About this vendor
The Dade City Garden Club, established in 1947 is housed in the historic St. Rita's Church building originally built in 1913. The building has been restored to create a bright and open space surrounded by vintage charm. The venue is perfect for celebrations of around 100 people and includes tables and chairs. We offer brides a small preparation area as well. Full day rentals have access to the Celebration Garden complete with a vine-covered arbor perfect for ceremonies, this patio seats 30 (chairs included). Our clubhouse is available for full and half-day rentals or the beautifully landscaped gardens are available for rent alone during the week. We are a non-profit club dedicated to the education of its members and the public in the fields of gardening and horticulture.

was wonderful at keeping in contact with us and if I had questions, I usually had a response within 24 hours. I highly recommend using Dade City Garden Club for any event!
We had a really good experience booking our wedding at the Garden Club. We rented it for both the day before and the day of our wedding. We worked with Brenda and she was super hel...
pful and professional. Our security deposit was returned promptly and in full.
The Good:
The gardens are lovely for pictures!
The space outdoors for a small wedding is great.
It is affordable!
The Bad:
Dealing with the garden club was very unpleasant and i...
nconvenient particularly if you aren't local. They don't use credit cards, so I had to mail them checks. When I was a couple days late sending the second check they insisted on a money order. I was never sent invoices or reminder. So be sure you memorize your contract and mark your own calendar with your payment due date . The contact person was very slow to respond to questions, or simply failed to respond to emails at times. They wanted a security deposit of about 75% the cost of the rental which they deposited immediately and refused to hold, so there is no recourse if they do not return your deposit. In fact, they did not return my full security deposit , claiming that we'd left a mess, when in fact we'd picked everything up ourselves immediately following our own ceremony. When asked for proof of the mess, none was given. No one from the Garden Club was on hand the day of the wedding, we were given an access code the day before and set up and put away all the tables and chairs ourselves.
Overall, the actual Garden Club is a nice venue and the cost, even with the improperly held security deposit, was low. Just be prepared for some real headaches dealing with the people.
Not only is this adorable, it's affordable too. Brenda was so lovely to meet. We had the gardens Friday and Saturday. This gave us plenty of time to set up and tear down. I loved t...
hat it was just our day there. We were able to have the whole place to ourselves. Our guests loved it. I will absolutely hold another event there again. Perfect for a smaller wedding. Also great for a diy, not to many rules, just clean up after yourself. Watch out for the passing trains, their timing is impeccable.
