Deja Vu Studio

hotographers and were prompt to start. They also helped move the day along. Their pictures were EXCEPTIONAL!!! We are having such a hard time picking favorites for thank yous/album because they are all so great. They both were so kind and fun to work with. Monika spent time with me discussing what our preferences were before the wedding day and helped map out the day. They both made sure we got the photos we wanted, with our family/friends as well. Alex was our videographer and captured such incredible moments. Tom put our trailer and video together and we can NOT stop watching. The footage helps us reflive the night since it went by so quickly! Our photo booth was also so fun for our guests and us!! We even got a print out of photo booth pictures in a album at the end of our wedding night to take home. This was such a wonderful thing to take home and look at the day after our wedding! Thank you to Alan for all the consultations before to finalize our package and change the date so many times! I love everyone at Deja Vu and the work they did to make lasting memories from the day. I hope to use them in future for other family events!!

original pricing. And when we postponed I had emailed them that night and had a response within an hour! We first dealt with Alan who is the owner and got us a package that fit within our budget and included a lot of stuff! We first met Monika for our engagement shoot back in August 2019 and we fell in love with her! Monika called us a couple of weeks before our wedding to discuss the time line and to go over our photo list of shots we wanted on the day of. On the day of the wedding the team showed up a few minutes early and got right to taking photos and video and made me and my bridal party and parents laugh a lot! And through out the whole night they were amazing and got everything we discussed and the photos just came back yesterday and they are all so amazing we love them all! I would 100% recommend them !

pher), Maria (photographer), and Pete (videographer) were the best! They were so creative, kind, and funny -- I rarely had to pose a smile because I was laughing so much. The whole family loved them. They kept our group efficient and organized -- we finished photos and got to the church 30 minutes early! When does that ever happen?? They were also very flexible and accommodating, taking the ferry with us between the ceremony and reception. We got some great content thanks to their ideas! The final photos and video are just beautiful. We've shared the photos will all our family and friends, and the wedding video makes us laugh so hard. We really didn't want stuffy, too-formal photos and video, so they did a great job of keeping everything fun and light! "

picture taken but they made us feel so comfortable and the pictures came out PERFECT! We are so happy!

l and met our every need. Special thanks to Monika and Peter for capturing the best parts of the day! Highly recommend!

they did for other happy couples. The day of the ceremony Dave (photographer) and Cliff (Assistant) were ready to go. They immediately made me feel super comfortable and confident. We had such a good time that it felt like they were old friends! The professionalism along with the comedic relief from Dave helped everyone to relax. The shots he set up on the boardwalk, the beach and throughout the day and night will look amazing! I can't wait to see the photos!!

g photos and he was such a pleasure to work with. He made us feel so comfortable and really caught some amazing shots of our family and friends at our wedding. Tom was our videographer and did an amazing job of capturing all details and moments during our wedding. We are absolutely in love with all our photos and video. I highly recommend hiring Deja Vu for your wedding. They are professional and are truly talented. We will definitely be using them for future events and will recommend them to all our family and friends.

did not disappoint. Monika was there from the engagement photos, my bridal shower and the big day. Each step of the way she made us so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured so many wonderful moments leading up to the wedding and we cannot wait to see our wedding photos. We had an amazing team on the day of the wedding that paid attention to every detail, supported us and captured every detail. We are so happy we chose Deja Vu and cannot wait to work with them in the future.

