, but Dan has such a calm, friendly, and reassuring presence that he made the entire ceremony feel effortless.
He guided us through everything, kept us relaxed, and delivered a beautiful ceremony that felt personal and meaningful. His professionalism, kindness, and ability to make the experience so easy truly made our day even more special.
We couldn’t have asked for a better person to officiate our wedding. We highly recommend Dan to anyone looking for someone who will make your ceremony memorable, stress-free, and enjoyable. Thank you, Dan, for being such an important part of our special day!
An Officiant Who Truly Loves What He Does
We can’t say enough good things about Dan Griffiths, our wedding officiant. From the very first meeting, it was clear that he genuinely lo...
ves what he does. We came in not knowing much about how our ceremony should go — only that we didn’t want something too traditional — and Dan guided us through the entire process with patience, warmth, and enthusiasm.
He took the time to get to know us as people, not just as clients, and worked hand in hand with us to create a ceremony that felt perfectly us. Every word, every moment, was intentional and meaningful.
But what really stood out was how much he cared about making everything seamless. At our rehearsal, Dan arrived early and, with the coordinator’s blessing, took charge in the best possible way. He walked us through every single detail — who moves when, where to stand, when to face each other — even giving us simple physical cues like, “I’ll touch your shoulder to let you know when to move.” It made everything so easy and stress-free.
On the wedding day, he was just as incredible. Dan was fully aware of how our photographers and videographers worked and made sure we always had the perfect angles, gently stepping aside during key moments so the focus stayed on us. It’s such a small thing, but it made a huge difference.
Dan was amazing — professional, kind, and truly passionate about what he does. He made our ceremony unforgettable, and we’re so grateful we found him.
Dan was truly a pleasure to have a part of our day - we got to know him through 3 planning phone calls, and corresponded plenty over email. He provided us with plenty of ceremony r...
eadings to choose from, and then we went on to customize them to our needs. Day of the wedding, he came early and interacted with our family/bridal party, all of who commented after the fact on how much he felt part of our family. He reminded us constantly that the ceremony was for us, and we listened to each word intently - almost forgetting anyone else was there. It was very special, and evidently clear he's been a part of many weddings. He also honored my husband's late parents in such a beautiful way. We are extremely happy that Dan was the one to pronounce us husband and wife!
Dan did such a wonderful job with our ceremony! He was a pleasure to work with. He is very professional and very passionate about his role in helping couples celebrate their love. ...
It was great talking with him ahead of time so he could get to know us and working in tandem with him to build everything we wanted for our wedding day. Thank you, Dan!

ice for the ceremony but was never overbearing. He showed up early before the ceremony to make sure everyone was comfortable with what was happening and when. It truly felt like he was a lifelong friend at the ceremony, and we had many family members ask us afterwards how long we've known him because they assumed it had been forever! He must have submitted the marriage license super quickly as well because we got the certificate back within a week of the ceremony! We would highly recommend Dan!!!

readings for our ceremony. During the ceremony, he was so well spoken and he made us feel so comfortable at the altar, while also doing a wonderful job of making our family and friends feel included. He also helped our wedding party by giving them reminders of what to do next during the ceremony. He was simply the best and we highly recommend him.

involved, and you can tell he perfects it before the big day. During and after our wedding we had multiple guests tell us how amazing Dan was. Dan made our day very special and we couldn't be more thankful. He helps you throughout the process when picking and deciding what you want read, truly amazing. Thank you so much Dan for being apart of our big day! Bobby and I truly appreciate you!

w great he did.
Dan had this amazing way of making it feel like it was just us on that alter but the guests said he made them feel included in the ceremony versus just awkwardly waiting until it was over.
Just the nicest guy and a great personality! He made us laugh, he made us cry and he made it the perfect ceremony. Thank you Dan!!

met us for coffee two months before the ceremony. He made our day so easy and made us feel so comfortable at the altar! We felt like it was just the three of us. He helped us find beautiful readings for our ceremony and even let us adjust them to make them more personal. He also kept our wedding party in check!! We highly recommend hiring Dan as your JP :)

y to use, and was extremely helpful. Dan not only helped us pick the perfect ceremony, but memorized what we chose so that he wasn't reading off a prompt. He was energetic, responsive and a wonderful public speaker. We couldn't of asked for a better JP to officiate our wedding.
I have NO words. Thank you Dan for making our last minute ceremony so perfect. Look no further than Dan. He has everyone laughing, crying, he knows what hes doing, he knows how to ...
command the attention of a room, and he knows how to make you feel so absolutely special. He is the one you want, honestly, like SO many others have said before me, look NO FURTHER.

