Dana Bartone & Co. Salon and Spa

5 year old flower girl who was nervous about getting her hair done. Very happy with how everything turned out!

g hair/makeup. The whole process was seamless. Leigh Ann at the front desk was always willing to answer questions and was always so nice and attentive. The hair/makeup trial was great because I was able to tweak my wedding day makeup. Kelly was awesome about it, and helped me exceed my vision of my makeup on my wedding day! They are flexible, understanding, and very talented. On the day of the wedding, they arrived right on time and even were accommodating to an unexpected last minute change. They were able to complete 9 hair and 8 makeups in a timely fashion-we were ready to go when we needed to be. Most importantly, the bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom all felt confident and beautiful! Everyone was glowing. I was lucky enough to experience the Dana Barton wedding team for a friend’s wedding which is why I went with them and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much for making my day a dream come true!

email & phone call, I was met with kindness & excitement from Leigh Ann, which continued all throughout the planning process. Sarah & Samar went above & beyond during my hair & makeup trial in order to ensure that both my mom & I were 100% happy with our wedding day looks. On wedding day, Sarah, Samar, Rebecca & Jessica absolutely crushed it - handling hair & makeup for twelve ladies in a timely manner while making sure each woman had a customized experience and was satisfied with how they looked. They brought the good vibes & everybody's hair & makeup lasted all night long! Thank you Dana Bartone ladies for making everything so easy!

ly did my makeup and it was flawless ALL day AND night. It did not move AT ALL. This team really knows what they are doing and my entire bridal party said that it was the best hair and makeup they have had at a wedding. They really took the time to understand what each girl wanted. My mom and mother in law also looked flawless. Thank you ladies so much!!!

nd all the stylists were wonderful and friendly!

working out the details of the contract very easy, straightforward, and stress-free. I worked with Rebecca, who's so talented and nice; she helped make the morning of the wedding fun and relaxing as we got ready. I absolutely loved the way my make-up turned out, and so did my mom and bridesmaids. It helped us all feel our best on the big day. I'm so happy it turned out so beautifully!

ience for me, and I loved it. Would recommend. I also loved having them do my bridesmaid's hair and makeup at the hotel. This made getting ready so much more relaxing. We could hang out while they did their job and not worry. 5 Stars.

rial and made sure we were on the same page about what I was looking for. She was also super flexible on my wedding day when the venue told us we wouldn't be able to access the bridal suite until two hours after our planned start time! Kelly never made us feel rushed, was super friendly, and she NAILED every look. Very happy with her work, flexibility, and attention to detail. I would highly recommend her for your wedding day hair and make up needs!

but their work was flawless. They came to our venue and made the morning so relaxed. Also, huge kudos to them both for taking my various pinterest saves and creating amazing hair/makeup for me, my girls, and our moms that matched everyone but was all cohesive.

hotos and they were accommodating to our requests and turned out beautiful hair and make up. We are so happy we chose Dana Bartone & Co. for our big day!

to my entire bridal party so that we never felt rushed. They were attentive to every detail and made sure that all of us were happy with our final looks (which were stunning!). Most importantly, they were kind, outgoing, and so much fun! The morning of my wedding was calm and stress-free thanks to them! Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Leigh Ann, who helped coordinate and plan from an administrative standpoint. She was very patient and communicative, especially when we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. I had a wonderful experience working with Dana Bartone & Co. and I would highly recommend them!

about my decisions. I had Dana doing me and my girls makeup and my hair and Sarah L. doing all my girls hair. Their work was exceptional! Dana truly made me feel at ease leading up to the day and throughout our whole morning together getting ready. She is such a positive person to have around when you may feel anxious or worried about little details the day of! Leading up the wedding, I also started going to get monthly Hydrafacials with Wondeline at the salon and spa. I highly recommend utilizing their in house facial treatments the few months leading up to the big day, my skin never looked better than on my wedding day! If you are looking for someone with experience, professionalism, kindness and knowledge of the industry, look no further than this salon!