our pictures. During the engagement shoot he made sure that we got all the photo opportunities possible regardless of the time that it took. He stayed with us through the sunset to get those pictures and we were so grateful! During our wedding he worked well with the videographer to get the shots that were necessary. He was so creative and made us feel comfortable and have fun throughout the whole day. We were rushing to beat the rain after the ceremony and he organized the photos well to make sure we got them in before it rained. He was working all through cocktail hour – making sure he got the pictures we wanted and would check in with us throughout the night to make sure we got all the pictures with all the people that were needed. We did not do the reveal which made it tough on time but he made the best of it and made sure we got all the pictures (weather permitting) to allow us to make it to the end of cocktail hour. We did have an extended cocktail hour which also helped. All his hard work paid off because our photos are beautiful! There are so many photos to choose from even without the reveal! They are also really great to work with in the post wedding time like when making your album and thank yous! Alan and Barbara are a pleasure to talk to and they really want to make sure that you are happy and receive the products you want. They are always available to be contacted, which brides know is very important! We have not finalized our album yet however we know that it will come out just the way we want it and we are in great hands! We used Déjà Vu Studios for our video as well. There were not many reviews about their videos when we decided to book but we wanted to go with the same vender to make things easy and I am so glad we did! Our videographer was a behind the scenes kind of guy but he always made sure he was there for the important shots! 3 weeks following our wedding we got an email requesting song selections for our wedding video and our finalized video was ready about 8 weeks later! We just received the video and the trailer and it was like reliving the day all over again! We were torn whether we wanted a video and we are so happy we decided to do it because it is a great thing to have! The video did exactly what we wanted it to do. We wanted to see the moments we missed during the day and the moments we wanted to relive again and it did just that!

and a straight shooter in an industry that sometimes lacks those. When there was a slight mishap at our Engagement Shoot, he did all he could to make it right. Monika was our lead photographer and she was incredible. She made sure we got every shot we wanted and had the most pleasant demeanor - making our wedding day so easy. Maria was our second photographer and she couldn’t have been better. Along with Tom, our videographer, we were thrilled with how the day went. And the final products - pictures and videos - made everything better. Deja Vu prides itself in its work and it shows. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.

of working with Monika and Tom while I was getting ready and they were so patient and kind. My husband worked with Mike and he said he was great made the time fun and relaxing. During the day/night the three of them worked so well together and made all of us comfortable and encouraged us to have fun while taking pictures. My guest talked about how great they interacted with the guest at the wedding making sure to take picture of moments we might of missed during the night. Again I would highly recommend Deja Vu!!

received our photos. Alan, Barbara, Brian, Tom, the whole team just the best! They are nothing but professional and personal. They want to get to know you and personalize everything to you as a couple, this is something hard to find! They truly care about you and it shows through their work. We are truly blown away at the pictures we received! We are having trouble picking which to even put on our thank you cards because all of them are just simply amazing. Brian and the rest of our crew were just the best. They made us all feel super comfortable and our pictures do not look fake or posed at all. They are simply breathtaking. I HIGHLY recommend them and would pick them 1000 times over. Stop your search and book them! You will not be disappointed. We love you guys and are so thankful! 1000 thank yous!!

en looking for a photographer, my husband and I wanted someone that did both photo and video so the most important part of our day would be in the hands of one company that already worked well together. We were aware that a large chunk of our budget would be for photography because that to use was the most crucial of vendors. Deja Vu happened to be a vendor at the North Ritz Club and upon entering their studio in Mineola, I was immediately taken aback by their stunning work. We booked with them and they gave us a great packaged. Our engagement shoot photographer was the amazing Monika Robinson, who trekked through the snow on a cold March day for our shoot and her passion and dedication carried through to our wedding day. From answering my calls and emails, going over my preferred photos list and making sure my album was absolutely perfect, Deja Vu was at the top of their game when it came to photographing and preserving my wedding day. I was probably the biggest pain to Alan, but he was more than happy to ensure that my husband and I were completely satisfied. Tom stitched our wedding video together beautifully and as an organized Type_A control freak who had no control over how to cut and edit a video, it came out lovely. Monika, Jennifer, Tom and David didn't miss a beat on the day, taking their own creative liberties to deliver stunning photos at Mill Neck Manor and the North Ritz Club. It was Monika who drove us to our wedding reception after our Rolls Royce broke down after our shoot! We received our physical proofs within a week or so, about 1,300 photos to look through! When it came to the album, I was still a crazy bride, making sure any wisp of hair could be edited, photos could be cropped and that the filters were exactly what I wanted for an album. They even removed my garter when fell down to my ankle and edited my dress when a part of it was tucked under a cushion! Probably more involved in the alum layout than the average bride, Deja Vu handled my annoyingness with grace :) They also framed and matted my 16x20 photo beautifully and offered complete honesty when I was unsure of which photos to include. Next week I celebrate my three year wedding anniversary and will recommend Deja Vu Studios to any couple looking to capture their perfect wedding day. Thank you will never be enough for capturing mine <3

