Amy and the whole Cruiseport team made our wedding the best day of our lives. From our initial meeting, to our tasting, to our rehearsal, to our wedding, Amy was there to support us. She is professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She asked us important questions and made sure her team executed our vision perfectly. Cruiseport provides the most breathtaking backdrop- from the stunning ceremony space, to the wonderful harbor cruise for cocktail hour, to the beautiful reception, our guests gushed over the atmosphere. Amy and her team created the best ambiance we could have asked for.
Our initial meeting with Amy was super helpful. We discussed pricing, meal options, and use of the space. We knew immediately that we wanted to book the Cruiseport. During our tasting, the staff were kind, and the food was impeccable. Amy answered all of our questions about adhering to dietary restrictions.
During our rehearsal, Amy provided important details to ensure that all wedding party members were on the same page. She guided us through the full day and ensured we understood the full scope of what her team would be doing.
We were able to do our wedding party and family photos, along with bride and groom portraits, at the venue, which was incredibly convenient and helpful. Amy guided our photographer and videographer to the perfect first look spot- the deck right outside the ceremony space. The ceremony itself was stunning, and Amy worked with our DJ to ensure that the music played correctly and that the sound equipment worked for our officiant and our vow readings.
The harbor cruise at cocktail hour was a huge hit- boat boarding took no time at all for our 130+ guests, and the hors d'oeuvres were delicious. The staff worked diligently and we were never without a drink or a bite. The flow between the ceremony, cruise, and reception was effortless.
The reception was beyond our wildest dreams. One detail we loved was that Amy herself poured our wine and brought us our dinner at our sweetheart table- we loved getting to connect with her throughout the night. Staff brought meals out efficiently- to the point where we barely saw them, but more food kept appearing! The lighting and sound were perfect all night. Bar services were easy to work with and the meals were incredible. We can’t think of another venue that offers lobster rolls and s’mores on the dance floor!
Overall, Amy and her team took all stress off our shoulders.The hospitality was unmatched and the staff made sure every single guest’s needs were catered to. The attention to detail made us feel so celebrated. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful and organized our day felt. If you are thinking about booking the Cruiseport, do it!

Each and every member of the staff was truly such a pleasure to work with from our very first visit all the way through our day. The staff are clearly trained, they know how to pay attention to the details, and they offer such hospitality to your family and friends.
As we led up to our wedding day, we were thrilled to work with Alyson D. on the team. Alyson gave us a sense of calm and composure throughout the entire process. She anticipated our needs and truly understood what was most important to us. Her experience was evident; she welcomed our unique ideas, and she gave recommendations along the way that genuinely helped to deliver a seamless day from start to finish. Alyson and the Cruiseport Team are a class act, who deliver on their word and provide such value with their approach to the wedding process.
We cannot recommend Cruiseport enough, with a number of options in the North Shore area, nothing seems to compare when you consider their entire package and what Cruiseport has to offer!

The entire team at Cruiseport is exceptional, and we especially want to give a huge shoutout to our coordinator, Miriam. She was organized, communicative, and supportive throughout the entire planning process. I so appreciated her quick replies and flexibility with the many venue visits we had leading up to the wedding — she always made everything feel easy and accommodated. Knowing she was coordinating gave us complete confidence going into the day.
The venue itself is stunning. The waterfront views are beautiful, and the two-level layout is such a unique and fun feature — we loved having cocktail hour on the first floor and then welcoming guests upstairs for the reception. The ballroom felt spacious yet intimate, and with 130 guests plus additional furniture and décor pieces, everything fit perfectly and comfortably.
The food and beverage experience was phenomenal. We had originally not loved the salmon option as it was more of a summer vibe, and Miriam actually had the chef create a completely new salmon dish for us that fit our winter wedding. Our signature drinks were also exactly what we envisioned and delicious, and the overall alcohol selection at the bar is truly top tier. That level of customization and quality meant so much.
If I had to describe Cruiseport in one word, it would be flexible. We had a decorator bringing in extensive furniture and décor pieces, and the venue team was incredibly accommodating with every detail. Since there was no event that morning, they even allowed our decorator to begin setup very early, which made the entire day feel relaxed and seamless. The staff throughout the event were also incredibly attentive and kind to both us and our guests.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran so smoothly and was orchestrated perfectly behind the scenes. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish and were able to truly be present and enjoy every moment.
We have nothing but amazing things to say about Cruiseport Gloucester and their team. We would choose this venue again in a heartbeat.