were so extremely kind, and amazing to work with during my trial helping me through my nerves. For my big day, they were absolutely incredible. They gave me the hair and makeup of my dreams for myself and for my bridal party. They also helped to make the day fun and relaxing, since they were with us from 8am - 2. Absolutely book them, you will not regret it!

g all night long. These ladies are just so professional and so friendly, I'm so glad they were a part of my wedding day. They were so good at emphasizing your natural beauty and really working with you to help you look exactly the way you want. Both my makeup and hair didn't move a BIT all night long - I was so shocked! This salon was such a good find, I absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone on their wedding day!!

uple days before the wedding, which worked out great! It was even better than doing it months ahead of time as everything was fresh in our memories. Leanne was great with the back and forth trying to accommodate my schedule. Lauren and Kelly did a fantastic job with my hair and make up. They showed up a little early on the morning of the wedding and we finished way ahead of schedule! Kelly even added hair and make up for one of my bridesmaids who wasn't originally contracted for hair and make up, as we were running so early. Lauren and Kelly were fantastic, so easy to work with, and everyone looked beautiful!

get ready location and worked with me to determine her start time. We settled on 530am and she even offered to grab coffee for everyone which was so sweet and unexpected!! Sara asked for pictures of what everyone wanted and was able to recreate it perfectly! Unfortunately, one of my people did not make it to the wedding so she didn't need her hair done and one member's hair took much less time and effort than I was charged for -- Sara assured me that she would let the company know so I could be refunded the payment. For the company I can only give a 2/5. I reached out to Dana Bartone and Company last minute after forgetting to book someone to do my hair (I completely understand that was on me). They were very quick to respond about when my wedding was and how many people needed to be styled. They sent over the contract with minimum pricing for a bridal style and 3 additional people and I was charged immediately (I was told I had to pay full price up front due to last minute booking - again, I understood). However, I was not asked what type of hairstyles myself or my 3 people were getting - therefore I didn't feel that the pricing was necessarily accurate. Since the wedding I have tried to reach out to Dana Bartone and Company both via email and phone inquiring about the status of my refund and I have yet to receive a response. It's a little disheartening and feels like they are only in it for the money.

ts and makeup artists did such an amazing job. They were super sweet, accommodating, and down to earth. I highly recommend having them help with your upcoming wedding or event. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could but that’s what I’m capped at. A HUGe shout out to Lauren who made my hair trial and wedding day so memorable.

s my main hairstylist, Jazmin was my main makeup artist, and Christina was the swing artist - meaning she did both hair and makeup for my party. They were so easy to work with regarding timing and showed up when they were supposed to. They made the small space I had in my home work beautifully and finished everyone ahead of schedule, they're true pros! My makeup looked beautiful despite sobbing during my first look with my dad and my hair stayed in place (without hurting! I have a sensitive scalp) the entire night! I can't recommend them enough and will cherish my wedding photos forever, in part due to their beautiful work. Thank you ladies!! xoxo

t through 6 hair and 6 make up services ahead of schedule, which lasted through a 12 hour day (we had a large gap between ceremony and reception). I am very picky and they worked with me to create the bridal look I always dreamed of for myself. I could not say enough nice things about this team!

up to the wedding, Leigh Ann from the salon was easy to work with and accommodating when I needed to add extra services just 2 weeks before the wedding. On the day of, Jazmin and Lauren kept the entire group calm and were able to flawlessly execute the hairstyles and makeup visions that all the ladies wanted. Jazmin did an incredible braid for my flower girl which, looking at the photo, I thought was impossible! Jazmin also accommodated a day-of makeup addition (my aunt) without even batting an eyelash. I had done a hair and makeup trial that I thought was incredible, but they both went above and beyond on the day of. It was a pleasure to work with the women from Dana Bartone salon - I can't recommend them enough!

ll of us to make sure we loved our look. I highly recommend her!

en for hair and Jazmin for makeup is an unbeatable team! I hope to have my hair and makeup done by them again!

