Dean and Brown Catering

ner but the staff. Specifically we had one guest with severe food allergies, and because of the personal touch our wedding was the first event in 10 years that she was able to eat the food. The D&B staff knew her by name and were able to ensure she had a meal that fit her needs. The entire staff is professional, kind and ready to meet your budget. Thank you so much to the D&B team for making sure our wedding was a success.

y go to gal, she was so kind and sweet! I mean out of this world customer service. Terry helped me every step of the way with things such as menu options, allergy alternatives and color for linen. She also was so helpful on our walk through with keeping me on track and giving me tips on how to make everything flow smoothly. On our big day they made us feel so appreciated, the staff was kind enough to make sure that we got a chance to eat and try all the options we had chose. They had our apps & drinks ready for us during transition from our ceremony to our grand entrance and the reception and then our dinner was in front of us as soon as we sat down! The bartending staff did an outstanding job making sure all of our guests always had a drink in their hands! We definitely recommend using then along with our venue Rockfield Manor, they are a well oiled machine together!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! We would us them over and over again!!

had to wait for anything they were so attentive . I had guests coming up to me during the reception to tell me how wonderful the wait staff were. Working with them was so easy they really are professionals!

. Donna was the absolute best!! She kept the entire day moving so that we got everything we wanted and didn't miss anything on our timeline. She even took flowers and the swag from my arch after the ceremony to use as a backdrop for my formerly empty sweetheart table- genius! The way they worked with the venue and florist was truly amazing and took every single stress out of my day, from set up to take down. I could not be happier with how the day turned out and that in huge part goes to Dean and Brown and Donna!

PLUS more. :) The food/service was amazing and their communication throughout the whole process was more than expected. They were extremely accommodating in answering all of my questions and making sure everything ran smoothly! I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

was really great with communication and making sure everything was what we wanted. On the day of, the food was great! They even saved me crab dip and brought it to our table - the one thing I really wanted from our cocktail hour. The staff made sure we were taken care of with food and drinks. The bartender was great as well! I would highly recommend Dean and Brown catering for your wedding!

as our day-of coordinator and it was such a great decision.

, and responsiveness!

t service. I have food allergies and other guests had restrictions to work around, and they handled it all easily. Our favorites were the Italian meatball appetizer and the carved beef and turkey were a huge hit with all of our guests. We wanted an ice cream bar for dessert and the catering staff jumped right in to make that happen for us! We were very impressed that they had a satellite food and drink station so that our wedding party and family could eat while taking/waiting for pictures. One of the selling points for us was the fact they provided real China for dinner instead of making it a giant up charge like most places we looked at. Terry jumps right in to help with linen choices, venue set up and floor plans, table set ups and more. All in all, the food was delicious, the people were fabulous, everyone loved the bartenders they provided, Terry was the best to work with, the value was great and we couldn’t recommend them more for a wedding at Stone Ridge Hollow!

l my food allergies and made delicious food that I could eat! During the Wedding Terry helped with everything and was always there when we needed her! She was on top of it and made us feel seen and special!

ng during a pandemic. From helping us choose the perfect winter wedding menu, providing a wonderful tasting experience, helping me make decisions on linen colors, table placements, etc., and serving the most delicious food on our big day! We received so many compliments on the yummy food. Terry made sure my husband and I ate plenty even amongst the busyness of a wedding day. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I worked with you for many weddings as a fellow vendor, so I already knew how amazing you were, but you still blew me away! Thank you so much!!

y are very easy to communicate with. The food was delicious. They helped set everything up and clean up at the end of the night. I would highly recommend them for any wedding or event needs!

e) were ALWAYS taken care of. They exceeded all of our expectations and were flexible in serving the food when we wanted to take more pictures before introductions. Truly flawless and the best!

Terry was not only a part of the amazing catering team, but acted as our coordinator as well! The staff, overall, were very attentive and executed my vision for the table decor perfectly. The food was amazing and many people went back for seconds and thirds!

of set up a breeze, and almost served as a de facto day-of planner. Alison and I would highly recommend Dean and Brown to anyone planning a wedding!

e part for me was the care that the catering staff gave to us (the bride and groom). I hear stories of couples not eating any of the food at their own wedding. But the catering staff from Dean and Brown was on top of things, asking us if we wanted anything to eat or drink and making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for your skill and support! Highly recommended!

ons and aim to please. My husband and I felt so much relief on the day of our wedding bc we decided to go with Dean and Brown.

s in love!