Miriam went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, from vendor coordination and timelines, to last-minute changes the week of. We met with her in person twice before the wedding day to go over all of the little details - things I wouldn’t have even thought of, but she did! She guided us through a rehearsal for the ceremony and coordinated with the bridal parties the day of.
On our wedding day, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment because we knew she had everything under control. She was always in the background but never in the way. There was a few times my wife looked around the room, in need of something, and all of a sudden she appeared! It really showed how much she cared about making our day flow perfectly. The set up of the venue was exactly what we had talked about and she really made my vision come to life. Our ceremony and reception were both on site, including cocktail hour on the cruiseline at sunset which was a guest favorite. Hor d'oeuvres and dinner both were excellent, especially the stuffed Atlantic sole.

aff was so seamless and easy. Our event coordinator, Amy Ray, is an angel on earth. She was so responsive, kind-hearted, and ensured everything on our big day was perfect. She took all the stress out of wedding planning. The venue itself is gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for all types of decor/aesthetics. We went simple with centerpieces etc to try to save money and you wouldn't even know it. The venue speaks for itself. Plus the food is AMAZING. Our guests still cannot stop talking about it weeks later. We did a buffet and it was so organized and well run, the serving staff was friendly and efficient, and the quality of the dishes was unmatched. You will not regret choosing the Cruiseport!

every corner. We toured the venue right after we were engaged almost 2 years ago and booked it right away because of AMY. We asked right away that she be our day of coordinator. She was a joy to work with and made the process so easy and a real no brainer. We had unforeseen circumstances affect our wedding day and the entire Cruiseport staff went above and beyond. I cannot recommend them enough, ask for Amy!!

ny, but even in the dreariest weather the inside of the venue is stunning. We opted for the oyster/seafood bar at our cocktail hour, which was a hit with our guests. Jordan was incredibly organized and responsive throughout our wedding planning process. When our original off-site first look location fell through the day of, within minutes Jordan and her team were ready for us to show up to the venue early for pre-ceremony photos. We can't thank Jordan and Cruiseport enough for making our day amazing!

oceanside venue (and looks amazing in pictures) without having to be too worried about weather given the indoor function room. The room layout was great for our 180 guests and band with plenty of room for dancing. The outdoor deck and firepits also offer the perfect spot for anyone who wants to take a break from the dancefloor. We took advantage of the cruising cocktail hour and it was such a hit with our guests. I also can't tell you how many people commented on how delicious the food was (we did the beef tenderloin, baked haddock and ravioli). Lastly having the option to get ready at and for our guests to stay at the affiliated Beauport hotel was such a treat as the resort is stunning.
To top off everything I said above I will be forever indebted to our AMAZING coordinator Nora. She was so response and knowledgeable, calmed my fears over a potential thunderstorm forecasted, helped us execute a variety of switches and switch backs due to weather all to make the day flawless. At one point Nora even whipped out a hot glue gun to help fix my dress after the bustle broke. She went above and beyond and we will be forever grateful!

We truly felt like royalty that day. I highly recommend having cocktail hour on the boat, as it was so much fun and the view was incredible. Jordan was our wedding coordinator and she was AMAZING! She is kind, personable and was super patient with the 100 questions I asked during the planning process via phone/email. Additionally, her email responsiveness was so quick, which is greatly appreciated. Also, she provided really great decor ideas that I hadn't even thought of, which I ended up utilizing and were a big hit! The day of the wedding, there were some last minute changes that came up for the reception and Jordan was extremely flexible and accommodating. You will be lucky to have Jordan as your wedding coordinator! Lastly, the food was delicious. I had the fish (because Gloucester) but wow the filet was amazing. If a beautiful, coastal New England wedding is your vision...run, don't walk to the Cruiseport!! 10/10.

The waitstaff and bar tenders were so attentive, professional, and wonderful. ly went above and beyond to make our day perfect, answering every little question (even the ones that were probably dumb!) and making sure we had a great plan for our day. The venue itself is so beautiful and the food is amazing. I am still having guests comment (months later!) on how it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Not to mention how much more affordable Cruiseport was than most other places we looked at on the North Shore -- and without skimping on any of the "luxury" stuff. It felt like everything we could want was already included in the price and handled so easily.

She also took the time to meet with our group in person and was so patient in making sure every detail was perfect. I did not have to worry about a thing, Amy took care of everything! I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked when I walked down the aisle for our ceremony and at our reception.
The venue itself is gorgeous and all of the food was delicious. All of our guests are still raving! We also loved staying at the Beauport Hotel, the bridal suite was beautiful! I was so impressed with everything from start to finish and felt well taken care of throughout the process! I would absolutely recommend the Cruiseport for your wedding!

were right on the water and the venue was modern, bright, and had a happy feeling. Amy was excellent to work with and made everything extremely easy from the initial planning days all the way through to our last dance on our wedding night. We loved the easy to access deck that our guests utilized throughout the night. The venue space was extremely flexible. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at Cruiseport and each space felt separate and unique, while making it easy for our guests to arrive and be stationed in one spot. We organized our rehearsal dinner with Cruiseport, too, which allowed us to have our rehearsal aboard Beauport Cruiselines that allowed for the most gorgeous sunset cruise of Gloucester Harbor. The food for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding was to die for and extremely *beyond* accommodating for dietary restrictions, especially gluten free needs. Something we really loved about Cruiseport was that after our ceremony they had an entire cocktail hour spread for the wedding party and cocktails/drinks ready to go for us. They also had drinks poured and passed around throughout the cocktail hour for our guests. We received a lot of feedback that the h’ourdervous were plentiful and delicious and the bar was quick and efficient. We loved Cruiseport and highly recommend it! Amy did everything and created a stress-free day that felt seamless by all. Thank you, Cruiseport!
