Detroit DJ Entertainment

ofessional, I'm sad I didn't get to meet them in person. Thank you guys for treating my wedding like it was yours.

energy. He truly set the tone for all our guests to have a fun and positive experience. His music choices ensured there was never an empty dance floor. He improvised perfectly to organize and modify our schedule as needed to meet the needs of the party. The Photo Booth was also so much fun and a highlight for our guests. Amazing work by Detroit DJ. He cannot recommend them enough to make your event perfect.

ed all expectations!

dding and I was right! Nothing by rave reviews about the DJ and he kept the dance floor packed all night. He had EVERYONE out there nieces, uncles and grandma and grandpa. Hire Detroit DJs you will not be disappointed :)

tely no critiques. They were professional, cordial, and knowledgable. The party was perfect and all of our guests gave us compliments.

ast minute changes and did not hesitate to show some hustles to newbies. Awesome night!

y going and our guest loved it. The company was very responsive and professional when it came to any questions or concerns. We booked them as well for other services including photobooth where the picture quality was top tier, lighting, fireworks and dancing on a cloud which was beautiful! All services that were provided were phenomenal and they even assist in building a package for your needs! Thank you all again!

to DJ services, I also rented their sound system, staging, uplighting and photo booth. The booking process was seamless. I also enjoyed the consultation call before my wedding that helped my confirm all the details of my day. During my wedding, the dance floor was always full. I would never have an event without booking Detroit DJ Entertainment!

ption. For our guests they provided great entertainment; a few comments from guests: "best playlist, fun wedding, party was off the chain." For us they provided reassurance and peace of mind that comes from working with a professional business. DJ Chuck, leader and CEO of Detroit DJ Entertainment, is a great human with awesome people skills. Communicating with Nik and DJ Chuck was easy, efficient, and their responses were timely. Especially; helpful were the due date reminder emails about meetings, conference calls, event forms (timeline and day of event worksheet.) During our conference call to review the forms DJ Chuck listened to our ideas, answered questions, made suggestions and provided helpful feedback about the music we selected. On our wedding day the music and DJ comments were perfect! We are thankful DJ Chuck and Detroit DJ Entertainment were part of our June 1, 2024 wedding ceremony and reception. Their magic DEFINITELY made our wedding celebration a night to remember! We highly recommend Detroit DJ Entertainment, for your wedding and other entertainment needs; very well worth the investment. Connect with Detroit DJ Entertainment...you will be happy you did! Maddy & Marvin

until the last dance at my wedding ! He was great to work with he kept us on the dance floor the entire night! All of my guest raved about him as a Dj and how he kept the crowd involved and made sure the music catered to each guest! He was awesome and I would pick him as our Dj anytime ! Thank you so much for being such a huge part of our day! The Petty’s 🖤

n, Chuck and Nik were responsive throughout the planning process. Thanks to all!

as i hadnt heard anything from them. There was an upcharge for a second sound system because our ceremony was outside and I was told the two systems would allow for seamless flow of music from ceremony into reception without having to tear down, move, and reset one system. I was assured both systems would be ready to go at least 15 minutes before our ceremony started and everything would flow seamlessly. We booked DJ and photobooth for 6 hours. That plus the extra sound system came out to just over $2200. The day before our wedding I got a call that the photobooth package we booked "might be unavailable" (?) So they wanted to know if we were OK with a free upgrade to a 360 video booth instead. I was assured there'd be someone there to operate it as we're not the most tech-savy bunch, and confirmed the song we wanted the videos set to via text with their event coordinator the night before. The day of our wedding the DJ was the last person to arrive, less than 15 minutes before our ceremony was scheduled to begin. He quickly got set up for the ceremony, props to him for that, but was clearly frazzled and missed a few song transitions during the ceremony. I'm not sure how long it took him to get set up inside after the ceremony as we were doing family photos outside, but when we came inside the 360 photo booth was not assembled yet. When that went up it became evident that the poor DJ was on his own, and he struggled to bounce back and forth between the music and helping guests operate the rotating photo camera. One of the groomsmen had to nudge him into the speeches to keep everything moving. He was clearly flustered for most of the night and had some rough song transitions because of it. It wasn't until about an hour before the end of the reception that someone else showed up, and that person did very little except stand next to him chatting. The night came to an end and it was nearly a month later when I finally reached out to them inquiring about the videos from the booth. I was then sent 38 video file, all set to the wrong song, which apparently can't be fixed after the fact. I inquired about additional files ( we had over 100 guests and the machine was in use all night) and was told that's all that had come through. Operator error, probably, but also exactly what I feared would happen and why I wanted someone there to assist with the booth. All in all I think our event was either forgotten about until the last minute, or overbooked by a higher profile event. It felt like we got the short end of the stick and nothing was done to make up for that. I would not recommend.