some feedback after and they were open to changes and fine with me getting a little picky. I changed around a few of the services we wanted closer to the date (I had 11 women getting ready with me) and Dana got right on the phone with me to work it out and put my worries at ease. Day of, Lauren, Jazmin, Patty and Christina worked perfectly like a beauty machine. Even with my cousin who completely wanted her hair re-done and my mom who tried airbrush make up and then changed her mind or my sister who wanted something done she couldn’t describe — All the artists responded politely, patiently, and wanted each woman to feel confident and beautiful. We were ready on time if not ahead of schedule and I am beyond thrilled with my experience working with them!

n time, and made sure every detail was perfect. They were professional and friendly. The only reason my rating is not 5 stars is because my mother got a blow-out and her hair had never been more flat. Fortunately, we asked them to fix it with more volume, and they added some curls free of charge. It looked much better after that.

wanted... i didn’t think I would find the perfect hair style but after working with her I knew if anyone could do it she could- and it was even better than I imagined... my make up was flawless and I loved going to the salon... they were so great I now use them as my salon ❤️❤️❤️

h the finished product, but I loved it when I was a bridesmaid, and they did not disappoint for me when I was a bride! The pricing for the bride was a little steep (as expected), but I thought the pricing for the bridesmaids were more than fair. They even traveled 80 miles to my venue, which really meant a lot. Everyone's hair and makeup came out stunning, and they did not rush through any of the services. They stayed with us until everyone looked perfect!

wless on their special day. They take the time to listen to exactly what you're looking for and perfectly create your hair and makeup around that. They are true masters at their craft. I still cannot get over how amazing I looked on my wedding day! They even seamlessly fit in to our day of getting ready, laughing and dancing along with us and made the entire process so much fun (literally ZERO stress). Thank you Lauren and Dana for everything you did to make me and my party look flawless. You truly have made a fan for life!

, warm and friendly, they are also total experts in their craft. My personal experience began with an extremely accommodating scheduling process for a trial. I arrived to find a small, intimate and completely welcoming Salon. I walked into a genuinely friendly greeting from the receptionist, and then Dana made it a point to introduce herself. While I hadn’t planned on meeting her, I was happy to. I was assigned to Jazmin, which turned out to very fortunate for me. She was amazing. She has a great personality, is an excellent listener and always stayed completely focused on getting things perfect. I left that trial with the make-up and hair that I asked for. She got it exactly right – all in the first go round. Jazmin made the experience painless and stress-free then and afterwards with timely responses to my emailed questions. On my wedding day she showed up right on time with a big smile and a ton of product. While she was only scheduled to take care of me she was completely ready for any last minute additions. Being familiar with Jazmin and comfortable with her, hair and make-up on my wedding day was smooth sailing. She replicated what we had approved at the trial, working quickly and calmly and with a couple of laughs during the process. Overall, I highly recommend Dana Bartone & Company as a bridal hair & make-up salon. I can’t say enough good things about Jazmin. She is talented, sincere and respects the role she plays in your special day, but most importantly, she really cares. It was a pleasure to meet and work with her.

happier with how I looked for my wedding - just like I always dreamed! Everyone at the salon was lovely and professional, and treated us like royalty. I know that brides are always besieged with compliments, but seriously, everyone kept telling me how perfect I looked. And anyone that sees my pictures always comments specifically about how great the makeup is and how they love my hair. Everything held up very well too, even on an extremely hot day with an outdoor venue! Thank you for making me look and feel so beautiful!!

eces and had Sara, Jazmin and Lauren on the day of for hair/make up and all 4 of these women were incredible! Suzanne was so easy to work with and made sure payments, appointments, etc. were all squared away to keep everything as organized as possible. My mom and I had the pleasure of meeting Sara and Jazmin a few months before the wedding for our hair and makeup trials and they were so lovely and made the process so much fun! Sara did my makeup and Jazmin did both of our hair and everything looked even better that we could have imagined. We gave them some ideas and they just ran with it. The day of the wedding was the most organized set up I could have ever imagined. Sara, Jazmin and Lauren had the timing down perfectly for each girl, as they knew we were on a tight schedule, but it never felt rushed. They kept the morning fun and made all of the girls look stunning. My hair and makeup on the day of the wedding looked just as perfect as it did in the trial and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It also stayed put through all of the tears and the long night of celebrating. It looked flawless in person and in photos and I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone in need of hair and/or makeup services! Thank you for making us look and feel beautiful!

