Working with Dana Kae has been incredible from the very beginning—and even after the wedding, she continues to be amazing. After our initial consultation, I knew immediately that I...
wanted her to be our photographer. She was warm, friendly, and professional. Leading up to the big day, she was thorough and communicative, making sure we were always on the same page.
During the wedding, she was wonderful with our family, friends, and even our dog—everyone adored her. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and somehow made the whole experience fun. When we received our photos, my husband and I were speechless. She captured every feeling and memory so beautifully; I’m still in awe.
We’re now working with her on our wedding album, and she continues to be an absolute joy to collaborate with. I can’t recommend her enough—her photos are truly memories we will treasure for a lifetime.
I would absolutely recommend Dana without hesitation! She captured our wedding in exactly the storytelling way we had envisioned. I'm an amateur photographer who occasionally takes...
landscape and portrait photos, so I had one hard requirement when searching for a wedding photographer: the photos had to feel real and alive. By 'real,' I mean that the photos should help me remember the moment — reminding me of what I was feeling, thinking, and experiencing. And by 'alive,' I wanted the photos’ editing and tones to express emotions on their own.
When we received Dana's photos, I could feel that they were special. The images brought me back to moments like how nervous I was while reading my private vows to my wife, the joy radiating from her face that day, and the wild, carefree energy of our family and friends on the dance floor. Dana’s editing added another layer to the photos, giving them a soft, cinematic feel with a great balance of light and tone. It really felt like looking back on our wedding day in motion.
Although we didn’t have a large budget, Dana exceeded our expectations and delivered stunning work that truly captured the essence of our day. We’re so grateful for her talent, professionalism, and the care she put into every shot. We couldn't be more thankful for the memories she’s given us.
My new husband and I had a great experience with Dana! She's such a lovely and warm person, really made us feel comfortable being photographed. The photos came out great and I love...
d that you can get a shareable link for others on her site.
We started with an intro video call talking about the vibes we like, timing, and general plans. It was a nice time to meet Dana before the day. Showed up timely for our booked time and helped us with some cool picture ideas. The photos were a nice mixture of black&white and color with lots of options for similar poses so we could pick which we liked the most!
Dana's photography services for our wedding photography were OUTSTANDING. She was so great to work with - listened to our goals and personal requests and delivered. Our photos were...
beautifully executed and captured all of the different views we were hoping to get. When we were out taking photos, she even found a few shots live we hadn't considered that were some of our favorites. She truly has an eye and skill to make your wedding day magical.
Hiring Dana Kae as your photographer will be one of the best decisions you make! Dana made everything about our wedding photography experience absolutely amazing. We only had a cou...
ple of months to plan our wedding, and my husband and I were having a difficult time finding a photographer who understood our vision. When we came across Dana's portfolio, we immediately knew she was special. She has an incredibly artistic eye and skilled ability to capture intimacy and romance. She met with us over Zoom to discuss our preferences, and was wonderful at putting us at ease and getting a feel for what we were looking for in photos. Her communication was excellent throughout the planning process and she helped us clarify a photo time-line so that we could be sure to get all the shots and moments we wanted to capture. When the Wedding day arrived, Dana was a superstar---she was everywhere she needed to be at the right moments, helping to arrange magical shots, without ever feeling like she was taking away from the intimacy of our special day. She has an incredible ability to help everyone feel comfortable and brings out the natural joy and laughter when getting group/family portraits. We also had a storm blowing through, and she expertly timed the perfect moments to capitalize on sun-breakthroughs and a gorgeous sunset. We were beyond pleased with the photos she captured! They are beautifully artistic and full of heart. They were also displayed for us to view in a lovely private online gallery we were able to share with family. I absolutely recommend Dana if you want a seamless wedding photography experience!!

fortable and at ease in front of the camera. She is super cool and it was so fun working with her. Multiple guests told us how great our photographer is throughout the day. AND she stayed well passed her scheduled time because there was possibly going to be northern lights later in the evening. She volunteered to do this!

Amazing wedding and a very happy bride and groom thanks to all the memories from the great pictures taken by Dana!
Don't take any chances when it comes to documenting your big day. You only get one chance to capture each of these special moments, make sure Dana is behind that camera.

Dana Kae did a fabulous job. She’s a consummate professional who captured the bride’s beauty and the wedding’s charm and elegance. Highly recommend.

to be there which was contagious and helped make picture taking extra fun and stress-free.
She also went above and beyond when it came to working with and chatting with the guests, and she was quick to lend a hand when something unexpected came up outside of the usual realm of responsibilities for a photographer.
We hired Dana Kae for our boudoir, engagement, and wedding photography, in that order, after reviewing her portfolio, and could not be happier that we did. We were surprised with h...
ow much fun we had during the boudoir photoshoot and how much at ease we felt, all courtesy of Dana's efforts. She was clearly enjoying the work and made it look easy. We loved the pictures - she saw a side of us that we have not seen before and allowed us to see ourselves in different light - hot, fun, and playful when we are usually exhausted from overworking and stressed out.
For the engagement photoshoot that immediately followed, she managed to catch the perfect color of the sky after sunset over the mountains and lake, and the pictures look like a fairytale.
For our wedding, Dana was more than a photographer, but also doubled as a part-time wedding-planner (we did not have one). Since we were a bit lost about how to organize the schedule, she kindly put one together for us, and it worked perfectly. The pictures were very different from the boudoir and engagement shoots but perfectly captured the joy and love of the day and the personalities of our guests.
We cannot recommend Dana more both as a photographer, a logistics specialist, and a wonderful human being that sees and brings out beauty and the best in everyone around her, and then manages to capture it with her camera.