They set everything up beautifully and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Terry kept our wedding timeline on track and was truly amazing at coordinating the day. The brunch menu was just perfect and our guests loved it! I would recommend Dean and Brown to anyone looking for a caterer as they were a dream to work with!

ny. You will be so pleased with these amazing people. The food is wonderful also!

your event! We used D&B as our caterers this past weekend and received the most compliments about the food!

we were so discouraged at the outrageous prices. Then we called Dean and Brown. The prices were far lower than just about everyone. Not only that, immediately we could sense warmth, genuine interest in us and flexibility that did not exist with some of the other caterers. Additionally, they didn't nickel and dime us for every little thing - which was common among other companies (not just the 8 we looked into). Linens, tablecloths, etc. were at no extra charge and there were so many colors to choose from. The food was very good. Get the baked brie cheese with honey and walnuts! This catering company, Terry and Christina, etc., went the extra mile in so many ways! They helped with decorating the venue! They cleaned up our personal items after the event - even boxed up the wine and beer that we had not purchased from them. The same with the cake. They organized bridesmaids and helped with the flow of the reception. I can't say enough good things about them. They calmed our nerves and thought of every little thing. These are gracious, down-to-earth folks who will really make your day special - and cook delicious food as well!

us what we thought of our own wedding, we tell them that we were amazed at how easy our caterer made everything for us. They were on point the entire night and we didn't have to worry about a thing. You can tell that Terry is not only very good at what she does, but that she truly cares about service and professionalism. We were married at the Liriodendron in Bel Air, MD. Dean & Brown knows this venue like the back of their hand, and this was evident throughout all of the planning and execution - something to keep in mind when you're looking for venues and caterers. -John & Ashley, married 08/25/18

, helped with the decisions, and made sure we were stress-free. The food was amazing, the servers and bartender were very friendly and engaging. Their help with the set up of our venue and presentation of desserts were fantastic. We highly recommend this amazing team for your catering needs!

The mashed potato’s were literally the talk of my wedding and probably one of the most memorable of my wedding (according to my mother) very pleased with this catering company!

cellent but the service was even better! Unfortunately it poured rain altering many of our plans, but Terry handled things calmly and swiftly and things still turned out beautifully! All of the service staff was friendly and very professional, it honestly could not have gone better. Thank you Dean and Brown, you were a pleasure!

ful the staff especially, Terri! She helped keep the flow of the evening going ( I did not have a day of coordinator). She made sure the bridal party, specifically me and my husband, had food during the pictures and a drink in our hand as soon as the ceremony was over. The food was incredible but really the kindness and care the staff took to make sure I did not have so much to worry about it what makes them absolutely incredible!

ly trusted Dean & Brown, which was very reassuring to us. We had never been to a brunch wedding so we weren't sure what to expect for the menu but were so impressed with all the options. We had an omelet station that everyone raved about and all of the food was incredible! They were very clear and professional from the beginning about pricing, what they included/took care of, when everything was due, and great about reminding us of the things we needed to look into on our own (like alcohol & the cake). However, what really sets Dean & Brown apart is their attention to detail and how Terry truly went above and beyond what is required of her. We met with her at the venue about 2 months before the big day and went over every single detail. Timelines, vendors, decorations, everything! It was like I got a bonus wedding planner with my caterer! She had answers to all of our questions and great suggestions of things she's seen at previous weddings. On the day of, Terry was always right there making sure it all ran smoothly. She guided the cake cutting ceremony, made sure our meal was at our table first, set up all the tables and centerpieces, and even got us mimosas! We looked at a lot of venues and caterers and couldn't believe how expensive some of them were, until we finally came across Dean & Brown with the brunch buffet option. We never imagined we could have something that great in our price range. We're so grateful to have found them! Thanks Terry!