tell instantly at my hair trial that she was going to do an amazing job! She was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, and on the day of my wedding, she made sure that I felt very comfortable and that every detail was PERFECT! My hair was so amazing and better than anything I ever imagined! My bridal party also said that she was one of the best hair stylists they've ever had at a wedding!! If you're looking for a very talented, professional, and just overall amazing person, I highly recommend Lauren and Dana Bartone & Co!!!

tire wedding planning process. I ended up having three separate makeup trials due to artist cancellations and Dana set up the new makeup artist immediately without me even having to lift a finger. Lauren did my hair and it came out even better than my trial and was exactly what I had dreamed of. Overall, my hair and makeup team made the day so special and put any stress I had at ease. I would 200% recommend anyone to use them for their wedding!

with the way our hair and makeup turned out! Lauren was our main hair stylist (she did my trial as well) and was perfect! She was responsive to my e-mails about ideas for my hair, took the reigns after I showed her some pictures of a TON of hairstyles I was interested in and came up with the perfect hairstyle for me! Marisa was our second hairstylist for the day and perfectly executed all of the hair styles that the bridesmaids came to her with! My future sister-in-law (my brother's fiancee) said that she has never been happier with the way her hair was styled! They are considering using Dana Bartone & Co. for their wedding in October! Dana was our make-up artist and we could not have asked for a more flexible, wonderful, talented artist! She knew exactly what each person needed to make them look even more beautiful than they already did :) Even when I asked for an extra step of highlighting, she did everything perfectly to the last step! 100% recommend!

d her specifically the following Monday for her wedding in October 2018! The team is so creative and fun, they listened to each girl and made them look beautiful. Loved working with Dana Bartone & Co.!

essional. But most importantly, our hair/make up looked outstanding and they were efficient. We were done right on time and no one felt rushed or stressed. As the bride, I did like that they charged me more for my styles. I did not want my bridesmaids to break the bank! Highly recommend them!!!!

bout how awesome we all looked. Lauren and Angela were very professional, showed up on time, were done on time and there were absolutely no issues from beginning to end . I loved my hair so much that I changed salons entirely and will only trust Lauren with my hair from here out! Truly amazing work and the prices are very reasonable for the services.

ssional and personal. My sister used Dana Bartone for her October 2016 wedding and I called a few days later to book the same 3 talented women for my wedding on July 22, 2017. Lauren, Angela and Jazmin set the tone for the whole wedding day. They are calm, friendly, and flexible. There were 10 of us for hair and makeup and they made every person feel so beautiful. There was no rushing or stress. As for my bridal hair and makeup, I was unsure of what exactly I wanted. Lauren and Angela worked with me at my trial to create a look that was so perfect. On the day of the wedding, they tailored the look to my preferences and I was so happy with the result. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. I wish I could have them as my Glam Squad every morning! Thank you Dana Bartone for the classic, beautiful looks you created on our wedding day!

one looked perfect. My artists listened to my feedback from the trials, and the results were fantastic! They were timely, accommodating, and really creative in their styling. I would highly recommend booking through Dana Bartone - their artists are top notch!

makeup it didn't take me long to make up my mind. Patty and Angela were not only amazing at what they did, they were so lovely to spend time with during the day. I did a hair trial a few months earlier with Patty, and it was smooth and pleasant- we played around with my ideas and came up with something perfect. I didn't get a makeup trial because I had previously gotten just makeup done with them at my friends wedding. My hair and makeup was exactly what I had asked for. Patty made it super secure, it lastest all day (even with a sprinkle of rain and without a hairspray touch up!). Angela asked a few questions, and jumped right in, knew exactly what to do, and made me look like the best version of myself. Now I even have a new favorite lipstick! My makeup lasted all day as well with just a few lip touch ups after eating and drinking. These two were awesome and we even had time to squeeze in one more person for makeup since we were so ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company and Patty and Angela. The booking process was clear and smooth, everyone I talked to was so welcoming and wonderful. I never felt more beautiful!