had previous used a different vendor who LOST ALL OF THEM). Brian took the most amazing shots. The day of the wedding he was even more amazing. Not only is he talented but he makes everyone feel comfortable. My bridal party could not believe how quickly he learned their names. Other wedding vendors that day could not believe how professional he was; they plan on recommending him to future clients. Mallory, the assistant, was just as wonderful and helpful throughout the day. Tom, our videographer, was absolutely great as well. He has even contacted us quickly regarding edits to our video. Honestly, they were probably my favorite vendors to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process.

fter my sister's wedding, so we didn't even look anywhere else. We had Brian take our engagement pictures and each and everyone was so beautiful! Not only that, he made us feel super comfortable during something that can be kind of awkward. On the day of the wedding, Brian and the entire crew worked SO HARD making sure that everyone was posed correctly, running around adjusting lighting and moving objects in and out of shots. They were literally working from 2pm until the end of the wedding- I don't think they had a moment to stop! Alan (the owner) even came to our wedding and shot some video!! I thought that was really cool. We splurged and got 2 photographers and 2 videographers and I am so glad we did because the day goes by in such a blur that the pictures and videos are the only things that help you hold on to the day! Highly recommend Deja Vu to any bride and groom looking to capture their day!!

all of our wishes and made our dreams come true. They were on time, efficient, and made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend! Thank you to Monika and the team! You guys are the best of the best!!

Him and his team did such a great job! They really new how to capture every special moment of our wedding. Our bridal party loved them too. They made us all laugh and feel really comfortable throughout the long day. If your looking for someone to capture all your special moments of your big day I would recommend Deja Vu. They know what their doing and you won’t be disappointed with the end results.

ct! The team have their fingers on the pulse for amazing and modern photography. Their staff listened to our wishes, made suggestions and use top of the line equipment to make those memories last forever! Their attention to detail is what we loved the most, they took such pride and care in our wedding DVD's, photo albums and constant communication. We never felt abandoned because they always got back to us via phone or email quickly. Most businesses in today's industry dont do that. We highly recommend Deja Vu for your special day!

planning process, and captured amazing pictures and video footage the day of our wedding. Our engagement pictures were just beautiful, and the wedding pictures even better!! The team we had on our wedding day captured the most amazing moments, and we did not even know they were there!! We are so thankful and grateful that we chose Deja Vu to be a part of the best day of our lives! Tara & Danny Hayes

ost fabulous photos and have an unforgettable video. Specifically, the staff is extremely talented, not once behind the lens but the level of interaction, customer service, and care was felt by every member of the wedding. They specifically were able to work well with the kids in the wedding as well, getting them to smile and laugh while taking photos. fantastic vendor, would recommend 100xs over.

ng. They are professional, always responsive & they fantastic to work with! I’m in LOVE with the wedding photos and video (I probably look at the pictures everyday!). The quality & clarity of the pictures and videos are stunning. From beginning to end the Déjà Vu team was excellent, professional and lovely to work with. I can’t say enough how great they are! We were so lucky to have found a vendor that superseded our expectations. I feel one of the lucky brides who had neither drama nor problems with what I think is the most important thing of the wedding. The reality is that it takes a long time to plan the “Big Day” and it goes by too fast, but watching our wedding video made us re-live that day (over and over again hehe) . My husband & I absolutely love our edits and we both agree that it was the best investment we did. We cant’ thank the Déjà Vu team enough for their impeccable work! Thanks a lot guys ~ Allan, Brian, Monika, Mike, & Tom!! ~

and team the day of were fun and patient with my large wedding party!! They made sure to get every photo we wanted and were always nearby to capture all the highlights. Our photos came out amazing and really capture just how perfect of a day we had!! I can watch our video over and over again! My guests even commented on how great everyone was to work with!