ural. We had such a fun time working with Dana to come up with our shared artistic vision for the pictures. I loved that Dana took so many different shots. She has an amazing eye for lighting and contrast, and for making you feel confident. Our families both told us after our day how much they appreciated the way that she worked. I highly recommend booking Dana for your wedding!
I love Dana! I have loved her work for years - she used to photograph events for my company and took the headshot that I still use, so I did not hesitate to hire her for our weddin...
g! I think we had one call before the wedding and then she just showed up on time ready to go! What you don't realize until your wedding day is that your photographer is part of your entourage - so you want someone who you enjoy being around, that makes you comfortable, and will give you good feedback to make you look your sexiest - Dana is all of the above! She is such a pleasure to work with. I would hire her again for my next wedding, baby shower, boudoir session (my husband and I are too awkward for this, but if anyone could make it happen it's her), headshots. Dana is such a star,

e photos came out looking great! A lot of our photos look very similar, but that is not her fault; we had a very small courthouse wedding and we took photos outside (nearby was a trail with greenery), so there wasn't a lot of options with scenery/background. Overall, Dana is great!

ut Dana was professional, light-hearted, and gracious through this challenging time.
The only thing that was better than Dana's lovely attitude was her natural talents in photography. Not only did she get all the classic wedding must-have photos, but she captured all the candid moments we could never plan for and made our two sets of wedding pictures much more meaningful and memorable.
Dana Kae was the best! We couldn't recommend her more!
Dana Kae was the only vendor at our wedding that was outside our personal network and found online, so we were a little apprehensive. But we didn't need to be.
Dana took amazing ...
photos of us and our guests, and never imposed herself or made the moment about the picture. The images she captured are full of heart and depth, and somehow she managed to take thousands (all of which are frame-worthy). We could not recommend Dana highly enough.

Our wedding was on the beach and of course there was storm! Not only was Dana extremely flexible (we had to move our ceremony up a few hours to get some clearish skies), she was so communicative during the process. I was trying to remain calm through all of this and having her definitely helped.
We got our images back sooner than anticipated and had so many options! It was honestly hard to pick our favorites because they were all so amazing! She gave us so much variety - we were so blown away.
It's only been a few months but I still go through our photos and just relive that day. It was truly special and I'm so glad we had Dana with us for this journey!

iful candid's. She was professional and somehow EVERYwhere but blended in at all times. She captured intimate moments, memorized connections of guests and wedding party to bride and groom, and delivered a stunning and vast set of pictures that bring us right back to our wedding day every time.
15/10 would work with her again!!
Dana Kae was so great to work with!
- She answered any and all questions I had before the wedding.
- She met with me to walk through my wedding day timeline and make suggestions.
...
- She asked me what vibes we were wanting on our photos, to make sure she had an idea of what WE wanted.
- She was very easygoing and flexible the day of the wedding; if anything changed she just went along with it.
- Our photos are GORGEOUS. They are just how I imagined and definitely one of my favorite parts of our day.
I highly recommend Dana Kae to anyone who wants beautiful wedding photos that are unique and NOT corny or gimmicky. The photos are timeless and something I will treasure forever. :)
Dana photographed our intimate wedding in May and I am so happy with our photos! They're the best mix of emotional, goofy, loving, and straight up fun. Dana has a calming presence ...
and a great personality. Two characteristics that I appreciated on a day that can bring chaos and stress. I would recommend Dana to, well, everyone. Thank you for your beautiful work, Dana! Our families will treasure it forever.

moments in my life! I booked her on super short notice for my courthouse wedding, and then later for a private photo shoot. Both times, in addition to doing a beautiful job, she was super easy to work with: she makes you feel really comfortable and is also a great listener when it came to my your input!

livers absolutely stunning photos. The things she does with light are incredible, and she made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On top of that, she is professional, responsive, flexible, and incredibly competitively priced for the Seattle area and the quality of work that she provides. I highly recommend working with Dana!!!

ke hanging out with family. Her calm go-with-the-flow personality made it easy to enjoy what was happening in the moment. Our posed shots were easy, fun and beautiful, but those candid moments that she captured are priceless. There were some truly hilarious moments that we never would have known about!
When our wedding album finally arrived, I cried. It was so beautiful and it brought back all of those lovely memories. In addition to our album, we also ordered a large framed print of my husband and my favorite private moment by the rose hedge on the property. It hangs proudly in our living room and as cheesey as it may sound, it brings me so much joy every time I see it.
Working with Dana was a true pleasure. Her responses were always timely, considerate, and concise. Her quality of work and attention to details were jawdropping. But what solidified her amazingness was she made a stressful day easy, enjoyable, and relaxing for everyone. And as a bride who planned the whole day on her own, Dana was exactly the person I needed to capture it all. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our day.
Dana was incredible from start to finish. We were planning our wedding from across the country so we needed someone who would be able to communicate well over email and phone. Dana...
was super responsive, and even set up a time to meet with us while we were in town, allowing us to make a plan for the day of. On the day of, Dana was all the things you would want a photographer to be: meticulously organized, seemingly everywhere (but in an unintrusive way), and so calming to both me and my partner. When shooting a group, she can manage personalities well and when shooting the couple, she'll put you at ease and get the shots that you really want. And y'all, the pictures are amazing. The work on her website are representative, but I can't begin to tell you how much better it is to see the full gallery she sent us. It was magical. So y'all, if you haven't already, go ahead and send Dana a message. She was incredible for us and I know she'll be the same for you.