eup on my wedding day. She and her team are incredibly versatile, so regardless of what you’re trying to achieve, I don’t think you can go wrong if you work with them.

for everyone. They were very efficient - everyone was ready to go on time (a little early even!) and we all felt beautiful!! I had asked if someone could stay a little late and follow us to the venue for touch-ups. Jazmin came with us and went above and beyond -- we ran very behind schedule with the photographer (because I tried to squeeze to much in) and Jazmin was such a trooper, staying much later than planned to make sure we all looked and felt beautiful for every shot! The whole team was terrific and we had a lot of fun working with them, but someone staying hours longer than expected, and with such a great attitude, really shows how much they care about making your special day perfect... I couldn't have asked for more!!!

idn't have my own stylist in state, so I read plenty of reviews. I booked a company close to my venue, but had uneasy feelings that they were just not the right company for me and my bridal party. I came across Dana Bartone & Co after following one of their stylists on Instagram. I immediately contacted them and spoke with the most kind woman on the phone. I figured I would give them a shot. I booked a trial appointment with my mom for hair and makeup. My mom traveled 3 hours to CT for the trial appointment. Literally 30 minutes before the appointment we got a call that the hair stylist came down with the flu. I was bummed!! We decided to go to the trial anyways to have our makeup done. When we arrived, we were met by the most kind and funny woman, Laura. She sat me down and started my makeup, asking for picture suggestions. She absolutely nailed it!! She did everything I asked for- and everything I didn't know I wanted. About 5 minutes later, the owner, Dana came in. She said she was not scheduled to work, but heard that our hair stylist was sick, so she came in to do the hair trial herself. Talk about incredible customer service!!! Dana did a hair trial for both my mom and I to help us get an idea of what we wanted. She took detailed photos to give to the stylist who would do my hair the morning of the wedding. The best part of booking with Dana's company was that they traveled to my home the morning of the wedding. This made everything so easy. The team (Laura, Lauren, and Annya) showed up at 8am. First of all, they were SO FUN to be around. They joked with us, and made me feel so calm. They paid close attention to every hair and makeup detail. I (and my girls) have never felt so beautiful. And if this review hasn't quite convinced you- TWO of my bridesmaids have since booked with Dana Bartone for their upcoming weddings. Ive since made Dana Bartone my new salon and get so excited to visit their incredible staff.

la stuck around to allow the photographer to get 'getting ready' shots as well. They were easy to work with, professional and a lot of fun. I loved how I looked on the day of the wedding, as did the bridesmaids and Moms and my hair and makeup looked amazing, even at the after party. The trial was great as well, Laura and Angela allowed me to try out several looks so I could choose the one I liked best. I would definitely recommend them.

weet. Patty did my hair, my mother's hair, and 6 of my bridesmaids hair. Sara did my makeup and 7 of my bridesmaids makeup. They were both prompt and so professional when they arrived in my hotel room the morning of my wedding. When I looked at myself, I could not believe it was me. All I can say was WOW! My makeup and hair looked absolutely amazing! I felt like a movie star and that's an understatement. My hair held up all night and my makeup looked flawless even after the night was over! Thank you, so much to Dana Bartone and Co.! They are fantastic and I would highly recommend the salon to any bride looking for beauty services on their special day!! They exceed all expectations!

tle unsure as to how I would like their work. Let me tell you, the minute I had my trials, I knew I had made the right decision! Angela listened to what I was looking for, and followed through completely, I loved my trial, and it held up all day on a very hot and humid day. Patty also did an amazing job on my trial. When it came time to the morning of my wedding, Patty and Angela arrived right on time and got to work quickly. They did hair and makeup for my whole bridal party and my mom and husband's mom, as well as hair for our two flower girls. They were professional, very sweet and finished early! Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and looked stunning. I got many compliments on my look that day, and I felt so beautiful!! I would highly recommend booking Angela and Patty for your wedding!