l, asked the right questions, and actually listened to our vision for the night. Their exceptional service only continued from there. During our reception, Terry went above and beyond to make sure we were cared for and well-fed. The food was phenomenal, and there was none left over at the end of the night! My guests could not stop raving about how delicious it tasted. At the end of the night, the staff actually packed up EVERYTHING for us, and had it by the door waiting to go out to cars. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

nterpieces on the tables to the favor table to the beautifully dressed reception it was possibly the most wonderful experience. Terry and Christina are an absolute dream to work with and the food was superb in every way! I had so many guests come and tell me what an amazing job they did and how great the food was! My brother even told me that when he left to grab a drink he came back to his napkin folded neatly next to his plate! WHAT GREAT SERVICE!!!! Halfway through the night someone was in need of some Advil and who comes through but Terry with a bottle to help out. I mean anything and everything we needed Terry was there like superwoman! She checked in with me every so often to ask if I or my husband needed anything, was always there to refill a drink or bring whatever I or one of my guests needed. The entire staff was efficient, dedicated and polite. I could not have imagined a smoother evening! I will sing their praises for forever to let anyone and everyone know how AMAZING this company is.

timeline for the day and kept me on track the entire day. A day of coordinator wasn't in our budget and I honestly didn't need one thanks to Terry. She saved the day 100 times and made everything go so smoothly. Dean and Brown took care of all set up... chairs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, brunch tables, etc. They broke everything down and boxed everything up for us at the end and they even helped load everything into our cars. I was impressed by their attention to detail and two of the servers even moved with me as I walked through the venue to make my entrance so the windows I was walking past were blocked and no one saw me before I came out! Their staff was so pleasant and kind and we were so thankful for everything they did for us on our wedding day!

nd cake vendors, and assisted with other aspects of the ceremony and reception such as helping the bridesmaids to line up at the right time and feeding the bride and groom snacks and water in between photos. Every time I looked to see what else needed to be done, they had already taken care of it, it was practically like having close family assist with everything (maybe even better!). They moved with our flow, were flexible and punctual and on top of that everyone on the staff was pleasant and wonderful. We originally wanted to go with a cheaper bbq place for budget purposes but everyone at Dean and Brown charmed us during the tasting and when the wedding day rolled around, they were WELL worth the little extra we spent because the set up, ceremony, and reception went so smoothly with them guiding it along its way. I can’t think of a single thing that went wrong that day and it was almost entirely thanks to them. Thank you Dean and Brown! We love you guys!

, Terry, and Steve were all so attentive to me and my husband and made us feel so special. Outside of that, the food was amazing and I had several guests come up to me to tell me how delicious everything was. They also did the set up for the wedding and everything looked perfect. For the quality of food, service and the reasonable pricing - I wouldn't look for anyone else in the area. Thank you Dean and Brown for making our day so fantastic!

put all of my worrying away because the catering staff was incredible. I wish I could boast more about them because if I could plan my whole wedding over again I would choose them time after time!

of things, make our time schedule, and made the whole thing a breeze. The day of my wedding we were rushing around and I wasn't able to set up what I wanted to for my decorations and just left a box of decorations at the reception hall with the stuff I was planned to give them (just some table setting stuff). Well they set it ALL up for me! I didn't even give them instructions! It turned out even better than I imagined it. When it came time to eat, they made sure that we got food or anything else we needed. I hear a lot of brides say they didn't eat on their wedding day, but with the attentiveness of these guys I was stuffed silly and it was great! Then, when my mom was overwhelmed trying to clean up at the end, they took everything down too! With these guy you aren't just getting a food service, you are getting a wedding organizer too. I cannot emphasize enough how much these guys made my wedding a breeze. Thank you Dean and Brown. Your care helped make my day absolutely prefect.

the my wedding venue recommended them, but also because they were the most professional and reasonably priced company I spoke with. My husband and I met with Christina and Terry for our initial meeting. We sampled food and discussed our ideas for our special day. Every time I spoke with either Terry or Christina, they were easy to work with and reassured me the day would be exactly as we wanted it. They even allowed us to supply our cake, which was really important to me because my stepmom made our wedding cake. One thing people kept telling me about Dean and Brown is that they will go above and beyond on our wedding day and they really did. I didn't have a wedding planner so they were amazing with coordinating with my DJ to make sure everything ran smoothly. One of the girls working for the catering company was especially sweet, checking on my bridesmaids and I and bringing us drinks and anything else we needed before the ceremony. The food was perfect! Everyone said they loved it. My husband requested to have both a crab cake and steak for his meal and they were so accommodating, they even checked on us during our meal and asked if we wanted more! I just really can't say enough amazing things about Dean and Brown, their staff and the food! I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a catering company for their wedding/event.

