DJ Dan Quinn isn’t just a “wedding DJ.”
He is a professional, and passionate artist who takes the time to learn each client’s personality and preferences, creating a unique experi...
ence that truly sets him apart in the industry.
From the moment we met Dan, we were impressed. He was energetic, inviting, and genuinely interested in getting to know us. His questions went far beyond the typical “What’s your favorite song?” Instead, he asked detailed questions about our backgrounds, families, and the emotional connections we had to certain songs and genres. Dan is also well-known in the DFW area—he personally knew each of our vendors, which added an extra layer of comfortability and friendliness. We truly sat back on our wedding day and watched it all come together seamlessly!
On the night of our wedding, I don’t think we expected that level of performance. Of course, we had faith in Dan and his team, but seeing everything come together so perfectly was honestly incredible. From the cyro guns, to the lighting, and of course, his chic, custom DJ booth, Dan’s set up alone separates him from the competition and demonstrates his expertise. It goes without saying that music and entertainment are a HUGE aspect of every wedding, and arguably one of the most important decisions a Bride and Groom will make. Dan did an excellent job catering to our wants and we are so thankful that we picked someone who exceeded all of our expectations.
All night, and even now, weeks after the wedding, people still come up to us to complement our DJ. In fact, throughout the entire 2½ hours of dancing (which is longer than average), not one person left the dance floor. People even expressed not wanting to get another drink because they didn’t want to lose their spot! It stayed packed all night, and that was all thanks to Dan’s vision, execution, and ability to read the audience.
If you’re looking for a next-level DJ experience that will keep guests talking about your event, there is no better choice than Dan Quinn Entertainment. We will always be grateful for our classy rager and the friendship we built with Dan along the planning process. We miss it so much!

My husband and I are so grateful that we had Dan DJ our wedding after party! Dan really took the time to learn about our musical preferences, the guests who would be attending the ...
wedding, and the type of environment we hoped to create. With lights, C02 machines, and setlist customized to us, it was exactly what we asked for. Dan brought great energy, creativity, and a clear love for music to every meeting. He recommended tons of cool mashups and mixes of songs we love to make the party truly exceptional. He also had a phenomenal recommendation for our band which got our guests on the dance floor before the after party. Even our vendors mentioned they love working with Dan because he's great at what he does! Absolutely recommend!
I want to start by saying Dan was amazing during our wedding! We had a snow storm come through the day before and he showed up, kept the party going through lots a no show guests, ...
and was flexible with schedule changes and chaos during the day. He is great at what he does and very knowledgeable about DJing and weddings!! The only thing I would recommend is to be on the same page with your partner and wedding planner before meeting with him. There were a couple instances where I felt a little dismissed with what we wanted, being told we should do something a certain way when my planner and I had planned for something else. My planner had to step in a few times to make it clear that we had a well thought out schedule when Dan tried to make a new day of timeline for us and basically told us we were making the wrong choices with music I wanted for our cocktail hour and dinner. I appreciate that he has A LOT of experience in the wedding industry and that is probably very helpful for many people. It was just a bit frustrating to feel undermined when I had a very experienced planner handling everything. Overall, I would recommend Dan as a DJ and we had a positive experience. Just make sure you are firm on what you want, everyone wants to have the day of your dreams when you’re paying this much for a vendor.
HOLY MOLY! What a party! Dan was the highlight of our entire wedding, besides saying "I do", of course. From start to finish, you can tell how seriously Dan takes his work and how ...
much he loves to serve his clients. We never once felt like we weren't taken care of or in good hands. The dance floor was full the whole night, just as we had hoped for. His presence was so much fun and he knows how to create the perfect mix for your personality and preferences. We are just waiting to find another excuse to hire Dan for another big event! Best night ever, best DJ ever!
