About this vendor
I'm a professional, award-winning violinist and composer with tons of wedding experience. Whether you wish for elegant classical music, toe-tapping fiddle tunes, or a favorite popular song, I can help you find that perfect sound! I offer high-end wedding sound at an affordable price. The instrument on which I perform is a gorgeous sounding violin made by MacArthur "genius" grant winner, Joseph Curtin. For outdoor weddings I use a Fishman SA330X Performance Audio System which provides terrific amplification without sacrificing the purity of acoustic violin. As my reviews attest, my solo violin playing can rival any string quartet at a fraction of the cost. If you would like to add some extra flair to your ceremony music, I have many professional musician friends with whom I often collaborate (strings, piano, organ, guitar, trumpet) Send me an e-mail and I'd be happy to send you some demos based on your musical preferences.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Devin! He was absolutely incredible and made our wedding ceremony so much more beautiful and special. 🤍
From the very beginning, he was ...
so helpful in choosing songs that fit the vibe of our wedding perfectly. He was extremely responsive, communicative, and easy to work with throughout the entire process, which made planning our ceremony that much easier.
And the music itself was BEAUTIFUL! We had so many guests come up to us throughout the wedding and afterward to specifically tell us how amazing the violinist was and how beautiful the ceremony music sounded. Hearing so many of our guests comment on it really confirmed just how special his music made the ceremony feel.
He was professional, talented, kind, and such an important part of our wedding day. We are so grateful that we chose him to be there with us for such an important moment in our lives. We truly could not have asked for anyone better!

g and excellent with helping me select songs for all parts of the ceremony. He was also very generous that he even played our first dance song even if it meant sticking around longer. The song was so beautiful that I sobbed. I was happy to have someone so professional take part in our wedding. He knew exactly what needed to be done and it was one less area I had to worry about.

aking photos at the time, our guests raved about him. A few weeks before our wedding, we met with him at his home to go over the music we wanted him to play. As my wife and I are non-musicians, he was extremely helpful in helping us select what would work timing-wise for our ceremony. He took several requests and also had suggestions for fun cocktail hour music. If you're on the fence about having a musician, trust me and book Devin. He will really make your day special.

ly what we wanted. Devin also played at our reception and asked our guests if they wanted to hear something specific. My Austrian side of the family asked him to play "Edelweiss," which he promptly began to play. I can not rate this musician high enough. He also played the music for our first dance, which he learned, recorded at different speeds, added bars to the recording, and again, went out of his way to deliver the greatest day of our lives. I highly recommend Devin, and if I ever need a violinist/fiddler again, Devin is the only person I am going to call.
As far as professionalism goes, Devin arrived early, and had everything that he needed. He also gave us options for what effects we wanted to come from the speaker. He was quick to respond to emails and we never had any problems getting in touch with him. This musician is a real professional.

He worked so well with my church’s music director and figured out times they could practice together. All in all, Devin was kind, helpful, easy-going, relaxed, SO talented and truly made the music aspect of the wedding such a treat. I highly, highly recommend him.

He made the somewhat overwhelming task of choosing music much easier- he really took time to understand my taste, provide recommendations, and worked with me to develop the overall music selections for the whole wedding. Devin's beautiful violin music is still one of the first things people mention to me when talking about my wedding!

for the bride’s walk and asked for our input. He came to the rehearsal so we knew exactly how to time the song. He played beautifully at the wedding and then provided an entertaining and fun cocktail hour. Afterwards all our guests wanted to know who he was. We cannot recommend him enough.
Devin played the violin at our wedding on May 12, 2018. My husband immigrated from India and we wanted our wedding to be a fusion of Indian and American culture. Devin played an or...
iginal piece for us at our consult and my husband instantly broke out into smiles because it reminded him of his childhood. We picked that piece to be played right before my processional and we got lots of compliments on it.
How we found Devin: In addition to teaching students and playing at weddings, Devin also volunteers his services at nursing homes and at places of worship. We heard him play at a church we visited and we knew he would be a lovely addition to our wedding. He did not disappoint!
Working with Devin: Devin provided us with a sample CD and after we listened to it he met with us to discuss details of the day. He had suggestions for which pieces would be best to play at different parts of the program, and he had creative ideas on how to make the recessional especially dramatic. He worked very well with our organist.
Devin did a fantastic job on the day of and I definitely recommend him for your wedding!