they are doing and enjoy what they do! I would never use another caterer!

d. We provided our own alcohol and ice cream (for the waffles), but they provided everything else. The bar tender was super friendly to everyone, she was also great at making our signature drink. They were able to meet all of my requests. They made sure my wedding went according to plan. I would highly recommend using them.

y questions that we had. They worked very hard in making the wedding day absolutely perfect.

r everything they have done for us over the past year. Our wedding was on Saturday, and it was Dean and Brown, that made our day as perfect as it was. The Tasting: Terry and Christina are a dynamic duo that as a team takes care of food and planning (which is honestly every bride's dream come true). We had our initial tasting with them back in the Spring, and here we discussed menu options, tasted a variety of the most delicious food (oh and don't eat before hand because they prepare full courses, which made for a fun date night out!), and Terry showed us pictures of our venue (the Liriodendron) and discussed with us the variety of ways we could set up so that we could begin to formulate ideas. The Correspondance: Dean and Brown made themselves accessible throughout the year. If we e-mailed, we could expect a response within 48 hours, but it was always sooner. We had a menu item change, and they took care of it immediately sending us an updated menu within the same week. And about a month out from the wedding, as we received the final total of guest Terry immediately set up a time for us to visit the Lirio and have our in-person walk through. The Walk-through: Terry met us at the Lirio about a month before our wedding prepared with a layout blueprint of our venue. In the walk-through, we discussed table placement and decor placement. By the end of our meeting I had zero questions and I was 100% confident that everything was going to go off without a hitch. Terry reassured us that she has worked on hundreds of variations within our venue and that no matter what we had there, there would be the perfect place for it. The Wedding day: Our venue allowed us to arrive an hour and a half before the ceremony and when we arrived Terry and her team were a well-oiled machine. They welcomed us when we arrived and even helped bring things in from the car. Terry came up and reassured us everything was being taken care of and that if we had questioned just ask (I never needed to). The ceremony and reception were all a bit blurred with excitement, but I know that Terry was always right there to make sure we were alright through the ceremony and reception. And at the end of the evening, they even packed and cleaned everything up (which was a much-appreciated surprise!) The Food: The food was absolutely devine. Everyone raved about it and are still talking about it- more than one person has exclaimed how deicous everything was. I could go on and on but honestly Dean and Brown made our day perfect and for this we will always be thankful.

at we had sampled. Everyone raved about it... including our "foodie" friends and family. Terry, especially, went above and beyond. She made sure the bridal party had food (and booze!) before entering the reception, and even stepped in to help coordinate them when they were announced in. She made sure all of the leftover food was packed up and taken home, and also wrapped up one of our family heirlooms to ensure it got home safely. The servers and bartenders were very professional and did a great job packing up all of the centerpieces and decorations for us at the end of the night. We will definitely be recommending you in the future! :)

herself days after my wedding. They truly took all the worry out of my mind and the stress out of my day! You can not go wrong with anything!

friendly and great with getting back to me in a timely manner. At our tasting they made sure everything was just right. They walked us through the meal as well as linen and set up options. During our final walk through, the owner of the venue did not show up and I was nervous beyond belief. Terry settled any last minute nerves I had. She made sure that everything that needed to get done was done. The day of our wedding was amazing because of them. They arrived to our venue 3.5 hours before our wedding. They set up all of my decorations on top or their own set up. Terry made sure that the bridal party was taken care of with appetizers and drinks. Dinner and service for the rest of the night was spectacular. Everything ran smoothly. Our bartender Daniel was quick and knowledgeable- we had quite the array of beer and he was able to pair beer to our menu as well as make suggestions to guests. The food was fantastic. The praline grapes were out of this world and the crab cakes had the biggest lumps of crab meat I have seen. Every guest raved about the food. If you are looking for a caterer that goes above and beyond, as well as provide excellent food for an amazing price, look no further. I am so happy that I chose Dean and Brown for our wedding day.

ther was a piece of cake. This was great for or wedding because it rained. They were able to easily adjust and still make the event a memorable one. Everyone was amazed at their food and how amazing the wait staff was. I suggest getting the lamb chops as an appetizer.