Dan's attention to detail to unmatched. The way he truly wants to tell your story and make your night personalized to you cannot be overstated. Dan will be the playmaker of your dr...
eam team because he knows the practical logistics of how to throw a seamless wedding day. He will connect with your crowd's energy and show them a great time. Definitely worth the investment
Literally can't say enough about how amazing a DJ Dan is. He was so communicative during the entire planning process (and two COVID postponements), always attentive, and totally u...
nderstood the vibe we were going for at our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night long and we had tons of people approaching us and saying how fantastic he was. If you need a wedding DJ, choose Dan! I promise you will not regret it!
Dan really set our wedding apart from others. In my first meeting with Dan I told him I wanted my wedding to be unique and different than everyone else’s and he really delivered. F...
rom the cryogen guns to the uplighting to making our day of timeline, it was perfect. Worth every penny. Such a pleasant experience. 🤍
My daughter got married last night and Dan was our DJ. I have 3 pieces of advice if you are considering Dan. Hire him, hire him and hire him. He is amazing and can really get t...
he crowd going. He does his homework and creates a playlist specific to each couple. He had the dance floor full from song one until the very end. I had so many people come up to me and sing Dan's praises that I lost count. I promise, you will not be disappointed if you use Dan for your wedding or event. Plus, if the budget allows, he has a lighting package that is a beautiful and fun backdrop to the reception. During dinner the lighting was soft and sophisticated but once the music started it was fun and funky. The bride and groom are already trying to figure out some other event they can have just so they can hire Dan. My daughter is pandemic bride so we ended up having to reschedule and wait almost 2.5 years to have our wedding. It was worth the wait
Hire Dan! Dan is incredibly organized, easy to work with and TALENTED! He did an amazing job at our wedding from detailed ceremony music to reception music and everything was artis...
tically executed!! Also hire his saxaphonist, Marquise! They are the most incredible duo and you will be pleased!!
THE BEST DJ IN THE GAME! There aren't enough words to express our gratitude and love for Dan. He listened to exactly what we wanted, provided helpful tips, and gave us the most PER...
FECT playlist. My husband and I had the time of our lives, as did our guests.
A little background about our day: We had to postpone our original date due to a COVID exposure within 2 weeks of our wedding day. Not only were we devastated, but our original DJ wasn't available for our new date. Dan was our saving grace - he helped us find a renewed excitement for our new date.
Shortly after we were married, we found out we were pregnant. After Dan found out, he sent us a book to read to our sweet girl! I mean, what other DJ does that?! Dan genuinely cares for his clients - before, during, and after the wedding day. We just hope he is still in the game when it is time for our daughter to get married!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ DAN!!
This guy!!!! He is top notch. From our first meeting with Dan, we could immediately tell that he genuinely loves and is passionate about what he does. He cares about the couple and...
wanted to get to know us on a personal level. By getting the chance to talk and hang out with Dan, he developed a personal plan for our wedding! We were so so excited to watch him and enjoy his work at our wedding. He was thorough- went out of his way to visit our venue to feel comfortable and prepared for the best set up. Needless to say, HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Everything he did was perfect. (Also he was extremely generous as we had to go with our plan B inside. He added extras to help since it wasn't our original plan, but thanks to Dan- it exceeded every expectation we had and was better than our plan A.)
Now, to the dance party: WOW. We had multiple guests talk to us after the wedding RAVING about Dan. He threw a party that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Everyone had a blast and was so tired because there was never the wrong song that lost the crowd. He got people out to the dance floor who when we said hi during dinner they even said they don't dance at weddings. I mean that takes pure talent! One of our favorite things about Dan was how happy and excited he was the entire time (& how he danced from his booth- living the party!!!).
HIRE THIS MAN! Dan was incredible to work with and he made our wedding reception one to remember! From the moment we met with him, we knew he would be able to deliver. He paid atte...
ntion to mine and my husband’s tastes in music, and he even gave a special shout out to my mom (who’s 60TH birthday was the night before our wedding!) and that made her feel incredible. He is also incredible at reading the room and figuring out which music will best suit the mood!
