Daddy Pop

Daddy Pop was hands down the best vendor we hired - and that is saying a lot considering I am obsessed with all of my vendors!! We were married just shy of 2 weeks ago and people are still talking about our wedding band - and we expect they will be for the rest of our lives! They were that good! The dance floor was packed from start to finish. They somehow managed to play something for everyone and kept people of all ages on their feet all night. The range of music was incredible, and they absolutely nailed everything they played. We really liked that we got to pick 10 must plays and 10 must not plays - they played all our must plays and then were able to seamlessly identify additional songs to play based on the vibes of the party - it was very impressive and they were spot on with their choices! Having a rapper was such a fun and unique touch that brought the energy to another level. And the sax player was incredible. Guests are still talking about how he was out on the dance floor interacting with everyone and keeping the party going. Those little extra touches are what set Daddy Pop apart. This is not your typical wedding band, and they completely exceeded every expectation we had. As amazing as the performance was, working with Liz deserves its own review. From day one, Liz was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly organized, professional, responsive, and genuinely one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. The week of our wedding she spent an hour on the phone with us going through every detail to make sure everything was set for the big day. She coordinated directly with our venue regarding setup and logistics, and on the wedding day she handled everything so seamlessly that we never had to think about it. She took care of everything behind the scenes without constantly pulling us away from getting ready, taking pictures, or spending time with our families and wedding party. Not that we wouldn't have helped if she needed us, but it was one less thing to worry about on an already busy day. She made everything feel effortless. She also went above and beyond in ways we never expected. Right before our reception entrance and first dance, she could tell I was nervous and rushed me, never made me feel pressured, and waited until I was completely ready before sending us in. It seems like a small thing, but in the moment it meant so much. We booked Daddy Pop without ever seeing them live, purely based on their reputation and reviews, and they somehow exceeded every expectation we had. Looking back, it makes total sense why they've done over 1,000 weddings and have so many incredible reviews. If you're considering booking them, do it. We truly cannot recommend them enough. They were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we'll be lifelong Daddy Pop fans.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Daddy Pop. We first saw them perform at a wedding four years ago, and to this day it was the best wedding we’ve ever been to because of them. From that moment on, we knew that whenever we got married, Daddy Pop had to be our band, and I even planned our wedding date around their availability. From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation. The dance floor was packed all night long and every guest was raving about them. The rapper was a huge hit and brought such an incredible, fun energy that truly set the tone for the entire night. (Seriously, add the rapper on!!! He’s the best!!) One of the most special moments for us came after our final meeting with Liz, the lead singer. We had casually mentioned a song we hoped the DJ might play since it wasn’t on the band’s song list. Without saying a word, Liz and the band surprised us by learning and performing it at our wedding. It ended up being one of the most fun, memorable moments of the entire night and meant so much to us. Daddy Pop was hands down the best addition to our wedding. They created an unforgettable experience. If you’re considering them, do not hesitate. They will absolutely make your wedding. Thank you Daddy Pop!!!!
