Days Away Creative

ly made all the difference. He captured every special moment so beautifully and naturally without ever making anything feel forced. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were outstanding, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Looking back at our photos, we’re able to relive the day exactly as it felt; full of love, joy, and genuine emotion. We are so grateful for his incredible work and would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who truly cares!

was super easy to work with and extremely flexible. He's professional and asks all the right questions. Long before the actual wedding, he sets up a call to get a better understanding of the types of photos you'd like to see so that after the event is over, you have exactly what you were hoping for. On our wedding day, things were chaotic and we often didn't know where we were supposed to be or how a certain thing was meant to be done. Jared was there every step of the way to offer his professional opinion and guide us in the right direction. He was an absolute delight to work with and essentially doubled as our event coordinator with how much direction he offered - which we desperately needed! And his in-studio photo reveal was such a great finishing touch on the entire experience! We got to go downtown, eat some great food, have some drinks, and relive all the best moments of one of the greatest days in our lives. We can't express enough how much we appreciate the entire experience that Jared offered and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

through the reveal. We really appreciated how flexible Jared was on our wedding day. We had a non-traditional timeline to maximize the amount of time we got to spend together and with our guests. Jared embraced this and did a great job working with us to get pictures done with time to spare. Several weeks later, we enjoyed going to Jared’s studio for the reveal. It was like reliving the day seeing all of our pictures on display! Thank you Jared and Ben!

ur friends and family couldn’t stop commenting on how much they liked our photographer! It’s obvious how passionate Jared is about his work, and we felt so lucky to have him photograph our wedding. When we got our photos back, we were speechless. He captured the entire day so beautifully, and it’s hard to put into words how happy we are with our photos. The in-studio reveal was such a great personal touch and an amazing way to relive our day. We would 10000/10 recommend Jared to anyone planning a wedding or looking to have professional photos done!!

t have been more impressed. He made us feel comfortable and listened to while we explained what we wanted. His professionalism and enthusiasm for photography really made us 100 percent confident that we made the right choice in our wedding photographer! Jared truly cares about the people he works with and even our family and friends agreed. Besides being a great person, he takes amazing pictures. My husband and I were blown away with the quality and quantity of pictures. He really captured every moment and you can see his passion shine through this work. We highly recommend Jared and Days Away Creative for your wedding. You won't regret it!

im to everyone. He is excellent in every category. Pictures were phenomenal and we adore them. He has such an inviting personality and everyone felt very comfortable around him. I love hanging out and grabbing a beer with him. Just a great human being through and through. When looking for a photographer, we saw vendor after vendor who edited everything the same : angelic, blindingly bright contrast, and the same filters. Being an interracial couple, we wanted natural skin tones and scenic moments which Jared perfectly captured. I cannot recommend him enough. 12/10 would do it again.

eat creative businesses. Needless to say, my photos were nothing short of amazing. Jared and Mike also brought the best positive attitude and energy which made my wedding day even more fun as we got to spend time with them while being photographed! Wedding photos are something you will cherish for the rest of your life and pass down to future generations - and when using a vendor like Days Away Creative your great grandchildren will feel FOMO from missing your wedding day after looking at the awesome pictures!!!

first meeting, Jared truly listened to the vision we had for our wedding day and helped us plan a detailed run of show to ensure everything went smoothly and that we weren’t over scheduling ourselves. He brought a second photographer and assistant, so no moment was missed, and every detail was captured beautifully. What really set Jared apart was his incredible personality—super cool, down-to-earth, and someone you instantly feel comfortable with. We met multiple times before the wedding, which made the day feel so much more personal and stress-free. He was able to get 10 guys super comfortable in front of a camera, organized a 20 person bridal party and made sure we were all having fun while taking photos. He even joined us on our party bus from the church to the venue, capturing some really fun moments with our bridal party! After the wedding, he even invited us over to his studio to create our wedding album, turning that into a fun, collaborative experience we’ll always cherish. The photos are absolutely stunning—better than we could have ever imagined. Every time i look at them, I feel like I’m reliving the best day of my life. If you’re looking for a photographer who is professional, talented, and just an all-around amazing person, Jared is the one. Thank you for everything, Jared!