d he knew us for years. Dan has most of what he presents memorized, and when we gave him a special reading to make, you could tell he reviewed it beforehand because he delivered it with the same passion and grace as the others.
He addressed both me as well as my now Husband, made our guests feel as if they were a special part of the process, handed me a tissue discreetly when my now husband was reading his vows, and even went one on one with a bee that kept flying in my face!
I truly can not recommend Dan enough. He was one of the reasons our day was so special. And, he is the only person I have seen step aside when he pronounced us husband and wife, so that the photographer and videographer could capture just us.
If you are overwhelmed by the amount of JP’s out there, I urge you to just pick Dan. You won’t be sorry!
We were so glad we chose Dan to officiate our wedding! When we met him, he had so much energy, and made us laugh from the start. The day of, it rained like I have never heard rain ...
come down before, and Dan helped make it memorable, fun, and touching. You could really tell he cared a lot about our wedding and his role, and he was so excited for us. We would definitely suggest him to other couples! He even made it a point to move out of the way of the picture of our first kiss, so it was just me and my husband in it! As we were re-watching our ceremony on video, you could feel the heart Dan put into our ceremony, we definitely made the right choice! He walked us through everything (both beforehand and the day of), has us and our guests crying and then laughing, and we loved our ceremony!
The best, fun and an absolute perfectionist! Dan is awesome and so thankful we chose him!

hat he does, that you really don't have to worry about anything. Dan was unable to attend our rehearsal...and I think in most other cases this would have been stressful, but for us there was no worry because we knew that Dan would be fully prepared and he sure was! He arrived early to our wedding, introduced himself to our parents/wedding party/other vendors and gave us a run down of what we would expect from him. Even during the ceremony, he was able to engage with all our guests in ways that were so genuine, he helped coach all of us about where to stand, when to walk etc. I think my most FAVORITE thing was that he was so kind enough to stepped out of the way for special photo moments like the exchanging of rings, our vows and during our first kiss!! That was something I personally thought was extremely thoughtful of him - I don't think many officiants think like this. He is so qualified and highly experienced. We've had so many guests rave about how beautiful our ceremony was and we have Dan to thank for that!!

mony lineup and delivered all the readings without a hitch. Dan is truly passionate in what he does and it shows in his voice, eye contact, and body language when he speaks and he always engages the crowd. He practically memorized all the readings from the start to finish with great confidence and we received many compliments from our guests on how strong his performance was. Thank you Dan for working with us and delivering such a beautiful ceremony, it is a memory we will always treasure!

ttend rehearsal so he could meet our party and parents. Dan truly enjoys officiating weddings and that shines through during your ceremony. Everyone could hear him and clearly understand him. This was very important to us so even the folks in the back felt included! He has his recommended readings memorized so he can speak to the audience instead of in his papers. However, this did not stop him from reading other passages we had picked. Hiring Dan was the best decision we made for our ceremony! He is very busy as the good word gets out, so hire him soon! Thank you, Dan! – Jillian and Kyle

e, easy to work with, and it is also clear he greatly cares and loves what he does. Our wedding ceremony (7/17/15) was what we imagined and what he promised. He has such a great personality and his body language really captured our guests attention, making the ceremony that much more moving and personal. We are still receiving compliments about him and many people are requesting his information for their own upcoming wedding or friends upcoming wedding. I really think a JP can make or break a wedding ceremony, and it is nice knowing ours was so memorable due to Dan. To have people non stop talking about your JP after a wedding really shows how excellent he is. I would recommend him in a heart beat.

After our original officiant (family friend) had to unexpectedly back out of our wedding ceremony, we contacted our venue for JP referrals. Enter Dan Griffiths. I emailed him about...
availability via his website (http://www.dangriffiths.me/) and received a response within the hour. Wow!
From there, I knew he was going to be quick, direct and sweet. We knew he was going to be great - but were pleasantly surprised by what a spectacular officiant he was. Everyone (and I mean everyone!) raved and raved about how amazing Dan Griffiths was. My sister (the matron of honor) said that she found herself nodding along to what he were saying about marriage and love. Both of our parents appreciated the parent-tribute portion of the ceremony. My brothers all loved the shout out to those who couldn't be with us that day.
Other couples commented on how short and sweet it was. Other words were heard about Dan and his work during that night: "truly amazing", "so genuine", "how long have you known Dan? He seemed like he is your best friend and mentor", "absolutely the best ceremony", "one-of-a-kind", "calming and sincere".
We are thankful Dan was there to marry us that day! He exceeded all of our expectations and made the day exactly was it supposed to be: perfect!
What more can I say? From the minute we met Dan, we fell in love with him. He's so passionate about what he does, and made us feel so comfortable. He will tell you, "this is you...

ring the night to compliment the ceremony and tell us how beautiful it was. Coming from a Catholic family, the thought of a Non-Church wedding caused some initial discomfort. Following the ceremony, both of our parents told us we made the right choice and that our ceremony was one of the most meaningful they had ever seen. Dan was great in allowing us to choose passages that meant the most to us. His voice was crisp and clear throughout the entire ceremony and his small queues helped us along through the whole thing. Thank you so much Dan!

pproach of guiding everyone through the ceremony really worked for us and calmed our nerves. He has a great feel for what a ceremony needs, but was also completely open to trying a new format for our ceremony that was really important to me. He also made a major effort to be flexible to meet with us for a quick rehearsal and came all the way to Boston so we could practice even with our busy schedule. He was extremely kind and really made our day special. Everyone in Massachusetts and NH should use Dan!
We were very happy with our decision to choose Dan, he was willing to help with our personal vows. He provides you with everything you need, and is reasonably priced.
