About this vendor
CRW Events officially began in 2010 in Bloomington, IL, but Candace, our lead planner, has been planning events for non profits, family and friends for over 15 years. In 2015, we relocated to the Chicagoland area and we have gained many partnerships with venues and vendors. We currently have 40 plus weddings under our belt and over 1000 events. We have a great team of assistants & associates that help with assisting Candace at second locations and particularly for larger weddings. Our motto is "Making Your Dreams A Reality". We only work with the best! We ensure a fun, personal, stress-free experience so that you don’t feel like you’ve hired help but that you have a trusted friend making your big day happen. If you're thinking of hiring a wedding planner, do it! It was such a weight off my shoulders to know that Candace was there to support us on our big day. She was so organized and...
had benchmarks of what we needed to complete as we counted down to our wedding date. Candace also took the time to understand our vision of what we wanted and how to help us achieve that. Many of the vendors we used we found through her recommendations, and it was helpful to be able to sort through the many possible options in the Chicago area. I would recommend CRW Events ten times over and I'm so grateful that we chose to work with them.

Every wedding day has hiccups, but CRW went over it very smooth. I barely even noticed when things went wrong. I would recommend her services to anyone, and if I ever had another wedding/event, I’m going to CRW EVENTS!

e wedding process. I'm a pretty hands on person, but dealing with all the different vendors, and their hiccups, is a lot to handle on your own. Candace was amazing, from weekly check-ins making sure we were on track , to day-of coordination, she was top notch. Her and her team were kind, professional, responsive and fun to work with. She provided a great template to store all of the wedding info, and what I really appreciated was the time she took to go to the venue with me and go through where I wanted decor and the best flow for ceremony to reception. I had a bridal party of over 20 people, Candace handled everything perfectly and coordinated everyone with ease. I was referred to CRW Events by a friend, and after the incredibly positive experience with Candace for wedding planning, I too highly recommend her and this company!

She went out and grabbed us boutonnieres for the guys because we didn’t have enough, she set up all of my decor and took care of everything without me even having to ask. I cannot put into words how perfect her help was. She is the sweetest and also made sure we had drinks in our hands all night. She made our wedding day stress free! Thank you so much for everything you did for us Candace, you are amazing!

r day of services began well beyond our wedding day with monthly and bi-weekly check ins to keep me on schedule. Many people could have easily just let me struggle to get things done, but not Candace. When she heard stress in my voice over the phone, she immediately offered to take things off of my plate by sending emails, making calls, etc. Candace took care of coordinating all of our vendors, creating our schedule with me, keeping our very large bridal party in order, and being a little peace of sanity. She remembered every little detail that I forgot (For example, picking a Jenga guest book and not having markers on the day of - YIKES! Or picking up my sheet cake for me on the day of!). She truly was helpful beyond what I can even place into this single review. Her coordination services were so needed and I would recommend her to any bride!

ce, as we dealt with the uncertainty of COVID, and Candace was the perfect combination of calm, cool, and collected. She helped us create our wedding vision all through COVID and up until the wedding day. Candace is profound in her expertise. My husband and I are still blown away by the incredible work Candace provided on our Wedding Day (7/17/21). Candace is very hands-on and professional. She goes the extra mile to get the job done. We are so grateful to have met and coordinated our wedding with Candace. I would highly recommend Candace 5/5 for coordinating weddings. Candace, thank you for making our dream wedding come true!

ice and recommendations. The day of my wedding 3 of her team members call off. Candace was left doing a lot more work than she and the remaining team had planned. Details were left undone and she was not able to change in to wedding appropriate attire for the entirety of my wedding. I believe Candace had the best intention but I expected better quality of execution than received.

remely organized and was great with follow up. Candace asks all the right questions to ensure your vendors know your expectations. She keeps everyone on track throughout the day to ensure the bride and groom can enjoy their day. As vendors canceled last minute and family members were going missing, Candace kept her composure and kept things moving. My family loved her and still talk about how amazing she was. I am so grateful for Candace and I couldn't imagine doing a wedding without her!

she had already emailed me photos of some ideas. I was very impressed that she had captured my vision so quickly. Candace always was positive and her motto was “I should not be stressed, that is why I paid her”. beat my own personal timelines on my todos. She’s kind, generous and very professional. She’s hired for all of our future events. She greeted every guest at the reception and made sure that the day never skipped a beat; she even stepped in and hosted when our MC didn’t show. Her name alone proceeds her! Thanks Candace! We love you!