My personal favorite part was when my husband and I were allowed to go behind the DJ booth and shoot the cryo gun, it was the perfect added touch that really set off the party! 10/10, cannot recommend Dan enough!!
Dan CRUSHED it. Couldn’t tell you how many people told us it was the most fun wedding they have been to. Absolute blast!
As an owner of an event venue in Fort Worth, I see a lot of DJs in my space. The second I got engaged I knew I wanted Dan as my DJ! Dan is incredible, he takes time to sit down an...
d discuss your music likings, what you want played the day of your wedding and what you don't want played! He truly cares about this couples! He sang as guests were arriving to our ceremony, he has a gorgeous voice. He also helped us cut down songs for our first dance, father/daughter and mother/son. He kept our dance floor PACKED the all night and the way he mixed our music was unbelievable! We received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS about how awesome, badass and amazing our DJ was! You will not be disappointed booking Dan as your DJ! He is truly one of the best DJ's in DFW!
What can I say – Dan is the MAN! Dan is one of the most hard-working DJs in the wedding industry. He absolutely went above and beyond in every capacity to make sure we had the most...
amazing day. He took several hours to sit down and get to know my husband and I as a couple, along with asking questions about our families, our wedding party, and our guests. He learned about our likes and dislikes for music and took notes on specific moments that we knew were important to us throughout the night. By doing so, he was able to MC the reception without forgetting any names or other hiccups and still allowing the night to flow into an unbelievable dance party. As soon as Dan opened the dance floor, it was a NON-STOP party the entire night. Dan is the best hype man, kindest friend, and a wedding vendor you definitely want in your corner. Thank you for EVERYTHING Dan, we are so grateful for you!
Can't say enough good things about Dan. From the moment we contacted him about our wedding, we knew we had made the right decision. He is amazing, a super talented musician, great ...
DJ and just a tremendous person as well. He really took the time to get to know us, learn about our background, our families and friends and really went far and above to customize the whole experience for us. Not only that but he is incredibly organized, laying out the timeline for our big day in great detail and making sure everything went according to plan on the big day. Just to let you know how versatile he is he did a playlist for our first look, played and sang before the ceremony, had a separate setup for the cocktail hour and then played during the dinner and DJ and MC for the reception. We are so happy he was part of our celebration, we wouldn't have had it any other way. I would recommend him to searching out there, you won't regret hiring him.
If you're looking for a DJ, just stop right now and hire Dan. He is the best! Period. I used to dj weddings for almost 15 years and I hired Dan on the spot. I knew the minute ...
we talked that he understood what needed to be done and could deliver. And boy did he ever! He came through big time. From creating a vision, to getting to know our families, to creating a vibe for the day, he did it all. He even came through ultra clutch when I left my bowtie at home. He had an extra one in the car! THAT is how on top of the game he is.
I will also comment on his setup and presentation, it is very high end. I'm a gear snob and Dan totally nails it. He is first class all the way.
You want a guaranteed good time, Dan is the man.
P.S. When he asks you if you want a CO2 cannon, say yes!
DQB Entertainment made our whole night! We met Dan at an open house at our venue, Dove Ridge Vineyard. We instantly hit it off with him and his assistant, Taylor. From setting up a...
specific day of timeline, to taking the time to get to know each person in our bridal party and family, our experience with Dan was so detailed and personal. Dan specifically tailored music and songs that were important to us and our friends. We unfortunately had to plan our wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic and Dan frequently checked in on us to see how we were doing and made sure we were taken care of. On the day of, we had to make a last second change and add ceremony sound and without question Dan jumped in and helped us. When it came to the reception, Dan made it a party! Some of my favorite memories of my wedding were getting to dance with my friends, getting a chance to use the mic and sing “don’t stop believing”, and getting to do TikTok dances at the end. Dan was very good at reading the room and tailoring the music to the audience. At the beginning of our reception we had a heavy older crowd present, but towards the end it was mainly younger people. He was able to match the music appropriately and by the end was even taking requests to make the party even better. I had several friends come up to me and say he was one of the best DJ’s they had ever seen at a wedding. He also has a very professional set-up with his own custom white DJ booth that was such an elegant touch to our venue space. He also was dressed very nicely and conducted himself in a very professional way. Dan was one of the best features at our wedding, and created memories for my husband and I, we will never forget! Book Dan, you will not regret it!
