Dear Moment Chicago

eparing for this day. I had no idea what I was doing, yet I knew that I wanted the day to be perfect, and I didn’t have any guidance. With costs exceeding our budget more and more with each vendor, decoration, and thing that we just had to have, we decided not to hire a wedding planner and take on even more costs. Cue Tina! Tina had been my friend for a couple years at this point, and was more than willing to throw herself into the deep end with me. I didn’t want to burden her since I felt like such a disorganized mess and thought I would just be a headache, but she stood by me and I’m so glad she did! We were living in the same apartment building at the time, and when I was freaking out about making a decision like choosing dresses for my bridesmaids, she would just run right over with her computer, talking through the process with me while she organized our options in a Google Doc (she used to work in project management for a large company, so she is really organized and good at this stuff!!). Perhaps the most selfless act that she contributed toward my wedding, however, was hand making all of our party favors - about 200 of them!! I dreamed up the idea for these very custom little jars that I wanted to give away at our wedding with a s’more trail mix inside, but I figured I would have no way of seeing that idea to fruition. Again, cue Tina! I remember walking into her apartment one day and seeing her with these crazy magnifying goggles on while she was tying the little bows on all my jars (I should add, crafting is another long-time hobby and skill of hers!) She put so much care into making these party favors for me, you would’ve thought that she was making them for her own wedding, and every one of them came out perfectly. I’m sure that I am forgetting to mention things because she helped me in so many ways, but I will just close by saying this: When you hire Tina, you are getting a friend. If you are thinking, “oh my gosh, planning this wedding is so stressful and I have no idea how I’m going to do this,” she’s your girl. You can shop around and try to find the perfect wedding planner - I ultimately hired someone for some short-term/ day-of wedding coordination because people urged me too (and Tina wasn’t doing this professionally yet, she was just helping me!) - and I suppose person I hired was fine, but we barely spoke, I wasn’t sure what she was even doing, and she ended up losing the straps to my wedding dress!! So there you go, you can think that you’re hiring someone great and be disappointed at the end of the day. But everything that Tina did for my wedding was done with the utmost love and care and always exceeded my expectations. I know that she will work with her clients closely to make sure they are happy every step of the way to give them the most memorable and fantastic day!

rwhelming, but Tina brought a calm, confident energy that made the entire process feel stress-free and even fun. She has a true gift—not just for logistics and timelines, but for understanding people. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she somehow balanced keeping us on budget (her finance background is no joke!) while still making every element feel personalized and high-quality. The day of our wedding? We were able to be fully present. Tina handled everything behind the scenes with grace and professionalism, and we got to actually enjoy our wedding—not just survive it. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond, who’s organized, creative, budget-savvy, and genuinely cares—stop your search now. Dear Moment Chicago is the best decision we made.

ought of. Thanks to her finance background, she helped us stay on budget without ever making us feel like we were cutting corners. Everything still felt elevated, intentional, and totally us. On the day of our wedding, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing—I was actually able to relax and enjoy every moment, which is exactly what every bride hopes for. Tina has such a gift for what she does. It’s not just planning—it’s her calm presence, her kindness, and her ability to make magic happen behind the scenes. We are forever grateful we found her!
