About this vendor
For you, it's all about the candid moments. You don't want this to feel forced but you want images that represent all the most emotional moments from you wedding day. Like the first time Emily's dad saw her in her dress, just months after her mother had passed, and there wasn't a dry eye. Like the time Kiley's ailing grandma came to the venue in an ambulance to witness her wedding in person. Maybe even the time you'll have two families and four generations of relatives out on the dance floor together. In my eyes, magazine worthy images are awesome, but real moments matter more.
I care a lot about you, and we haven't even met yet. It's part of what makes my photography stand out from the rest. I believe that anyone can take your picture but only a few can tell your story.

We couldn't be happier with the way our wedding photos turned out! David captured all of the best moments, got every group photo we asked for, and even came up with ideas we hadn't...
even thought of (aka sunset hill top photos)! He was extremely professional and accommodating. We purchased a package that included a leather wedding album using our favorite images from the day. After he put it together we were able to meet with him to make sure it was perfect (which it was!) and make any changes we might like. That extra step really made it feel like we were included in the album process. David was always available if we had questions and very understanding, even when we got the date wrong for one of our meetings.
We HIGHLY recommend David McCandless Photography for any wedding!

e nicest and caring humans I have ever met! He went above and beyond to get the images he knew I would love! I cant even put into words how much I love our photos!
David was also the only one who could calm me down on my wedding day as it was supposed to downpour all day! He ensured me I would get amazing photos no matter what the weather did and he was right!
Not only was he so calming, he was fun!! Doing our couples photos after the ceremony was one of my favorite memories of the night! He made it fun and enjoyable!
If you book David you will not be disappointed and I'm sure it will also become one of the best decisions you make regarding your wedding!
I can’t even begin to describe what a joy it was to have David as our wedding photographer. David did both our engagement and wedding photos, and far exceeded our expectations with...
both! Professional, creative and passionate are just a few words I would use to describe David and his work. My husband and I decided not to have a videographer for our wedding, so I told David I wanted our pictures to capture the emotions of the day. David certainly delivered on that request! It is the personal touches and attention to detail that truly set David apart from other photographers. He will take the time to get to know you and your partner, and exactly what your vision is for your wedding day. I am certain that we will be contacting David again in the future!

or capturing moments I didn’t even think of. He is so easy to work with and doesn’t make anything uncomfortable. He also helped design my wedding album and had even more suggestions that I never would have thought of. I couldn’t be happier with the decision of choosing him as our photographer. He is the best!

David was the absolute best on our wedding day! In addition, he also did our engagement shoot we are still in awe of. My husband and I couldn't have been more happy with our photos...
and lovely experience. From the first time we met with David, we both could tell how passionate he was. He took so much time to go above and beyond our photo expectations. David is extremely personable, and his commitment truly shows in his work. We booked his largest package, and wouldn't do do anything differently. Thanks again, David!