hundreds of small things for your wedding and Jared is an outstanding communicator. He’ll always keep you updated on his timing and processes, makes you feel completely at ease. Even many of our guests connected with Jared during the evening and had great things to say! Not to mention: Jared’s photography is brilliant! Our reveal celebration showcased Jared’s eye for key moments and wonderfully skilled uses of light and motion. We are extremely pleased with the product. I can proudly recommend Days Away Creative to anyone looking for a friendly and unforgettable experience.

was totally game (no pun intended!) to make it all work. Not only did Jared capture the most stunning moments, but he also made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. His attention to detail is second to none, and every shot was perfectly composed—our photos are nothing short of magical. Jared has this incredible ability to blend into the background while still capturing all the key moments, which made us feel like we were in the spotlight without any of the pressure. The quality of the final images is absolutely breathtaking, and we've received so many compliments from family and friends. We're beyond grateful to have these precious memories to cherish for a lifetime. From the first video introducing himself when I submitted an inquiry, to our first meeting, and all the way through to the big day—it was all amazing. As a bonus, he even threw us a little celebration to showcase the full experience, where we got to relive the magic with friends and family! If you're looking for a photographer who's not just professional, but also incredibly creative and genuinely passionate about their work, look no further. We couldn't recommend Jared more highly!

tle details, we wanted a photographer who could match our joyful, energetic, and fun personalities. We also needed someone who could help us feel comfortable in front of the camera, as we aren’t the most photogenic people. Jared from Days Away Creative delivered on every front. Looking at his portfolio, it was immediately clear that Jared doesn’t just take photos—he tells a story. His work is inspiring, capturing moments with such authenticity and emotion, and that’s exactly what we wanted to preserve. s for our engagement photos and we just had the best day ever with him. He was absolutely hysterical and made us feel so comfortable. He truly is a joy to be around! Our photos came out absolutely beautiful as well!!! On our wedding day, he had everything planned absolutely perfect. We actually ran ahead of schedule! Our family and bridal party couldn’t get over how awesome he was and down to earth. He made sure to capture every moment we wanted and then some! His work is exceptional and I couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos. Jared was made for this line of work! We are so happy to have made a life long friend as well.

of everything which made me feel at ease. He is always reachable and responsive- this was especially great in the weeks leading up to the wedding when all the questions and panic sets in. Jared had a plan A and plan B and even a plan C for everything. On the wedding day, Jared got all the shots that were important to us but was also un-intrusive and let us truly enjoy the day. We just got our photos back and are blown away by the quality and variety of shots. We really cannot say enough good things about Jared and Days Away Creative!

tivity. Despite the poor weather, he made accommodations that ensured every shot turned out beautifully. His ability to adapt to the circumstances and still deliver stunning photographs was truly impressive. Communication was top-notch from our initial screening call to the very end when we received our photos. Jared was always prompt, clear, and friendly in his responses, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Jared has a wonderful personality that made everyone feel at ease. His enthusiasm and positive energy were contagious, making the photo sessions enjoyable and fun. He didn’t just take photos; he captured the essence and emotions of our special day. The photos themselves were high quality and almost looked like art. All our friends and family who saw them were impressed with the quality of the shots and the editing. Going above and beyond, Jared hosted a viewing party for the finished photos, allowing us to relive the moments. He even provided us with a free metal print, which was a beautiful and unexpected gesture that looks wonderful hanging on our wall. Thank you, Jared, for your exceptional work and for making our wedding day memories so special. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch photographer who truly cares about their clients!