Dan is amazing! My mom had attended a wedding that he was the DJ at and she said it was the best party reception she had ever been to! I knew that is exactly the vibe that I wanted...
at my wedding and Dan definitely delivered. He met with my husband and I before the wedding to get to know us as a couple and to learn how he could make our wedding personal to us. Dan had everyone dancing all night long. The flow was amazing and we had so many compliments on how great our DJ was. If you are looking for an amazing DJ for your wedding or any special occasion, I definitely recommend Dan with DQB Entertainment!
Dan is not just a DJ, he is truly a jack of all trades. We fell in love with him while he was playing at a local bar. When we found out his passion is being a DJ and that he loves...
performing at weddings.. we jumped at the opportunity to meet with him. Meeting your DJ (in Dan’s case artist - i promise you he does it all) can be nerve racking and daunting - because music truly makes a wedding. But 2 minutes into our first wedding “meeting” with him, we knew we had hit the jackpot. He listens and takes to heart every request, but does not ask anything else from you. It was like talking with a good friend while drinking beer. I didn’t have much doubt that he would be awesome at our wedding.... But I promise you, he exceeded expectations. From playing the guitar and singing while my wife walked down the aisle, to the lights, smoke and of course music at the reception - everything was way beyond what we could have dreamed of. I promise, you he is the best DJ/artist you could possibly book for a wedding. You better believe that when he is playing a local gig, we will be there. I cannot wait to follow his career for years. Like I said, he truly is a Jack of All Trades
DAN! Where do I even begin? The biggest thing I always dreamed about for my wedding was to have an amazing wedding...and we got that times SO MUCH MORE! From singing and playing as...
I walked down the aisle to tearing it up behind the booth with the best songs & mixes, lights and cryo machine, you killed it at EVERYTHING. You have no idea how amazing you really are! Thank you so much for making our wedding so amazing. We are not losing touch just because the wedding is over!! Keep crushing it!

d. Everyone enjoyed his live music performance during dinner and they were all dancing in their seats. Afterwards, everyone hit the dance floor and didn't stop for 2+ hour! Thank you Dan for making our wedding a great experience!

ifficult but the second I found Dan I was instantly at ease. You can tell after speaking with Dan that he truly loves what he does and that shines through in every aspect of his work. He took time to get to know me and my husband and was so caring throughout the entire process. I feel lucky to have met Dan and had the privilege of having him at our wedding. Make sure Dan is part of your team, it will be one of the best decisions you make during wedding planning!

g the perfect lighting, organizing our music timeline, placing the speakers perfectly to avoid blowing everyone’s ears out in a very tricky space, and even singing specifically requested songs for us during dinner, the night was perfect. He made sure to get to know us through multiple planning meetings and didn’t mess up one single name (he even had our flower girls down!) which is not the case for every wedding we have attended. Dan was such a great vendor to work with and he even felt more like a friend by the time our big day came around. We had many guests ask us who he was because they were so impressed. From first entrance to the end of the night he guided our wedding with the perfect balance of fun and seriousness. He never let the dance floor die down and everyone had a blast. Couldn’t have been a more magical night.
Hey yall! If you want someone who can play acoustic guitar, sing amazing, and then get everyone on the dance floor, Dan is your guy! I got SO many compliments on his live playing ...
during the ceremony and cocktail hour and everyone was dancing the whole night. He met with us three times and truly learned what we thought our guests would like. I can't tell you how much I would recommend Dan for your wedding!