rt of amazing. We booked everything Alan, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is extremely professional and made our experience so pleasant. We did our engagement shoot and our wedding with Brian and his team. Our pictures (and video for our wedding) were BEAUTIFUL and we could not have asked for anything more. Brian's patience and creativity made me feel so at ease on my wedding day! Most recently, we worked with Maria for our pregnancy announcement shoot. Once again, we were blown away by the photography. We will continue to encourage our friends and family to reach out to Deja Vu whenever they need beautiful photos. Highly recommended!!!!

beyond for us numerous times and we appreciate it. Our photographer Monica and her assistant Jen were sweet and so much fun. They had some really creative ideas and followed a lot of our ideas that we thought of on the spot. It was really nice to be around people like that because your photographers are basically with you all day and we felt comfortable and at ease. My only smalllll complaint is we have no pictures at all of our wedding bands : ( my husband had them beforehand and we only had one photographer with me but no pictures were ever taken later in the night and my beautiful open backndress was always covered with my veil. The day flew by so fast we never realized it but overall I would recommend them hands down. Monica did a phenomenal job I still can't believe the pictures are real because they look like their out of a magazine. She captured the best picture of my husbands reaction as I walked down the aisle, as well as other candid shots! Thank you deja vu for everything. We will be making our albums soon!!

team was professional and personable. We anticipated being posed for photos for hours being grueling and dull but Brian and his team had us laughing and feeling amazing the entire time. We could not have asked for anything more!

her was also great! Delighted that i chose this studio! Would recommend to any couple getting married.

e the everlasting memories of our wedding in the form of photos, a video, albums, and picture gifts for our guests. We cannot say enough about Deja Vu Studios and recommend them for every type of event you have that requires photography, videography, or graphic design. Let me start from the beginning. My husband and I had a big wedding at a very fancy venue. Our guests were among some of the world's key players. We interviewed a few fancy NYC photographers and they all seemed to have major attitudes. We were worried that if we had to pose in front of someone with a big attitude or a big ego, we might not look natural or relaxed. We kept searching and searching and everywhere we went--from lighting vendors to cake vendors to band offices--we kept seeing photos taken by Deja Vu Studios. We became curious, and when both our florist and lighting designer recommended Deja Vu Studios in the same week, we had to check them out. Deja Vu was a complete breath of fresh air. Alan and his team are humble, kind, gracious, prompt, and...the best part...they take PHENOMENAL photos. They are artists, lighting designers, directors, and masters of photography technique all wrapped in one. The photos we got from Deja Vu could literally be in a magazine--the lighting, artistic sense, and quality just exude grace and glamour. Oh--and since their prices are better than the snooty Manhattan photographers, we were able to buy more from them-- a longer video, an extra album, more prints, etc. Our photographer, David, was so kind and a really positive, funny, and relaxed person; he has a genuine ability to read people, and was able to capture moments that no other photographer could. His gentle and kind way with the camera makes even the most camera shy person ask him to take their photo. Because every wedding day is so intense, most of our memories of the details of our wedding are preserved in the photos and videos. As such, we invested a tremendous amount of time in selecting the right photographer. Deja Vu Studios far, far, far exceeded our expectations in every way. We will use them throughout our lives-- we plan to have Deja Vu photograph birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events for us for years to come. Thank you Deja Vu--we made the moment, but you made the memory.