reworks were for our first dance, and they made it unforgettable. Our guests could not stop talking about it, and I find myself reminiscing about it all the time. They made our wedding truly special. I highly recommend Detroit DJ Entertainment for your wedding - you won’t regret it! I can see myself hiring them again for another event in the future.

everything was such a smooth process. Their website makes it so easy to relay all the information the DJ needs for the wedding to ensure everything runs exactly how you would like it to. They have a planning form for your wedding as well as a timeline in which you can make changes to as you progress with the wedding process. Now to the day of the wedding. Chuck was prompt and on time. He had everything set up and ready to go as well as was willing to work on an alternative plan in case the weather did not cooperative for our outdoor ceremony. He made sure to check in multiple times throughout the night with the bride and groom to make sure he was doing everything he needed to and was on the same page with us which was very nice. Chuck was a phenomenal DJ. He interacted with the crowd, did a few ice breakers, and really made everyone feel very comfortable throughout the wedding. Our wedding venue was a little different being that we had and indoor venue that opened up via garage doors to a large outdoor patio. Later in the evening the doors were open and most of the guests were outside. Chuck did an amazing job playing music that everyone outside would enjoy. Later on in the night as everyone came back inside he transitioned to more upbeat dance music, which is was we wanted and everyone had a blast. I received so many compliments on chuck throughout the night for the music he played and just his overall character. If you are looking for a DJ that isn’t just a “sit behind the booth and play music” kind of DJ then I definitely recommend chuck and Detroit DJ Entertainment. He will have your guests feeling involved all while making sure the wedding is going exactly how you want it to. Thank you again Chuck. You helped make our wedding amazing and I can not ever thank you enough!! -Kyle

like up-lighting and the smoke effect at affordable prices. He keep the crowd engaged. He played the requested music and his energy was on point. Don’t hesitate to hire this DJ & company.

as extremely professional and easy to work with. He’s the best MC in town. He kept the party going and we had a blast! We used a variety of their services including the Photo Booth, the fog machine, and indoor fireworks!! It was perfect!! They gave us a night we’ll never forget! We received sooo many amazing compliments from all of our guests! Everyone loved it and was thoroughly entertained! Detroit DJ Entertainment will always get my HIGHEST recommendation!

s of the decade!" Our reception was not just a simple party, but a production thanks to DJ Chuck. The music, indoor fireworks, uplighting, monogram, and dry ice (dancing on the cloud) made our day more special, fun, & memorable than we could have ever dreamed of. DJ Chuck and his wonderful wife were very professional, timely, friendly, personable, accommodating, flexible, and engaging. Plus they are April babies just like us which was the icing on the cake! Their website was extremely organized which made it helpful for creating a music set list for certain moments during our special day. They say the DJ is who makes the event, and we can undoubtedly say that DJ Chuck had our wedding reception LIT & an event to always remember!

have made! From the initial meeting Chuck was extremely professional and very detail oriented, he really thinks of every possible song you need for your reception(and some you didn't even know you needed lol). On the day of the wedding I was absolutely blown away with how perfect everything was, just tons of energy and so much fun, he truly made the reception memorable. I would highly recommend using Detroit DJ Entertainment You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you For such a great experience, you are the only DJ we will use!! The Smiths

followed as requested. My husband and I was very impressed on how the DJ kept the guests engaged, that was more than I expected. I was given many compliments from my guests on how such an awesome job the DJ did, and I must agree. Just "AWESOME".

e we were ready for the next "special moment" before automatically jumping into it. The two people who did my Photo Booth were also wonderful! They all joined in on the fun and made my night incredible! I cannot recommend them enough!

told us how much they enjoyed the DJ! Can’t ask for anything better than that!

le song was played! He was also super involved with my guests and wasn’t just there to play music. I will recommend him to all of my friends and family!

nitial meeting we were sold, because we were able to get a live sample of how they were going to service our wedding. My guest stayed on the dance floor the entire night. I highly recommend hiring Detroit DJ Entertainment for your wedding and/or next event. You will not be disappointed at all. I wish there were more stars to give besides 5, because this company is definitely worthy of more.

dance routines, Chuck and his team were able to handle it all! We had a lot of requests, a lot of specific details that we wanted to be absolutely perfect, to the point where our requests took two hours of a discussion with Chuck over the phone. He was very patient, very professional, and the day of event was everything we could've asked for. If your looking for a DJ to make your dream a reality, this is the DJ to book!

