About this vendor
Danielle Kolb Events is a wedding-planning service based in Chicago, IL. It is not by accident that the company’s owner, Danielle Kolb, has become an expert at planning weddings and events. She delights in the fine details and takes pleasure in curating memorable celebrations for couples and their guests.
This wedding planner got her start as a event planner working for Feld Entertainment, owner and operator of Disney On Ice, Supercross, Monster Jam, and more. After 6 years with the company, and a couple years spent in Boston, it was love that eventually drew her back to her home in Chicago. Once back home, she transitioned to corporate events, working with companies like Facebook, GoDaddy, Disney, Microsoft, and more. Danielle soon married the love of her life and became a full-time mom to two children. Nevertheless, she found her way back to event planning and took the leap to start her own business, creating unforgettable weddings, parties, and corporate events.
Planning weddings comes as second nature to Danielle. She derives great happiness from watching a couple’s special day unfold in the exact way they envisioned it would. Her great hope is to take the stress out of planning so that you can be fully immersed in every moment of your wedding.
Danielle Kolb Events offers couples a variety of customized packages to make wedding planning a breeze. Full-planning services and day-of coordination are available, as well as a variety of á la carte services. From developing a budget and choosing a venue to producing a timeline and providing support on the big day, Danielle can handle the fine details. Her goal is to craft a magical day that you and your guests will remember for a lifetime.

nded Danielle and a few others, but when I spoke with Danielle, I didn't need to talk to anyone else. I knew she was the perfect fit, and she was. I was able to text, call, email her at any point in time and she was always there to remind me "everything will work out, we'll figure it out" and we always did! She connected us with the most amazing vendors in the city and everyone came together to make our day better than I ever could have imagined. Knowing that we had Danielle there was such a stress reliever. I trusted that she would handle everything and help make it happen just as we envisioned, and she truly did. Our wedding day exceeded every one of my expectations and that is truly largely due to Danielle and the efforts she put in to it. I cannot recommend or thank her enough. She is truly special!

hly. I know having Danielle's attention to detail to our day timeline and working with all of our vendors was the only way a 366 person wedding went well! Highly recommend and very thankful for all of her help!
It is difficult to adequately describe how special of a soul Danielle is. As a former event planner, I knew that hiring a day of coordinator would be an essential component of our ...
tight wedding budget. This insurance for myself as a type-A bride paid for itself at least 10 times over with the peace of mind that Danielle provided. She brought so much love, attention and professionalism to our day and I could not imagine our wedding without her. From our first contact, I felt such a draw to her warm demeanor, organization and attention to detail. Coming from the event space, I needed someone who knew the ropes and wouldn't be intimidating by a couple who knew what they wanted. She asked incredible questions to really get to know us as a couple, and provided such care and attention when building out our timelines. She was incredibly responsive and hilarious throughout our entire planning time together. If there was any major hiccups at our wedding, I certainly didn't know about it, which is exactly what I wanted! She setup both our ceremony and reception decor and my jaw literally dropped (see photos) when I saw both spaces. She took our vision and Pinterest inspiration and helped make it a tangible reality. Not only was she incredible boots on the ground support, but it's because of my trust and faith in her that I was able to relax and have the absolute best wedding day. A million thank yous to Danielle for making our day so dang special!!

nly working together for the “month-of” our wedding, Danielle was always available to answer our questions and provide guidance throughout the planning process even ahead of time.
She helped us create a detailed timeline and made sure that all vendors were on the same page. On the day of our wedding, she made sure every little detail ran seamlessly. She coordinated with all vendors, and made sure that the setup and decor were exactly as we had imagined. Most importantly, she even took care of unexpected issues that arose, without us ever knowing (to make a long story short, our fog machine was a disaster but Danielle stepped in even after our wedding date to make sure we were taken care of, even when she wasn't expected to)!!
Danielle had everything under control which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our special day. Danielle’s attention to detail and professionalism truly exceeded our expectations. Regardless of what was thrown at her, she always had a smile on her face. We couldn't have done it without her and we highly recommend Danielle's services to any couple planning their wedding!

