onnected with Kristin she was super communicative and on top of things. We planned our wedding ourselves and were really just looking for someone to help us on the actual day, but Kristin did so much more than that. She had a few Zoom calls with us in the months leading up to our wedding and she was so helpful making sure we weren’t forgetting anything, especially those small details that fly under the radar and then surprise you at the last minute. We cannot stress how helpful Kristin was on the day of our wedding - she came to my hotel bridal suite in the morning during hair and makeup and transported my dress and my husband’s tuxedo to our venue, helped organize the items for the details shots for the photographers, hung up my dress, helped me get ready and so much more. She accompanied us when we went to take our portraits at a park down the road from our venue and helped me with my dress, made sure I had water (it was a warm August day!) and was just so supportive and comforting. I’m sure there was a ton more that she did that we didn’t even notice! Kristin is dependable, efficient and responsible. I had been on the fence about hiring a DOC because I knew that the maitre d’ and team at our venue were great and I wasn’t sure we really needed one, but we are so glad that we had Kristin and wouldn’t have had it any other way! You won’t regret working with her!

ving the venue, Stephanie was on top of EVERYTHING both big and small. She made sure the day ran smoothly and took care of little details like cutting a thread hanging off my mother-in-law’s dress, ushering us away from guests immediately after the ceremony to give us private time, and ensuring we had time to eat at cocktail hour. We could not give Stephanie a more positive recommendation if we tried!

Kristin kept us perfectly on schedule, checked in on me throughout the entire day and night, helped carry my dress, and even gave me her jacket to keep me warm while we took photos outside in the wind. ay it was worth every penny. Kristin was my month of/day of coordinator and she was unbelievable. During the last month before the wedding, she reached out to all of my vendors and made sure everyone's timeline matched. She responded to all of my last minute questions promptly and made sure everything was running according to plan. I started to get emotional taking pictures before my ceremony, and she cracked some jokes just to get me laughing and I immediately felt calmer. She carried the train of my dress, fluffed it for pictures, and even hemmed the bottom of my dress after it was bustled because I felt like I was stepping on it. She was so attentive all day, checking in with me to see if me or my fiancé needed anything and was also so attentive to our bridal party as well. She acted as my brain that day, handing out payments/tips to vendors and I didn't have to think about a thing. I was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding day because I didn't have to think about all of the other little things. I would 1000% recommend Kristin and Deborah Minarik Events in general for anyone looking to hire a wedding planner.

I had absolutely no idea what I needed to do, what vendors to get, who to even look at and she was there guiding me every step of the way. She sent me such a wonderful selection of vendors for flowers, photography, hair, makeup, transportation, facilitated calls and contracts and every single vendor exceeded my expectations. Becca is so kind, puts you at ease, endlessly patient and just a lovely person overall. We decided not to have a videographer, so she made sure to take video so I could see everyone walk down the aisle. She was by my side for the entirety of my wedding day and made sure every thing went off without a hitch. Even if something arose, to no fault of her own, she was quick to make sure it didn't affect anything. Becca is the absolute best, and I miss her already!