m a pile of contacts at our venue and we couldn't be happier! From the very first time we met with Dan and started talking about our event he was on top of it, giving us ideas and writing down our ideas and getting to know us. Over the months before the big day he stayed in touch, just checking up on us from time to time, always responded to our emails, and was super easy to work with among all the other planning going on. Finally the big day is here, Dan made sure to be there early so he could be apart of the final rehearsals and have plenty of time to set up and be ready for the evening! He knew my husband and I were out of town and went out of his way to get a special tie of my husband's favorite team and wore it for the night, it was perfect, and at the end of the night he even gave my husband the tie to keep!!! It was so sweet and awesome!!! He played live music during the dinner, probably my favorite part, it was so personal and really nice to be able to enjoy dinner and listen to the live music. My family isnt a huge dancing family and Dan was able to get everyone up and dancing and having a great time, it was so amazing! He even had people who don't like each other up and dancing together. It was such a special night and Dan was a huge part of making it so special. If we have any other events, Dan will 100% be my choice of entertainment. He was so professional and it was so much fun, we couldn't have asked for a nicer guy to be apart of our wedding.
Dan was AMAZING!!!! He began playing awesome music while setting up, so while we were getting ready we were dancing!!! He sang live for us during dinner and was Awesome, played al...

e dance music, sing-alongs, and even a little bit of country. Our dance floor was always full and the party never stopped!
Dan was a big part of our planning every step of the way. He thought of things we would have never thought of ourselves and kept our reception running smoothly and on time. He also visited our reception space with us to make sure he had the perfect setup for our big day. We really couldn’t have done it without him!
Thanks for being the BEST DJ for our wedding! If you’re thinking about booking Dan, we can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!

ous he was personable, thoughtful, and very clearly cared about creating amazing memories for us over simply doing a job. He worked to figure out what made us, us, and then was sure to tie those unique qualities into the style of our wedding. He was organized, had a plan, and ended up keeping our friends and family on the dance floor until the very end (which trust us, this is a huge accomplishment!). When I had an idea last-minute (very last-minute) and decided I wanted to add something unique to the schedule, Dan met with me for over an hour the DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING to make this surprise for my husband happen. We can't go on enough about how great Dan was. He was our MC, our DJ, our one-man band, and at the end of the day, he was a good friend to us. If you choose Dan as your DJ he will surely exceed your expectations. ~Allison and David Beckwith
Dan Quinn is the MAN! The Myth! And The Legend!! From the second I reached out to inquire for my wedding, he took time to get to know my fiancé and I. Not only did he get to know u...
s throughout the planning process, he also took time to get to know my family. He goes above and beyond to make sure your dream comes to life! He truly helped us throw the best party ever! He made sure to customize and personalize the event to our liking while utilizing his expertise in this industry to make it a successful event. We had 365 guests and the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. One thing that was important to us was that all ages were on the dance floor, from little kids to grandparents and everything in between. Needless to say, Dan Quinn did not have any issues making that happen! One of my favorite memories of the night was when my dad aka djmike was asked to make a special appearance behind the DJ booth. Dan Quinn knew my dad loves to DJ from what we told him during the planning process and it was his idea to include my dad in this way! djmike thrived and I must add all the guests did too! We are truly so grateful for DQ and all that he did for us to make our wedding the best night! I could not recommend him enough! He is the real deal!!
