Roger was absolutely amazing at our wedding! We really made a great decision when we hired him! He made playlists that were spot on to the music we liked and afterwards he sent us ...
a playlist. We just loved him! A great guy for sure. I would hire him again and I thoroughly recommend him for your event!
Roger is the best DJ in New Mexico! He was absolutely perfect as our wedding DJ in Taos. He was incredibly kind, professional and communicative in the whole inquiry/booking/plannin...
g process ahead of the wedding. Best of all, he was phenomenal at the wedding–from running sound at the ceremony to MCing and moving the night along. The dance floor was jumping the whole night. Roger came highly recommended to us by our venue, and for good reason. We absolutely recommend him to anybody in need of a DJ for a wedding, or anything else.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve worked with all kinds of DJs, and let me tell you, Desert Disco is next-level. Roger is such a vibe! He brings the perfect mix of fun, professionali...
sm, and killer energy to every event. The dance floor? Packed all night. The music? Spot on. The vibes? Immaculate.
Not only does he keep the party going, but he’s also awesome to work with behind the scenes, easygoing, communicative, and totally in sync with the timeline. That kind of teamwork makes all the difference on a wedding day.
If you’re looking for a DJ who will hype the party, read the crowd like a pro, and bring genuine joy to your day, Roger and Desert Disco are your people. Always a highlight to work with them!

Roger got the whole wedding jumping! He played an incredible range of music, from Classic Rock, R&B, Soul, and Funk to Hip-Hop and House. His music transitions were seamless, with ...
well-crafted mixes and great build-ups. His sound system was one of the best we’ve ever heard at a wedding. He read the crowd perfectly, keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish. We were especially excited for the house set that closed out the night—he absolutely delivered!
He was highly attentive to our needs, hitting all our cues flawlessly. Roger worked with us on custom mixing for key moments, including the ceremony, speeches, and the rest of the night. Setup and breakdown were handled quickly and efficiently. His professionalism stood out from the start, with multiple consultations and prompt communication. We also appreciated his formal training and festival experience—it really showed in his mixing skills.
The lighting, provided by Roger and Will, the lighting engineer, was phenomenal and truly elevated the space. They were both willing to collaborate with us to create the perfect production for the day. Roger continuously checked in, making sure everything was just right.
Our guests had such a great time that some even invited Roger and Will to the after-party—a rare occurrence at a wedding! While they declined (being the professionals they are), it speaks volumes about the energy they brought to the night.
If you’re looking for a DJ who’s skilled, professional, and truly invested in making your event unforgettable, Roger is the one!

Roger (Desert Disco) was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding DJ! He immediately stood out to us for his down-to-earth and, let’s be honest, less cheesy vibe compared to o...
ther wedding DJs. Not only was Roger very easy to work with and so prepared to help us finalize the order of dances, speeches, and music for each section of the night (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing), he was also so kind and attentive to us during the reception. For the dance party itself, so many friends commented on the mixing and how good the transitions were.

dance was so much fun! The music was awesome and there was never a hitch. Roger was gracious and easy to communicate with and his services were excellent. Our daughter had a perfect wedding weekend and the celebration at the reception was the icing on the cake.
Roger SET 👏 THE 👏 VIBE 👏 at our wedding. If you're looking for a DJ that plays unique tracks, is down-to-earth and approachable, is a fun and authentic MC, then HIRE THIS MAN! ...
As the bride I know that I am biased, but so many of our guests have said that it was the funnest wedding they had ever been to and a lot of it was because of the amazing music that Roger played throughout the entire day. He's so friendly, easy to work with, and radiates a passion for his job. Our day wouldn't have been the same without him and his assistant. Can't recommend Desert Disco DJ enough!
Roger was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ, and I feel lucky that we were able to hire him for our wedding. He is so easygoing and fantastic to work with, great at rolling ...
with small changes in plans and he’s especially good at reading the room. We had Roger DJ both nights of our wedding weekend - the welcome party and also at our wedding reception the next night - and he did fantastic at setting the mood both nights. I’m a wedding photographer so I hear a lot of the same music at weddings, and one of the most important things to me was to have a DJ who wasn’t going to play the same 10 songs they play at every wedding and deliver the same five cringey puns they have in their repertoire. Roger was absolutely perfect in that respect. Not a cringey pun to be heard, and he’s just a cool guy to be around. Roger’s own curated Sip Easy elevated cocktail playlist was a no-brainer for our cocktail hour, and I loved that it was a blend that felt like a perfect soundtrack to the moment without being your typical wedding songs on repeat. He played a mix during the reception that had both my friends and my family dancing all night, and (I'm told) his DJ skills even inspired a groomsman to perform the splits. Overall, 11/10 would hire Roger again and again.
Roger was super prepared--even more prepared than we were for the flow of the evening, and he throws one hell of a dance party! Would recommend you book him now!

r the most easy-going, chill vendor we worked with and he brought a great vibe before during and after our event. We received endless compliments about our DJ as he made our dance party dreams come true and then some. I am so glad that our photographer, Paul from Shutterfreek, highly recommended him because our day would not have been the same without him. Thank you Roger!!!
Roger was great. He was very helpful and accommodating! He played really great music and everyone had a great time. I would definitely work with him again!
