we enjoyed that Devlin Photography seemed not to be about all of the bells and whistles that companies sometimes advertise. Instead, Chris is the main photographer and also the person who answered the phone and all of our questions. He met us with our dog for a cozy cup of coffee in town, and we felt at ease right away. This is the same feeling he exuded on our wedding day. With a calm and even presence about him, he completely blended into the buzzing house that morning and everything to follow, capturing the coolest moments. He worked with a second photographer throughout the day, who was excellent as well. It was important to us to spend more time with our guests than separately taking photographs; he helped us to achieve this while still ending up with a host of gorgeous pictures from which to choose. Hire Chris Devlin and you won’t be disappointed!

pictures we took. The pictures turned out amazing!! He’s wonderful to work with and so is the other photographer they had for our wedding!

tos and highly recommend Chris for your event as well.

ire process! Day of, our two photographers arrived on time and adhered to our tight schedule! I was really impressed with how efficient our photographers were and how they got all of our family photos done before our ceremony (which was something very important to us!)! I received my photos pretty quickly and I cannot stop looking through them—they came out beautifully! I highly recommend booking Devlin Photography for your wedding photos!!!!

ot and our wedding with Chris as our photographer, and he made everything fun and laid back while getting great shots. When we ran into weather issues, Chris was nothing but positive, encouraging, and upbeat. He even took the time to call me a few times prior to the wedding day to check on me and make sure I was okay as the forecast took a turn for the worse. He turned terrible weather into an unforgettable experience and gorgeous pictures. My guests are raving about the pictures and my bridal party still talks about him and how fun he was! I can't thank Chris and his team enough for everything they did for us!

k our engagement photos and was very flexible, accommodating, and enthusiastic with all of our creative ideas. Chris was very encouraging when we had to change our plans due to COVID-19 and really made our dream wedding photos come to life. He photographed our catholic wedding mass beautifully, capturing all of the important significant parts we were hoping for. We love our pictures so much and just keep looking at them over and over. We want to print everyone and hang them all in our house. He is very reasonably priced and his professionalism and quality can't be beat!

as always early, ready to go and so easy to work with. He caught some beautiful candid moments. He was super creative when we were taking formal pictures and all his pictures were 10/10. You can’t go wrong with him!

e will continue to use Devlin photography for all over our upcoming events!

I to choose the best photographer for our wedding! Chris Devlin was hands down THE BEST! My husband and I are shy and awkward, but Chris did an amazing job at helping us to feel comfortable in front of the camera! Me and bridesmaids were laughing the entire time that he was photographing us getting ready, which really helped with my pre-wedding nerves! We already got a sneak peak at some of the photos and I am beyond excited! I highly recommend Devlin Photography to anyone looking to truly capture the happiest day of their life!

brought a 2nd photographer!! 10/10!

went out on his advise and could not be more pleased . Would definitely recommend his services

oto’s show it! He spent the entire day with us, starting with the last minute preparations, the girls getting ready, then the boys (in the wine cellar), the stunning “first look” photos were exceptional; followed of course by the ceremony (we had to have two, one private and one for the guests); then the exceptional reception – followed by the late night festivities - Chris captured them all! His energy, creativity and suggestions were amazing! There are so many great shots from this wedding we cannot possibly narrow them down to the best! Our venue was a challenge; a private home on a very sloping lot with views of the CT River. Cocktail reception on the main level while the guests arrived, followed by the ceremony on the mid-level (some of the best shots where from Chris on the roof for a unique perspective!) followed by a third level up the hill for the super fun reception and evening fun. Every aspect was photographed with a beautiful eye to perfection. We made a great decision when hiring Chris and encourage you to do the same!

d! He even prepared a video for everyone to enjoy watching at the reception back home! His experience is top notch and the unique photo opportunities and timing of example, the perfect sunset shots, is inspiring! Highly recommend him for not only weddings but your future baby's pictures and yes, it happens fast, their senior portraits as well! Thanks for the memories, Chris, truly the best!!!