friend and guide thru the wedding process. Our wedding day was perfectly timed and Jared managed to get the large family photos we wanted :) We loved bringing Jared into our childhood homes to capture some of the most special photos of our entire lives as we prepared to say I do!!! We have beautiful and creative wedding pictures -- jared was able to get creative and deliver us some unique photos that used the natural sky and cool lighting techniques! Doing a reveal celebration after the wedding where we got to meet up with Jared in his studio and go thru all of the photos together *AND* design our wedding album.... if we didn't use jared, i don't know that we would've prioritized designing our physical album, but i'm so grateful to have it finished and beautifully displayed in our living room!!! Pick Jared! you're hiring not only a great guy, but someone who actually cares about *you* and your big day :) P.s my NY sports loving husband also liked Jared even tho he is a philly sports fan LOL

he same without him and his energy. Our pictures are beautiful, and we are thrilled with how he captured the entire day. Jared was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. He was so helpful, kind, and professional and the end results are stunning. Thank you, Jared!! We are beyond happy.

h our photographer was and as soon as we shared photos they were in absolute awe! Jared was hands on from the beginning, he took the time to understand our vision and executed to perfection. From the moment he got to our venue to the moment he left, he was working to get every angle and magical moment. I’m racking my brain to create an event to use him again as soon as possible. Because WE WILL use him for anything and everything we want photographed. The best part about Jared is he truly cares about his couples and goes above and beyond to make your day the best day ever all while capturing it on film.

dding date he responded immediately with a video reply of himself which made everything super easy to understand from the get go. Through the entire planning process Jared continued to have amazing communication and was very responsive. We had our engagement photo shoot at Longwood gardens which is where we met Jared for the first time. My husband and I were a little nervous going into it because we had never been professionally photographed before, but Jared made it such a fun experience. He is so cool, comforting and relatable. He captures very beautiful and unique moments that I had never seen by other photographers before. On our wedding day Jared was the first one my bridesmaids and I saw when we were walking in to Parque. My nerves immediately settled as Jared had been to the venue several times before and knew exactly what to do and he directed us straight into the bridal suit. Throughout the entire day Jared captured the most beautiful moments and told the story of our day through photos perfectly. He was so much fun and was even dancing and singing with all of us at one point during the reception while still taking pictures! During the wedding I had multiple guests come up to me to compliment my photographer. All of my bridesmaids also want to use Jared for their future weddings! He is very easy to get along with and will make all of your guests laugh and feel comfortable. I am so happy that we went with Jared! He helped make our day so special and now we can always look back on our happiest day through the album that we put together with Jared at his studio. I say look to further when it comes to hiring a photographer for your wedding. Jared is amazing and he is the BEST in the business. I cannot recommend him enough!

ality shined through and we knew he was our guy. He was great with communicating throughout the entire planning process to make sure everything was set and ready to go for our big day and to make sure he knew everything we wanted. He took time out of his schedule to go tour my venue ahead of time since he had never shot there before and so he could envision everything he wanted to make our day so special. My family could not stop complimenting Jared and his teammate on the day of our wedding. He had a reveal day for us at his studio to show us our photos which made getting our photos back that much more special. Our pictures came out amazing!

oughout. The day of, they made us feel at ease and comfortable (taking photos can be so awkward) and they were so fun to have around. We know the photos are going to be killer - our engagement shoot with Jared was amazing, too. Could not recommend enough to anyone we know.!!

beautiful photo led to an amazing experience. Although our wedding is finished, we'll be coming back to him for portraits and purchasing prints as long as he keeps snapping photos. We're loyal customers for life!

ever meet! He made the wedding day so much fun and was so open to any and all ideas I had. The best part of working with Jared is the reveal. After the chaotic day of the wedding, it was perfect to meet him at his studio after and go through all the photos and design our album together. It was the perfect way to relive our wedding day! I would recommend Days Away Creative a million times over!!!

soon as we watched the video, we knew that Jared would photograph our wedding. The process from meeting him to picking out our photos for our album was seamless. All of our family members LOVED him and I would recommend him over and over! If you’re looking for someone who is professional, extremely organized, personable, and unbelievably talented then Jared is your guy! I promise he does not disappoint.