tful in all that she does. She even agreed to coordinating our wedding even though it was her own wedding anniversary! We are so happy we used her day of coordinating services (which honestly was a lot more than just day off).

vendors etc. Danielle took care of all of that, and eased my stress and made the days leading up to our wedding and day of perfect. She came prepared (meds) and gave advice/ suggestions to help us improve what we had planned or save money! Who doesn't love that?! You will not regret hiring Danielle!

lpful, organized, always responsive and available, and kept me calm many a time. Our day ran so smoothly and I know much of that credit was to our vendor team including the detailed schedule Danielle put together and worked through with us several times before the big day. Would highly recommend Danielle if you are looking for coordinator or planning services. A bride's (or groom's) BFF for sure!
I can't say enough good things about Danielle and her services as a coordinator. Initially I didn't think I wanted to get a planner because I had planned almost all of the wedding ...
and the venue had an onsite coordinator. I had researched and all the other day of coordinators were so strict in limiting their communication before the wedding, set up and time the day of- not to mention they were all outrageously priced for their limited services. Danielle was very competitively priced and on top of that she was always accessible, came to our tasting, rehearsal and also helped transfer and store all my diy items which she set up the day of the wedding. All of that on top of keeping all the vendors on schedule (we started the ceremony to the minute it was supposed to start) and working around a possible complete change of ceremony due to spotty weather. When the wedding ended she had cleaned up all my diy and personal items from the bridal suite and loaded them into her car- so seamlessly that I didn't even realize it was all being done while I was enjoying the end of my evening. She had a LONG day and was there for over 12 hours, all while having a newborn and 2 other young kids at home (which you would never know because she was on time and professional for everything). Danielle comes from corporate event planning so she is well versed in the game. She really is Superwoman!
DANIELLE WAS OUR SAVING GRACE!! We found Danielle when we had almost given up hope. Danielle helped us get back on our feet and continue planning the Wedding. She had great vendor ...
recommendations and was always one step ahead of us while planning. She was incredibly available and flexible while working with us and around our schedules. We could always count on her to be on top of tasks and to respond quickly. One of our vendors did not finish their services and Danielle stepped in to make the wedding even more special! We have extreme confidence in Danielle and would recommend her to any bride and groom either in town or out of town!

ur greatest pleasure! Danielle is more than just a coordinator, she quickly became a friend, confidant and my personal hype girl - the person I’d call and overly text every time I was lost, confused and very anxious. She’s kind, patient, trustworthy, professional, responsive, dedicated with an amazing personality that is so contagious . Thanks to Danielle my wedding day was perfect despite all the stress of a multicultural wedding. Not only did Danielle perfect my wedding timeline multiple times, she reassured me that she will be with me the entire way to ensure my wedding was perfect. Indeed, our wedding was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined - I couldn’t believe that Danielle pulled everything off, it felt surreal looking over the dance floor and two completely different cultures blending. I will forever be thankful for everything Danielle has done for us. All the vendor meetings she was in on, for all the problems she solved so effortlessly, for making sure every single detail was perfect no matter how big or small. So if you’re that person that is debating on whether or not Danielle is worth it, she is worth every single penny and so much more. She isn’t just a wedding coordinator, she’s my wedding angel & forever friend. ❤️

dding, especially with a big family! Hiring Danielle Kolb as my wedding planner was the best decision I made for our big day! She made finalizing vendors a breeze by giving me various options within different price points, all I had to do was pick what worked best for our wedding day. She is extremely knowledgeable about when and what needs to be done before the wedding. I’m confident that my wedding day will be a huge success, not only because she will be there to coordinate, leaving me stress-free; but also because she will be on top of those small details throughout the wedding planning process. Thank you, Danielle! I couldn’t of done it without you!