ed. Unfortunately, the major problems we had came on our wedding day. So for starters, we never spoke with our actual DJ and only spoke with Chuck during the planning process. From our initial conversations, I knew there was a possibility that he wouldn't be our DJ but was never told otherwise so we assumed it would be him. Just something to keep in mind that you'll never talk to your actual DJ until the day of. We had chose special music for our wedding party and me (the bride) ceremony entrance. I don't know the specifics of what happened but from what my coordinators told me, the DJ's laptop overheated or something and there was an issue loading the music. As a result, my wedding party walked to a completely different song and our ceremony was delayed starting by at least 15 minutes while they waited for him to get the music going. This obviously delayed the rest of the events for the entire evening. Then when it came time for my entrance, I was told that he was downloading my song at the moment I was supposed to be walking! I sat there waiting and waiting for the music to start and it never did. It was embarrassing and I was MORTIFIED. I ended up standing there in front of everyone waiting for the music to start and just started walking with no music at first. When it came time for the reception, I had a lot of guests complain to me after the fact that there were only 2 speakers or something and 1 of them was placed right next to their table which was by the DJ booth. I did notice from the head table that it was really hard to hear anyone with a microphone. I don't think the speakers were placed throughout the room for even sound but I'm not sure. I had stressed from the beginning that I wanted a DJ that could read the crowd and vibe. There were a lot of times only a few people were on the dance floor which was pretty upsetting. It's not the DJ's fault if no one wants to dance, but I had heard that there were a lot of people disappointed that there weren't any slow songs played. A lot of guests also told me afterwards that they had requested songs which were played hours later or not played at all. That's not a big deal but if there's only a few people on the dance floor and someone requests a song, you'd think it would get played immediately. It was disappointing how many people weren't dancing and just sitting at their tables. And then I'd find out that they just weren't vibing with the music. Overall, I was just disappointed. Booking a good DJ was one of my top priorities and it seemed like we had a good one based on the amazing reviews.

!

ith not a very large overlap of similar taste in music. When our wedding day came, our DJ and MC read the crowd expertly. Every song was a hit and almost everyone was dancing. There were some family members I never even expected dancing! The transitions were great and even when some funny dancing accidents occurred that they used to make the crowd laugh and engaged. They were an awesome team that made our day unforgettable. All of our guests mentioned how much fun they had dancing. I highly recommend!

we gotta say he did an absolute amazing job! From the very beginning of booking them, Chuck was such a pleasure to work with. Because of COVID, we had to scrap our original wedding plan. Not only was he so flexible with moving dates and venues, he even went through the trouble to travel to be there for our day. Bringing us to the day of the wedding. He supported music for our ceremony. He did such an amazing job cuing the music at the perfect moments. He even included filler music during parts that I didn't even know needed filling. I married into an Albanian family, so during the reception, we wanted a fair amount of Albanian music played and he did such an amazing job working with us on exactly what we wanted. Even playing other music, he does such an awesome job watching the dance floor, seeing what sparks peoples interest and keeps them on the dance floor. We had also gotten a photo booth and our guests had so much fun with it! We had the pleasure of having Chucks fiance, Nikol there to help with the photo booth. She also was so wonderful to work with and have at our wedding! From start to finish, we had an absolute blast! Our guests can't stop talking about the amazing time they all had! Thank you to DJ chuck and Nikol for helping make our wedding the most amazing day we could have ever imagined!

a breathe of fresh air! Everyone keeps talking about how great he was and how they loved how he danced with them . He played all the hits !!!Literally booking with him will be the greatest decision you will ever make !

per exciting for our guests! Made the wedding images pop! Very communicative, professional and personable. Thank you so much for making our day so special.

important factor- it is important, but really, the DJs ability to command the room and control the flow of the event can make or break your wedding. My Wife and I were incredibly pleased with Detroit DJs, Packed dance floor the whole night. I'm telling you... DJ Chuck is without a doubt worth the $$$$ !

day, they made sure to get our specific songs, song order. Made sure it was paired with the ways we entered down to who we danced with. While at the same time keeping it light and fun when we played games in the center of the dance floor. I highly recommend their services to anyone in the future that will be getting married or for any special event. Also the lighting for great.

ements/changes. Definitely recommend to anyone that needs a fantastic dj for their event!

a band at our wedding and DJ Chuck did a great job coordinating with them to share the floor and go back and forth between DJ and band all night. He kept the music lively and his set up is awesome - people danced all night! We also had the photobooth which was a hit! A great team for any kind of wedding in the Detroit area!

vices. I had the pleasure of having DJ Chuck for my wedding. Amazing does him no justice! I only requested four specific songs that I requested be played. Everything else, was all him. When I tell you that he had the ENTIRE place on their feet! I received so many compliments from our guests. He was able to play music that the young and old guests enjoyed, and he did it flawlessly! His sense of humor made all guests feel comfortable, and he really catered to the needs of me and my husband. I cant thank him more for making my day so memorable. He truly made it a night to remember. If you want the best, reach out to this company. I also paid for a photobooth as well. It was the highlight of the night! They offer so many services to fit all of your needs. I highly recommend!!!!!

ight full of awesome music. Love you guys! Nikkol was a sweetheart as well and our guests loved the photobooth!!! Thank you Chuck and Nicole for a perfect night!!!
