My wedding cake was absoluetely delish and all of our guests said that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had! Jon also did my sister-in-law's wedding two years ago and I k...
new we had to hire him for me and my husband's wedding. It was such a pleasure to work with Jon!
Jon did such an amazing job!! He works with you and makes sure you get the cake of your dreams! And not only does it look nice, it is DELICIOUS!!
Jon was great! He was a pleasure to work with and just a great guy! Our cake was AMAZING! It tasted amazing and our guests enjoyed wedding cake! That's not something you hear very ...
often! My only complaint is that our cake was supposed to have roses, however the flowers Jon made for it were orange, not red and were definitely not roses. If you're going to have flowers, my recommendation is to just have the florist do it. But that doesn't change the fact that Id still recommend him to everyone I know because his cake truly is the best you're going to get!
What a beautiful cake! Jon is an expert on how many tiers for the time of year/travel. His attention to detail in decorating our wedding cake was impeccable! The taste of his cake ...
is still being talked about by our guests and we plan to order cakes from him in the near future!
Jon provided us with a delicious cake and worked with us to make sure it fit our budget. What made his cake so memorable is the white chocolate in the icing. We can't wait for our ...

best part was hearing everyone talk about how delicious it was, though! I am way beyond satisfied, and will use him for special occasion cakes in the future!
We did not get a formal wedding cake but ended up getting sheet cakes to serve and they were great. Highly recommended!
The owner, Jon, is an artist. He creates beautiful cakes with all kinds of fun influences. He used our nautical theme and incorporated rope, icing and anchors onto the three tier...
cake. I wasn't expecting the cake to be a gorgeous pale blue, but he had the vision to make our cake into a delicious, nautical piece of art.
On top of his artistry, his baked goods are delicious. His cakes are light and fluffy, and the butter cream frosting is to die for! Just thinking about the frosting and the cake makes me want to go order another! My family loves sweets and they really enjoyed the flavors of our cake. I'm really excited to order our anniversary cake next year- it can't come soon enough!
My cake looked and tasted amazing! many of my guests commented on how good the cake was. I was really happy with how it came out and would buy another cake from designed elegance. ...

r a wedding cake, but I was blown away by how great the cake and frosting both were at our preliminary tasting. Well worth a little bit of extra money!
Jon is great! The bakery is really tiny but don't be put off! You can tell Jon takes so much pride in what he does. He was very helpful in helping us plan how big a cake we'd need ...
to accommodate our guests. When we met with him again closer to the date, we actually received a lot more "nos" than we were expecting. Jon was able to cut us down to a smaller cake and we saved about $100 which was great! On the day of, we were SO impressed with how beautiful the cake was. We picked 3 different flavor/filling combinations for our 3 layer cake and they were all delicious! The cake is so moist and the frosting is sweet but not overwhelming. Jon's thing is - don't wait and eat your top layer a year after. Just eat it now! Come in for your 1 year anniversary, and he'll make you an anniversary cake. My husband and I are already looking forward to it! Both times we visited, Jon also gave us a couple of his delicious pastries to go, for free! He's wonderful!
I discovered Designed Elegance at a bridal show. Jon was there with one of his staff members handing out samples. It literally melted in my mouth. This was consistent at the next b...
ridal show and at our tasting. My now-husband doesn't even like cake, and he admitted it was really delicious! Not to mention how beautiful his wedding cakes are. Mine was absolutely perfect...and all the guests raved at how good it was! My only regret is that my cake wasn't bigger. Some people didn't even get to have any. I think people were going back for seconds. I recommend the chocolate with chocolate fudge filling. It's to die for. Plus, Jon is incredibly friendly and easy to work with, and he bakes you a fresh cake for your 1 year anniversary - free!

picture printed off the internet, and he created exactly what I wanted using the picture and the design from my invitations. He also makes a complimentary anniversary cake for your one year anniversary. It was a wonderful experience.
Our cake was just as we had discussed, and true to the bakery's name it was absolutely elegant. We had chocolate and vanilla cake, and used the same filling in all three layers - d...

I had a tall order for the design of the wedding cake. I didn't want fondant. I was told by another baker that it had to be done in fondant. Well, Jon and I were on the same page. ...
I had so much confidence leaving his shop after our last meeting that I couldn't wait to see it. It really didn't disappoint at all. It was also the best cake I have ever tasted.

asting, he took one bite and said "I like cake now." I think it is the frosting that does it for me. John listens to everything you have to say and will make just the cake you want. I gave him a picture and he made exactly what we wanted. We had so many guests ask where it was from - there wasn't a piece left and we had a large enough cake for 200 people, when we had just 128. We will go with them for every other event we ever have!
John and his staff went above and beyond what I wanted my wedding cake to be. Our 5 tier cake was AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL!! Guests are still asking where they can get more of what t...