I had and helping to figure out the timeline. He also made sure everything ran smoothly and efficiently on the day of the wedding, while reminding me to enjoy myself. My husband also can't stop talking about the second photographer, Eric, and what a great time the boys had with him. As far as the pictures go, they are all beautiful. Within less than 24 hours after the wedding, Chris posted several beautiful pictures from the wedding, and then 2 weeks later I got the rest of them. Everything was super efficient, and I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. I am beyond grateful that we had Chris and Eric there to capture the memories that we will cherish forever.

photo session and loved how the pictures turned out. Chris is responsive and helpful to make sure the pictures looked exactly how we wanted them. We can't wait to see our wedding photos because we know they will be perfect.

our photos and we’re so happy with the results!

the wedding day to plan out the timeline of our day and brainstorm ideas. He also did a walk around at our venue ahead of time to scope out best places for pictures to be taken. Chris even called us a few days before the wedding to confirm his arrival time and wish us luck! I highly recommend this photographer if you want stunning and one of a kind photos! His ideas are brilliant!!!

s were everything we wanted and more. From his affordable prices, punctuality, and his easy going nature, he’s the right man for the job. We did photos on our wedding day in a somewhat atypical fashion and he was nothing but helpful and easy to work with in return. With his help we got to actually enjoy our wedding! He will be our go to guy for future photography needs!

have as a couple to date. His creativity and ability to capture the moment is simply unmatched. I cannot wait to see what magic he has in store for our wedding!

and angles to capture our memories. He put us at ease, guided us, and helped to make our special day extra special. Afterwards, when we got the photos back, they were fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more. It was a wonderful experience, and we have the pictures to remember it forever!

want for your photographer on your wedding day; very punctual, very calm, great sense of humor, knew how/where to get the best photos, great with other vendors, super accommodating to our schedule and delivered a quick turn around with pictures! From our first meeting we knew he was the right fit and booked him and his second photographer Erik.  Chris and Erik were constantly taking photos even when we weren’t posing for them. They were visible, yet invisible, we couldn’t believe how many beautiful pictures they captured!  Chris delivered a “sneak peek” of photos the next day on Facebook to share, and shortly thereafter a slideshow and gallery, and finally we will be receiving the digital copy of the pictures soon!  We are so impressed with how beautiful our pictures came out. Overall we were extremely pleased with Chris.  He truly made our wedding day special and ensured that we will have those memories for many years to come.

get the best photos. His dedication and passion for photography revealed itself in the prep work he did to scope out the area around our ceremony to ensure memorable photos and to make the best use of our time on the day of the wedding. He was easy to work with from start to finish with a relative quick turn-around to deliver initial photos on Facebook, a slideshow soon after, watermarked digital photos to share with friends and family on his website, and finally the digital copy of the photos within two months after our wedding. He deserves our highest recommendations.

and I made!

the phone, I knew he was the right fit. Not only is he talented and creative, he is also is super detail oriented, loves to be prepared, laid back but will go to the end of the earth to get you want, has great sense of humor, and is a constant professional. We actually booked him after meeting him for the first time. We really loved his work ethics and his dedication to his work. He and Erik came out to New Haven 6 months before the wedding to scope out potential places on Yale campus to shoot pictures. This was back in March, when Chris still recovering post ankle surgery and was on crutches, but he didn't want to postpone the trip and we walked close to an hour around Yale Campus. Talk about dedication! (Of course, his ankle is now completely healed.) While many of the other photographers that we had initially looked into had a 8 hour time limit for the day, Chris and Erik were with us for the whole entire day. Chris started the day taking pictures of me and my girls getting ready, of the dresses, and all the little details. Erik went off with my husband and his groomsmen for their photos. The two were constantly taking pictures even when we weren't posing for them. They were there documenting the day's big events and the little details. We gotten first look pictures, portraits of just us, with the bridal party, with family and friends, of the ceremony, of us partying and having fun with our guests at the reception. They didn't miss a thing! We also gotten some very cool unique pictures with fisheye lens that Erik was off shooting with, while Chris where taking the same shots with regular lens. Chris is also super timely with his work! He sent us a few select pictures the next day after the wedding so we can share on social media and completed the slide show and had a picture gallery online ready 4 weeks after the wedding. Our family can't stop praising him how fast he is and how beautiful the pictures are! Chris has tons of experience and works well with other vendors. He actually gave us recommendations for our DJ, who we loved as well. It definitely helpful that I ran our day's timeline with Chris beforehand and estimated how much time things were going to take when we did our walk through months prior. Everything was smooth sailing. We gotten to enjoy our day and now have lots of beautiful pictures for a lifetime. I can't emphasize enough how vital Chris was on our wedding day. There is no better photographer to work with and you can not be in better hands than with Chris!