I honestly cannot say enough about how incredible Dan is. Choosing him to be part of our wedding day may have been the single best planning decision that we made! Dan is so much mo...
re than a DJ-- he is truly an artist. When you hire Dan, you are hiring someone who will walk with you throughout the process and who will take every detail of your event so seriously. We had a a really specific vision for the ceremony and reception with a lot of special elements and moving parts, including the two of us singing at our ceremony, a flash mob bridal party entrance, and a custom track for our first dance. Dan was up for all of it! He helped us bring our dreams to reality. We were getting married in an industrial warehouse space, and he set up all the lighting and sound for our event in a way that ensured great acoustics and created an incredible feel for the evening. He ran all the sound for our ceremony, which included three speakers and three different people singing, and he accompanied us on the guitar for our duet. He played incredible live music throughout dinner and served as emcee for the entire reception, making sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone had an incredible time! So many people told us it was the best wedding reception they'd ever been to, and I saw people getting out on the dance floor that I've NEVER seen dance before, including at their own weddings! Dan even created our event timeline and came up with some creative ideas for the day! When he found our my husband is into ultimate frisbee, he suggested we put the garter on a frisbee and have him throw it from the mezzanine level. It was so much fun, and everyone loved it. We had so much fun planning and hanging out with him before and during the wedding. If you want your wedding to be incredibly special and fun, hire Dan!
My new wife and I were overly ecstatic with the performance Dan put on. He absolutely killed it and is the total package. From the lights, to the acoustic set during dinner, to the...
dance party he kept raging on the dance floor all night, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Dan got to know us before the event and the set he played perfectly reflected our personalities! After the wedding, we received multiple compliments on Dan. A quote from one of the guests, " I don't want to call him a DJ because he is way more than that, but that guy was (expletive) awesome!". So thank you Dan and we hope to see you down the road!
My daughter, husband & I were able to see Dan Quinn at work when my daughter was maid of honor last May. We all thought he handled the crowd well by informing them of upcoming even...
ts (appetizers on patio, cake cutting, etc). He kept the crowd lively, when needed, w/upbeat songs & fun bride/groom games, clearing all previously w/the couple before the wedding. He was plenty early for the event & previous to the wedding, made enough calls to make sure he & the bride/groom were on the same page w/ the flow of the nite. What was most appreciated , was his plan to meet w/the bride/groom in a casual atmosphere,
at least twice, to get to know them well enough so that his remarks at the wedding venue, related to the couple, & he understood them like a friend.
Great job, Dan. The wedding for our daughter was definitely not your first rodeo! We would definitely recommend you to our friends.
We booked Dan for our wedding 3.30.19 to play guitar during the ceremony, live music during dinner, then to DJ our reception.

r people who are debating between a band or DJ- HIRE DAN. It was the best of both worlds. He is so talented and the live music during dinner was incredible, then he had an awesome set of songs to DJ afterwards.
Another thing we loved about Dan is that he had enough equipment that there wasn’t really any awkward turnover time when he transitioned from live music to DJ.
My officiant, coordinator and family were SO thankful to Dan for making the night run so seamlessly.
As a younger bride who has NO experience going to weddings/ being in weddings and Dan helped me so much with the timeline for the night.
I can honestly say I first booked him only for live music plus DJing aspect, but he’s worth booking for SO many more reasons.
Side note*** pretty sure I got married on the coldest night in March history, and people stuck around after dinner solely for the entertainment.
My daughter surprised me with a 60th birthday party. Dan played both my daughter’s weddings, and I was thrilled to see him at my surprise party. He had a totally custom set with al...
l my favorite songs, complete with lighting and special effects. My friends and family and I danced all night long and it was such a fun night. Dan is always incredibly professional and engaging, not to mention talented. We don’t hesitate to hire him for any event whether it be personal or for our company, and you shouldn’t either! We can’t wait to dance and sing along with him again!
Dan is not your ordinary DJ. From the very beginning, he was interested in getting to know us and our story. He wanted to know what our interests were, the type of vibe we were ...
going for, who to point out in the crowd, and what songs got people on the dance floor! We met several times before our wedding and each time he had something unique to add to the equation. On wedding day, both Dan and his assistant provided an atmosphere that matched EXACTLY how I imagined. He was attentive to what I wanted (as the Bride), emceed the night to perfection, and kept the music flowing! The dance floor was packed ALL night and everyone talked about how much fun they had. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Dan. I HIGHLY recommend him and would use him again fro another event - I wish we had used his live performance piece as well!