Based on our personalities and the visions we had in mind, Alan had us work with his two photographers Brian and David. These two guys…. WOW. LOVE them. Brian and David had both contacted us a few times before the wedding to get to know us a little better and we hit it off instantly. My husband has always dreaded the idea of photographers on our wedding day (the demands, aggression, the rushing, the pushiness etc…)-- but on our wedding, he was BLOWN away. Brian and David made us feel SOOO comfortable on our wedding day. They knew how to make it fun and keep us calm. Our wedding was on NYE at Crest Hollow- a few photos we're taken outside in the freezing cold, but that didn't matter because they made it fun. We've already seen a small handful of photos from the day and they are incredible! We are at the edge of our seats for more! (Also… a BIG plus- every time something fun caught my eye happening with our guests, I'd look around for Brian or David only to realize they were already on it!) So happy I used Deja Vu Studios for our wedding,… I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

would not accommodate any of the things he agreed to in the meeting. I was not asking for anything complicated, simple things like my dad loves to take pictures, what would be included in the package and for what price, etc. He won't include the names of the photographers that will do your wedding, he retains the right to remove people from your wedding and literally says that you cannot have another photographer at your wedding, even if they are unprofessional. What does that mean? Lots of people will be taking pictures at my wedding! hello, selfies?! He was not responsive and dragged this along for weeks and would not consider one change to the contract. Terrible. I met with a ton of photographers and the one we went with was much kinder and patient and frankly more our style where deja vu certainly has more of a guido style.

with any questions that we had for him. As we got closer to the wedding, I spoke with Brian and we went over the wedding day schedule from start to finish. I was able to get the times and confirm when everyone should be arriving from the start of the day until the end. They both were great to work with. As the day came, the photographer, Mike, and his assistant were absolutely awesome. They were patient as I was scrambling around like a crazy person. Just as I went over with Brian, the pictures were done in almost the exact order. If I felt I missed a picture, Mike was super accommodating to take whatever picture I had asked for. They were so easy to work with and I have complete confidence some amazing pictures were taken.

n who was very informative and gave us a number of different options based on our budget. He was always very accommodating and always available to answer questions/concerns by email/phone. One of the features included in our package was our engagement shoot. Our photographer that day was Jose, he was a true professional and has a great vision when it comes to capturing photos. We felt extremely comfortable with him and our photos were awesome! We used our engagement photos to order our Save The Date Cards with Déjà Vu, which were a hit, all our guests loved them and we got a lot of compliments. After seeing Jose’s work, we requested him as one of our photographers for the wedding with Alan. Alan as always was able to accommodate us with that request.Deja Vu was very precise with all of the scheduled follow-ups prior to the wedding date. On our wedding day, we had 2 photographers, 2 videographers and an assistant. Bride and Groom each got ready in their separate homes, the entire crew arrived on time to both of our homes. The crew was with us for the entire day. They met us at our ceremony location, then the garden for pictures, and finally at our reception for the rest of the night. Throughout the whole day, they were helpful, even fixing my dress for photos, to make it look perfect. We recently picked up our proofs from Déjà Vu and all of our photos are absolutely stunning! Hiring a photographer for your wedding is such an important decision because they are capturing moments that you will cherish forever. We couldn’t have made a better decision when selecting our photographer/videographer. Thank you Déjà vu for helping us carry these special moments forever and allowing us to relive them. We especially want to thank Alan, Jose, Brian, Tom, David, and Scott! Danny & Michelle 7.12.14

raphers Damon and Brian were awesome! They really got my family and bridal party to have fun with them and did not make all the posing for pictures laborious. They even showed us some of the shots on their camera screen! From the few that I have seen so far I am impressed. I cannot wait to get the proofs!

!! He really was exactly what we were hoping for! He made us feel relaxed and took breathtaking and creative photos. We have had a few friends who recently also got married and they all said they wished they had used our photographer, not only because they saw how great he was but also because they saw how great the shots turned out! We also got our wedding video a few weeks ago and it was better than we even imagined! I cannot express how great they were!

e photographers, Scott and Brian were amazing. They showed up right on time to set up and had no attitude when it came to the chaos of the day, especially with two young kids. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

eing pushy. Our Bridal party loved him and felt he was very easy to work with. He took so many pictures and they came out.. WOW. After the formal pictures we didn't even notice he was there the rest of the night. Deja V was very professional to work with.

but I know that the photographers and videographer were great. They did what I asked and by the reception left us alone, but kept on photographing the candids that I so look forward to seeing.