ouple’s love story was really felt throughout the wedding planning process, and especially on our wedding day! It felt like we had another dear friend with us. This helped my wedding jitters to feel at ease the moment he walked into the wedding suite. He really puts his whole heart into his work, and we love the special touch of the reveal celebration at his studio when we get to see all of our pictures and relive our wedding day magic all over again! Jared’s assistant photographer, Ben, was a joy to work with as well, and did an incredible job! We are so thankful and grateful to have worked with Jared, and can’t wait to have his works of art to relieve the magic of our wedding day for the rest of our lives!

itely did!! You know you have a great photographer when you spend hours sorting through hundreds of incredible photos just trying to narrow it down to your top 20 to post online. The day of our wedding he was so professional and upbeat. My family and I were very comfortable with him being there for all our special moments. 10/10 recommend. You would be foolish to go with anyone else but Days Away Creative.

bsolutely shows in his work. We had our engagement photos with Jared and they came out beautiful! My husband and I tend to be a little awkward in front of a camera, but Jared's personality made it so easy to just enjoy our time spent together and took amazing pictures in the process!! Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, and I attribute that to Jared and his team that helped our day move along smoothly, all while capturing all of the moments that we would never want to forget!

xperience great. It made the shoot tons of fun and allowed us to just be ourselves which showed in all the photos. The photos are great looking. The finished product shows Jared’s professional touch and how much he loves what he does. When it came to the wedding day, it was the same as the engagement shoot. Prior to the ceremony Jared and the second photographer (completely blanking on her name) was there to capture every moment we wanted. They caught all the fun that comes with getting ready. During the ceremony, there were so many wonderful moments captured, and we did not even notice them there. When it was time for the reception, they were able to get amazing photos of our venue (Parque at Ridley Creek). They really captured the elegance of the venue and the surrounding area of the photos during cocktail hour. They put us in the best spots to have great photos. During the rest of the reception, they caught all the great moments with friends and family on the dance floor. When Jared finished his edits on the photos from the wedding day he had us at his studio to see some of the finished product. We walked through designing our wedding album during that time too. This was great to be able to sit down and have nice casual conversation with him. The final product was just as great as the engagement photos. Jared’s love for photography really shows in all his work. From start to finish it was a great experience working with Jared and will be keeping him in mind for other photo shoots in the future.

the way through our Reveal Celebration at his studio Jared’s approach to capturing our lifelong memories was authentic, engaging, and with a heart for service!!! His love and passion for photography and his couples exudes out of him in each interaction you have :) My husband and I are blessed to have 5 families and loads of people super important to us. As you can imagine that makes for a lot of photo combinations, but Jared never once shied away from the sheer volume that I was asking for, or pushed an agenda on us. He truly took the time to listen to what was important to my husband and I and made sure to deliver. I mean he even sent a card of my favorite Disney movie. . . Like come one now how INTENTIONAL!! <3 On the day of the wedding Jared was like a lifelong friend experiencing the day with us, and Joey was our associate photographer who simply rocked the day too! I will never be able to thank Jared (and Joey) at Days Away Creative enough for how they captured our most special day, but I can share what a truly remarkable experience it was <3

nd so talented! He made the whole process seamless for us and was just so fun to work with. His work is incredible and my husband and I were blown away by the moments he captured. We were nervous not having a Videographer but the moments captured and quality of the photos tell the whole story. We highly recommend the package that includes a reveal celebration. We got to relive our wedding day with Jared’s help on our reveal day and had an incredible time putting together our album. Big shout out to Jared’s assistant photographer, Joey, as well! The two of them were a force on our wedding day and made sure we got all the shots we asked for plus a bunch of others we hadn’t even thought of! They were open to our asks and suggestions and made it work if possible. But most importantly, they knew when to push back because of the lighting or background, and we can’t be happier that we complied because they knew what they were talking about!! Aside from being phenomenal to work with, the pricing was totally reasonable for the quality you’ll get and the experience. Thank you Jared & Joey (and Cody!) for the amazing experience and for capturing our day so beautifully.