Dan was the DJ for my daughters wedding this past weekend! He’s the BEST!!! Everyone had a fabulous time and said the music was great! His assistant was awesome too! Dan made our p...

My husband was very determined to get the best DJ for our wedding, it was his top priority. We accomplished exactly that by hiring Dan. From the first meeting to 24 hour before o...
ur wedding, Dan was patient, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. He made us feel at ease with everything even when we were really stressing on planning, late on deadlines, and even with changing songs and entrance descriptions a few days prior. We have been told countless times since the wedding that we had the most fun wedding they had been to and that our entrances were the best as well... both because of Dan. He is a true professional at his craft.
Not only with the DJ side but he also did an incredible job with the lighting and took the MC role just as serious which really makes or breaks your wedding. We can't recommend Dan enough, he is so patient, creative and will accommodate any and all requests you can dream up and make them all come to life. He is also a wonderful guy and someone we are happy to call a friend after the wedding as well.
We absolutely loved working with Dan! He took the time prior to the wedding to get to know us so he could customize the evening for us. He was very helpful in organizing the flow o...
f the reception and was able to incorporate different things we knew we wanted.
He played live acoustic music during the cocktail hour and then DJ’d during the reception. His playlists were perfect and engaging for all age groups of the guests that were there! We had so many people compliment us on the music! I would absolutely recommend Dan for any wedding or event!
Thank you, Dan for an incredible night that Matt and I will never forget!

go for a big wedding, and without a doubt I automatically knew who I wanted as my DJ. Let me just say, if you a reading through reviews to see if you want Dan for your wedding or any event, don’t even think about it, book NOW. Dan if you are reading this, thank you for making all the pumping, positive vibes throughout the night perfect and exquisite as possible. Also thank you for meeting with us to get to know us better and make sure everything was good to go for the big day. Not only did I make the best decision by marrying Collin, I also made the best decision in choosing Dan to DJ on our special day!
Dan was absolutely amazing to work with! He took the time to get to know us and truly customized everything to fit our vision. He even learned our first dance song on the guitar so...
my best friend could sing it live - Amazing! He was so patient throughout the planning process and answered all of my questions to make sure I felt comfortable with everything leading up to the big day. His attention to detail truly demonstrates how professional and wonderful he is! The music and DJ combo was a crowd favorite and such a unique twist. People are still talking about it! There is not a better band/DJ/MC in DFW!
We LOVE DAN QUINN!!!!
When preparing for our special day, love music and entertainment were at the top of the list (if you knew how our friends love a good party, you’d understan...
d!).
We reviewed dozens of acts, went out to watch them perform....and we knew we had the right man from the second we saw how he connected with the crowd.
His live music was perfect, fun and he kept the people dancing and smiling. He even learned a Foo Fighters song for our ceremony! Then, when it was time to turn up the dance floor, his DJing was tremendous! He listened to our feedback, understood what we were looking for, and kept people partying all night.
Can’t wait for the anniversary party to jam with Dan again!!!
There are not enough words of appreciation and awe over Dan's professionalism, music expertise and attention to detail as our DJ and emcee for my daughter's quinceanera. We were h...
is first quinceanera client and will most definitely not be the last. He sat down with us to understand our music preferences and review the "run of show" and took the time to attend a dance rehearsal with the full court. He was very accessible leading up to the event and was able to make great suggestions to ensure the program flowed smoothly as well as adapt to last-minute additions/changes. I've been asked repeatedly what was my favorite part of the event ... and it was seeing 60+ teenagers (15-16 yr olds) -- and their parents -- on the dance floor as soon as the music started until the party was over. Thank you Dan for making Katie's Quinceanera a magical event and one that we will forever treasure!!
It's hard to put into words how big of a deal choosing a good DJ/Singer for your wedding is. My wife and I stressed about this decision probably more than any other single item fo...
r our wedding. We felt like who we chose to sing at our wedding would be a direct reflection of us and our tastes.....so we didn't take it lightly.
