YUM!!!
We got our beautiful and delicious cake from Deising's Bakery without tasting anything and we were NOT disappointed. I went to CIA and got my degree and baking and pastry (...
I don't work in the field or even bake anymore - which is why I hired someone) so I feel confident that I know a good cake when I have one. This cake was delicious and perfectly built. On top of that, we ordered some bagels, danishes, and sandwiches for our bridal sweet and OH MY GOODNESS - DELICIOUS! I highly recommend getting that if your venue allows. The team at Deising's is incredibly talented and I highly recommend getting everything you can from them to make your big day extra delicious!
Thank you Deising's Bakery for everything!!
Simple, because of covid I never got to meet this vendor but my planner set everything up with them and our cake was absolutely perfect with style and taste!
Got our wedding cake from Deising's Bakery and was very very pleased with the final outcome. Loved it. It was completely beautiful and delicious.

d, they were able to create a wedding cake masterpiece!
After the cake tasting with our caterer for our wedding left us feeling disappointed, we scrambled to find a bakery that did wedding cakes and would deliver to our venue. We weren’...
t looking for anything fancy, just really yummy cake. And we didn’t want the sculpted fondant look.
Not being from the area, we found Deisings via Yelp. We were going to be in the Hudson Valley the following day, so we asked to see if they could fit us in for a tasting. They were so accommodating and allowed us to come last minute.
Our tasting was with Eric, who was so nice, laidback, and easy to work with. We were able to pick 6 kinds of cake and then 6 kinds of frosting. The cake was cut into cubes and the frosting was served in small condiment dishes, so we could dip the cake in and try different combinations. Eric gave us great feedback on the popular flavors (we wanted our guests to be happy) and the cake was delicious. Again, nothing particularly revelatory, but really tasty.
At the end of the tasting, Eric didn’t pressure us to commit, gave us what we felt like was a fair quote, and said to call him a month before the wedding if we decide to go with them. When we saw a lesbian cake topper in a display on the way out, that sealed the deal. (We also got their fresh twinkies for the ride home and they were incredible.)
We went with a four-tier cake with alternating rosette tiers of yellow cake with vanilla custard and fresh strawberries, and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. We finalized the order on the phone with another manager, who was equally helpful. The cake arrived he day of the wedding without a hitch and was just as we pictured and just as delicious as we remembered. We couldn’t have asked for more!
We ate the leftovers for two days after the wedding on our honeymoon. Eric didn’t recommending freezing the smallest layer and said in a year, they’ll make us another for our anniversary. We’re looking forward to it!

en we walked in and Peter was a great help in guiding us to the perfect cake. The cake arrived on time and in perfect condition. The cake is so good we didn't even have leftovers!
The cake was beautiful and delicious, and the bakery staff was friendly and great to work with. We wanted copper paint on the cake which they didn’t have, so we sent some of our ow...
n over to be used. The only issue I had was that we asked for a naked cake and it didn’t come that way. It wa me still gorgeous though!
Deisings provided cakes and assorted small pastries for our wedding, and the entire experience of working with them was great! We met for a tasting/consultation about a month befor...
e our event, and Norm was really helpful in suggesting products to match what we were going for and the needs of our guests. They have a huge product selection and can customize and combine ideas really well and easily.
The price (even with delivery) was very reasonable, and everything arrived very well chilled which was important on a hot summer day. Of course, spouse and I didn't get to try everything, but what we had was delicious and looked beautiful. Norm and his staff were very responsive and professional; we were very pleased working with them!
Deisings was an absolute awesome vendor to work with. My fiance and I went for a tasting session with Norman the owner. We sampled some cakes and literally everything was delicious...
. I brought photos of what I wanted and Norman had no issues replicating it exactly. One thing I was blown away by was how accurately they made the cake look like the photo when I sent them flowers, pinecones, etc. I bought the fake flowers myself and brought them to Desiings and the end result was phenomenal!! Everyone loved the desserts, we also ordered cupcakes and an assortment of italian pastries. Everything was just over 600 dollars, including travel! I was pretty amazed at the price. These people really know what they are doing I highly recommend them!
Deising's bakery made our dream cake a reality! Each of the cake's three tiers had a different, yummy flavor combination and the bakery created a beautiful icing design of gears a...
nd rivets to go with our robot cake topper. Devising's is amazing and I highly recommend them.
I'm not a cake person, but this cake was light and delicious! They decorated it with fresh hydrangea and it was beautifully done!
Since I was a young child, my family has ALWAYS gotten ALL of our cakes from Deisings. They made my parents wedding cake, all cakes for birthdays, any event. The taste is delicious...
, and it always looks wonderful.
This time, I wasn't all that impressed. I will admit, I'm sure I would get certain items from this bakery again, but I wouldn't recommend a wedding cake. The fillings were in the incorrect order (I wanted them in a certain order for what I would eat, and what I was going to freeze), there was not enough black or green, and I specifically said I wanted a medium-lime green. It was seafoam, and no one even noticed there was green on it.
I ordered my cake topper from there as well, and the first one, when it came in, was sold to another customer. It was reodered. But, when I got to the reception, it wasn't on the cake. It was "too heavy." The guy who delivered it told us to put it on just before we cut it. We jumped right into it. It didn't sit there for a while before cutting it; halfway through the first piece being cut, it fell off. The grooms head shattered and a leg fell off.
How do you make a cake that can't support a topper you're selling?
Not only was it a blast to meet with the owners but the cake was awesome. We picked out a cake in their book and changed around the colors and everything. It looked exactly the sam...
e at the wedding. They worked with us with everything and gave us ideas about what tastes good together. Not to mention their restaurant and bakery is amazing as well. We went there for breakfast the morning after the wedding.
Deisings did a great job on our wedding cake. I was scared it would come out dry like some weddings I have been to, but it was fantastic. It tasted and looked great! The owners ...

I gave them a picture of the cake design that I wanted and they replicated it exactly for me. The cake tasted heavenly I had at least a dozen people come up to me and tell me that...
it was hands down the best wedding cake they had ever had.;The owner initially tried to talk me out of getting the combination that I wanted (chocolate and hazelbut filling). I eventually got my way because I stuck to my guns but it was frustrating to be questioned on what I wanted.