astic moments that we will treasure forever! I highly recommend Chris!

that was incredible, which really made us excited and less anxious about how the wedding day pictures would come out. Every wedding picture we got from Chris was stunning, we couldn’t be happier!

the local venues and knows where to scout out the perfect photo! He also makes sure there are plenty of candid photos as well to go along with the traditional shots (there were many times looking at the photos where I was like--he caught that?! I didn't even notice he was there). As a past bridesmaid, I know how awful some photo sessions can be with some temperamental photographers--but Chris was always fun and kept everyone happy and on time. We are simply thrilled with how the photos turned out and how the day ran (and so is everyone else in my family and friends group)!! You can't go wrong when you hire Chris since you know you'll get the best photos every time!

Chris was extremely accommodating and helpful in arranging both our engagement and wedding pictures. He suggested a perfect location for our engagement shoot. My wife and I were laid back in our approach to the photos and didn't have too many special requests for our wedding. We trusted Chris and the results were amazing. He captured every moment of our wedding day without us, for the most part, realizing he was there. One of the best aspects was Chris' availability. There was no time limit that we had to adhere to, Chris had blocked off the entire day for us. This meant showing up early to capture the bride and her sisters getting ready all the way up until the send off post the reception. During this time Chris was constantly taking pictures of us, our guests, the setup and the venues. He was especially easy to work with when it came to taking posed photos. His casual approach allowed us to be relaxed and he conveyed instructions in an easy to follow manner. Chris fit into our schedule and not the other way around. He was able to take all the shots we wanted while still allowing us the time to enjoy our cocktail hour. Chris was also very responsive to any questions or special requests that we made. His speed with getting us some photos within 2 days was great as we were dying to see some of the images. The slideshow that he created is something that I could watch on loop endlessly! Overall we could not have asked for a better experience with Chris and he truly made our wedding day special and ensured that we will have those memories for many years to come.

impressed he took the time to actually go to the aquarium before the wedding and check out his options for shots. He made the photography portion of the wedding stress free, and from what I've seen so far, did a great job. You won't be disappointed with Chris! THANK YOU AGAIN!

om our very first meeting where he calmed a "slightly stressed out" bride ;) to the day of where every suggestion he made was spot on! We gave him the freedom to take whatever shots he felt would turn out amazing and he did not disappoint! We have an album 100% full of extraordinary photos and we are forever thankful. Choosing Chris Devlin as our wedding photographer was hands down the right move!

e for us as he guided every step of the way. We bought the album also and it was absolutely gorgeous!

s. We highly recommend Devlin Photography to photograph your wedding.

ndly and outgoing attitude and large assortment of photos in the albums and brochures he brought to show us, convinced us right away that he would do an exceptional job on the biggest day of our lives and we were right! He even worked with our dog, Tyson (our baby) and we are now able to always look back and see him in our gorgeous photos because of him. We would highly reccomend Chris for anyone looking to book engagement/wedding photographers! He is responsive, creative and gets the job done. Thank you Chris!