like just a photographer his presence felt like family. Thank you Jared !

the day since I already had experienced Jared's wedding day energy. It was so much fun to see our photos at the party after too. So excited for the album to arrive!

perly capture your day. By the time your wedding is over, Jared is literally your new friend. We just got our album and couldn’t be happier! Our wedding party and family spoke so highly of Jared and Eric(2nd photographer) which speaks volumes.

e sure we enjoyed the day and didn't feel like we were being photographed alllll day. haha. We wanted to be able to relive this day and at our reveal we realized Jared and his team did just that. Thank you!!

We’re are blown away with our photos the tell the story of our perfect day! Highly recommend!

en, Covid. After rescheduling twice, we finally had our wedding in May 2022, and Jared & Ben were there to capture unforgettable moments. Jared was also very patient with my 15-month-old, who, by the end of the afternoon, was totally over it. Nonetheless, he was able to capture beautiful pictures of our family & friends, but I am especially grateful for shots he was able to get of my daughter & me. Both Jared & Ben are laid back and made us feel at-ease and comfortable throughout our shoot. I also mentioned that I wanted a few good pictures of my dog, and Ben did not disappoint! If you’re looking for someone professional, punctual, dependable, and easy to communicate with, Jared is your guy!

assistant were attentive and adaptive through the whole process, with us changing dates and venues. Also, when your pictures are ready, he has a whole reveal session for you and your partner, so cool. Glad to call Jared a friend after this experience!

ted for our wedding photos and the schedule of the day. He checked in with us and was flexible with any changes. On the wedding day Jared was the perfect combination of a calming presence and getting us hyped up. My husband hates having his picture taken and he still talks about how much fun the groomsmen had having their getting ready photos done by his partner Alex. They were efficient and made the whole day so enjoyable. Most importantly, our pictures turned out incredible. From the posed portraits, to the candid shots, to the reception details, they were all beautiful. Thank you Jared for making our day so special and giving us beautiful memories to look back on!

really listens to what is important to the couple and has a great vision. I can’t wait to continue to work with him ! I am very much looking forward to our big day and can’t wait to see what beautiful moments Jared captures.

r engagement shoot, it was such a fun time hanging with Jared, there was no pressure, it was like hanging out with one of our friends! Our engagement photos are stunning. We have already received so many compliments. Booking Jared was one of the best decisions we made! Book him, book him now. We cannot wait for our wedding day!

s are still commenting on how great Jared was at the wedding. Jared went out of his way to make sure that our entire wedding story was captured and even stayed longer to ensure he got the last photos of the night. Our wedding photos were absolutely stunning and the reveal celebration that he put together was one of the best extra touches. It was so nice to be able to walk in and see our photos on the wall, the slide show of photos playing on the TV for the very first time and be able to go through our album design in person with Jared.

rking with Jared, he was dedicated to making our vision a reality. Jared began with shooting our engagement session and we instantly knew we had a caring, innovative, and stellar photographer. Inevitably we had to postpone our 2020 wedding to which Jared eased the stress by making the rescheduling process easy. Finally on the day of our wedding, Jared and his partner Alex were an absolute dream! They were prompt, organized, and extremely personable with our wedding party, family, and friends. Not only was Jared personable and easy to work with but his photographs are amazing and will be sharing them for years to come!

our engagement photos I can’t wait to get our wedding photos back ! He did a wonderful job I would recommend him for other couples he was very efficient and professional and made sure to get things done ! And I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Anything we asked for, he was able to accomplish for us with a positive and ready to go attitude. He is extremely passionate about his work which shows in his photos. Can't say enough good things about Jared- would recommend him to anyone!
