STAY AWAY! If I could do negative stars I would. What an absolute mess! Angie has zero drive to capture your day let alone the professionalism to get you quality pictures when sh...
e says she will. It took over a YEAR to get all of our wedding pictures back! The book we got was not the finish we paid for and pictures were just stuck in the book covering faces and most of them were not even edited. Her demeanor though out the whole process was baffling and extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't wish this disaster of a process on any new married couple. Find someone who takes charge and seems like they have a passion for photography as well as someone who has social skills because this lady lacks all.
Design & Capture (Now KC moonlight Productions) was absolutely unbelievable. Our photograhers, Paul'Luc and Stephanie were amazing. They made a point to connect with us and our fam...
ilies to ensure they captured the entire story of the day. Both photographers were so creative, but left room for the groom and I to provide suggestions too. These photographers listened and gave me exactly what I asked for. I have received so many compliments on the photos I have already received and I know there are even more to come. Thanks for being so flexible, calm and creative. You captured our Happily Ever After perfectly!
Working with Angie and the other Design & Capture photographers was seriously amazing. We were planning our wedding from afar, and they did a great job helping us and being totally...
flexible with the planning.
The day of, the photographers were all on time, professionally dressed, and SUPER friendly. They all went out of their way to make sure everything was great, not only taking pictures but also talking cheerfully to the wedding party, joking amongst themselves, fixing my veil, warning me about stray hairs, helping put us in the most attractive positions - everything. We had a challenging day-of planner and all the photographers dealt with her impeccably. I was especially impressed by how they got all these amazing shots but never seemed to be in the way. Watching home videos of the wedding, I honestly don't even notice the photographers even though there were FOUR of them.
We got our pictures back from Angie about a month after the wedding, via a flash drive in the mail. They are INCREDIBLE and I couldn't be happier. For starters, there are so many of them! We ended up with about 2000 pictures - I had mentioned that I really wanted a large quantity of pictures to choose from and they really delivered. Angie obviously listened closely during our planning meeting as she had pictures of everything I said I wanted, and then some.
On top of everything, Design & Capture was the least expensive photographer we talked to. Seriously, I have zero complaints. Excellent photography, stellar professionalism, great experience, and awesome customer service. Thank you Angie & team for these incredible memories that we get to keep forever!
You will not find the same quality of pictures and all the add-ons for as good of a price as Angie. We got a special where we received 3 photographers for 10 hours, a 30 page album...
, a 16x20 print, and two parent albums for under $2000. As a bride on a budget, I could not say no to that. Her style of picture taking is not my favorite in the world, but she got some great shots and every single one that I requested. We ran AHEAD of schedule, which never happens, and her and her crew were spectacular to work with. They all went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. One of her second shooters, Tom, even helped the guys get their tuxes on properly! For brides with a limited budget, I'd recommend Design and Capture.
I may be a little biased because I have many friends that have used this photographer for their weddings, but I must say that Angie is dedicated, organized and knows how to command...
a shot. She will go above and beyond to make sure her crew is where they need to be getting the best photos possible. Highly recommend this vendor to anyone and we will be using her for family photos until she leaves Kansas City!
We HIGHLY recommend Design and Capture!! Not only is Angie one of the most talented photographers she is extremely professional yet fun and easygoing. We had our engagement and wed...
ding photographed by Angie and could not be more pleased with the outcome. We could not be happier with our decision to go with Design and Capture!!
We visited a bridal show and met the photographer/owner of Design and Capture studio and were AMAZED by the work that was displayed and found it to be gorgeous and most importantly...
different from the other photographers at the show. At our initial consultation, I felt that the photographer/owner was a bit too laid back and especially in her communication style. Being in the professional industry, I would actually consider her unprofessional. Because our kids were still impressed, we agreed to hire the photographer to shoot the wedding. In reading the contract, my husband and I both agreed that we were right regarding our first assessment and the extreme lack of professionalism. In her contract, she actually lists that the photographer must be fed and that she must be seated at the reception tables. Who worries about being fed when you are on the clock? It was several weeks before we even heard from her regarding our pictures and my daughter in law and I contacted her several times. We finally were able to pick up the disk with the pictures to only be further disappointed. The lighting was off, the flash was visible in all pictures causing the images to be distorted or ruined by the white light, and the pictures looked as if an amateur had taken them. The emotions of a wedding are only captured once and this certainly didn't happen. My daughter in law contacted her the weekend of July 7th nearly one month after the wedding to express her concerns and told her we wished to discuss further. Her response via text was "Yep" and that was it. Again, another display of unprofessionalism. We went back to her studio and face-to-face expressed our concerns and she offered to adjust the pictures. We went back to pick up the CD of adjusted pictures to find nothing had been done to them. When the first photo book was picked up on 09.07.2012 nearly three months after the wedding, it was printed with duplicate pages. I could not and would not recommend this photographer to anyone.
I absolutely love Angie! We had an engagement session which prepared us for our wedding photos 100%. We could see her style and discussed what we liked and what we didn't. For e...
xample, she took some pictures of me with my face to the side. I didn't like those so we didn't do them for the wedding! We booked 2 photographers but she showed up with 3! She has the best packages as far as value for your money. I would recommend Angie to anyone!
Angie with Design and Capture Studio is amazing! She has so many great ideas and is extremely talented!! We have only seen a few "teaser" pictures from our big day... and I can't...
wait to see the rest! So pleased and the price was very reasonable!