After meeting Dan for lunch for the firs time, we knew we had our man!
A good DJ will not only play good tracks you want for your big day.....but will:
- Get to know you and your future spouse over several meetings over months preceding the wedding
-Help set up a useful timeline of where and when they and their staff will be all day setting up
- Actually let you hand pick songs to PLAY LIVE (not push play) and email you the approved entire set list prior to your big day
- Act as an MC at your reception, doing intros, guiding guests when to eat, keeping a perfect flow of events
- Be a total professional from beginning to end. Looking and acting the part
Dan Quinn exemplifies ALL of these qualities and pulled off our wedding without a hitch!
To call Dan just a DJ would be an insult to his craft. He not only spins records (and mixes live), but he sings a WIDE range of music...putting his own variations on each song, making them totally unique to your wedding. Dan also eliminates any "lulls" in action by being your MC (should you need) to introduce people, direct traffic to eat, and getting people to the dance floor all night!
Since our wedding 3 weeks ago, I've gotten so many complements on how good of a singer Dan is. We knew by his videos he was good, but seeing him sing our fav songs all night was like being at our own personal concert! I can't explain how important it is to a wedding to choose someone who is not only talented musically, but can keep the energy up and know how to get a dance floor rockin! Dan did exactly that, total package entertainer.
We thoroughly enjoyed the process of getting to know Dan prior to the wedding, and the care he took in getting to know us to provide an even better service. I would actually consider him a friend now, and recommend him for literally any event. He's a total professional, handling every detail you don't even have time to think of on your big day.
Dan Quinn, we salute you!
Thanks again for making our day so special....

Dan was wonderful to work with. He is a total professional and knows how to read a crowd - we just let him do his thing and he made our reception a lot of fun for everyone (and go...
t more people dancing than we expected)! He also added some personal touches that we /our family thought were very sweet.
We would absolutely recommend using Dan at a wedding/other event!
Dan did a great job of helping us organize the reception ahead of time. He listened to a lot of our requests regarding music tastes and did a great job reading the crowd so the dan...
ce floor was never empty. He was also super flexible with us the night of when we sprung a few surprises on him. Would highly recommend Dan!

r first dance and it was amazing. Dan was always on time and always a pleasure to talk with. He is very professional and always made it about the bride and groom and never about himself even though he is a true star. Our wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed the music--our request was good mix of country and top 40 hits. It was our own personal concert for 4 hours, and a reception our guests will talk about for a long long time. Thank you Dan. You made a memorable night even more spectacular.
We could not have been happier with Dan. He was absolutely AMAZING through the entire wedding process, from helping plan to performing at the wedding. We decided to meet before w...
e even started to discuss wedding options to take the time to get to know each other personality wise and see if we could work together as potential friends.
Prior to the wedding Dan was great. He sat down with my wife and I to discuss the overall night. We didn't have a wedding planner and Dan gave us great advice on how to make a natural flow through out the evening. Dan also took the time to learn about all of our family and friends; he created a profile for each of them, so he knew everyone's personality and how to engage them both in conversation and with music. Dan knew what guests would start the dancing and what music they loved.
As far as our playlist, it was perfect. We chose our songs for our first dance, the bride and father dance, and the groom and mother dance. Outside of those three songs we suggested five additional songs and genres, then we gave Dan full creative control on the rest of the playlist. After taking time to learn our personalities, Dan made the perfect playlist. Half of the night he played live acoustic music and half the night he DJ'd. Both were amazing; the acoustic selection, which included four different genres of music, was outstanding. Dan's playlist engaged everyone, so we constantly had guests ranging from 3yrs old to 60yrs old dancing all night.
Overall our wedding night was perfect, more then we'd hoped. Dan was a major part of that. He took the time to make sure we had zero stress, including aspects not associated with music. We felt that we had a close friend as our DJ, not a stranger.
