Crucial Entertainment

ding as fun and lively as possible. During our wedding reception, Gina had the entire venue BUMPING, putting her MC skills on full display. More than anything Gina is an awesome person and we would recommend her services to anyone and everyone!

long. She had an incredible ability to read the crowd, play the perfect songs at the perfect time, and make sure guests of all ages were out on the dance floor having the best time. What really set her apart was how invested he was in making sure we were having fun. Throughout the night, she checked in on us, kept the timeline running smoothly, and made sure we were enjoying every moment of our celebration. As if that wasn't enough, she not only helped me create a special voice over message to the groom for the ceremony with music and even shared videos from our wedding on social media afterward, giving us even more memories to relive and enjoy. Her professionalism, energy, and genuine enthusiasm for what she does made such a huge impact on our wedding day. If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond, keeps the dance floor packed, and truly cares about creating an unforgettable experience, we cannot recommend Gina Fourell highly enough. She was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

roughout the night, always making sure we had a drink in hand and everything we needed. She worked seamlessly with our photographer and coordinator so that we never had to check the time or worry about what came next. On top of being insanely talented, Gina has a fantastic personality and brought such a fun energy to the planning process. At this point, I’m considering inviting her to future family events just for entertainment. Highly, highly recommend her and Crucial Entertainment!

genuine expertise. One of the things that impressed us most was how thoughtfully he curated the music. Our guest list spanned two cultures, my family (American/English-speaking) and my wife’s (American/Hispanic, Spanish-speaking), and Jason seamlessly blended both worlds into a playlist that had everyone on the dance floor. Beyond the music itself, every logistical detail was handled flawlessly: sound setup, lighting, and punctual setup and breakdown without a hitch. But what truly set Jason apart was how much he helped us prepare for the day itself. My wife and I planned our entire wedding independently, and having someone with hundreds of weddings under his belt — someone who asked exactly the right questions and guided us through what we didn’t know to ask — was invaluable. He’s not just talented at what he does; he’s kind, patient, and genuinely invested in making your day special. After just one evening together, it felt like we’d made a friend for life. I would recommend Jason and Crucial Entertainment without hesitation a million times over, and then some. Thank you 🙏

about songs we wanted to hear, songs that were requested, and most importantly, songs we *didn't* want to hear. I absolutely adored working with her. She even matched her outfit to our wedding colors! An absolute delight and super reliable. I definitely recommend her to any and all looking for a DJ for their big day.

ur 3-5 year old little cousins to my 90 year old grandfather. He was also a great MC and kept everything running smoothly during the reception. We are so thankful for everything Jason did for us to make our day so amazing!

ng at weddings is usually not one of our favorite parts of the wedding as guests, so we weren't expecting to enjoy being on the dance floor at our wedding very much, but it was one of the best parts of the day because Jason did such a great job playing exactly the right songs to keep the energy where it needed to be. He also checked in with us as the bride and groom regularly to see if we needed anything or if we had any different requests. He's an excellent DJ and also just a really great guy. Our friends and family all thought he did an amazing job, especially my cousin who got to dance to all her favorite Taylor Swift songs. Jason is the absolute best and if you're thinking you want a DJ for your wedding in St. Louis, Jason is 100% your guy.

the house down with a lively mix that captivated the dance floor! I would highly recommend Gina and Crucial Entertainment for a wedding or any other event!

fectly!  Jason did my sister’s wedding in 2021 and mine in 2025. We are constantly getting compliments to this day on how amazing Jason made everything.  We have absolutely loved working with Jason and we cannot recommend him enough!!

to know her clients and our music styles before she arrives to your event, which we really appreciated! She wanted to ensure she created an evening that represented us and our music style, and she definitely did! I remember from our first meeting, she said, "This is going to be the wedding of the year!" It gave me butterflies! Gina absolutely delivered beyond our wildest dream! So many guests came up to me throughout the evening and the days after the wedding just raving about our DJ. The dance floor was packed all night! She read the room and played banger after banger which made it impossible to leave the dance floor!  Gina is the BEST DJ I've ever experienced. She is polite, professional, and so, very skilled at what she does. Her responses are prompt and detailed. It was an honor to have her expertise for our wedding reception! She made our reception more fun and lively than we could've ever dreamed! Highly recommend!!!

to be, especially during the last hour! We had so many compliments on our DJ from guests during and after the wedding. She was extremely professional and helpful- I remember being overwhelmed during the wedding planning process and our meetings with her really helped me find small details I had overlooked and think of new ideas that I had not before!

He went above and beyond!

made it happen without blinking an eye. Couldn't recommend her enough!

r guests dancing until the very end and we received so many compliments because of her. Gina was also very organized and easy to communicate with. She met up with us a few weeks before our event to do a final walk through which put us at ease. Gina even had the task of coordinating sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and executed them perfectly! I’d highly recommend Gina to DJ your next event!!

that me and my now husband had the opportunity to meet him before our big day and talk through timelines and details that were important to us. One of my favorite parts of the evening was when Jason helped us pull off a gender reveal! When we brought it up at our meeting, Jason seemed so excited to be a part of it and helped us make it truly memorable! Thank you Jason and Crucial Entertainment for your help making our wedding a truly memorable and joyful experience! I can not recommend you enough!

want, but she can definitely be trusted to pick any of the music! My cousin was performing live keyboard for the ceremony, and Gina worked with him to make that work logistically with no issues. Thanks, Gina!

ly cool human, she is super professional and organized and has an amazing setup. But most importantly, her DJ skills are off the charts. From start to finish, working with Gina was a fantastic, stress-free experience. My only regret was not getting the people at my party to dance sooner!

able to improvise based on the crowd and never missed a beat. Furthermore, he took the extra time to make sure our day was perfect. He brought us drinks while we finished up pictures. He literally made our dinner plates for us (it was self-serve). He stayed late for us to have a last dance once everyone cleared out of the venue. I really can’t say enough about him and how thankful we are. Do not hesitate to book him, whether for a wedding, party, etc.

everything which I appreciated (it felt a lot better than doing it over a phone call). I had made a bunch of Spotify playlists and he was able to help me edit them for all of the different parts of the ceremony/reception (including all of my crazy specific requests like walk-up songs for speeches, making mash-ups of certain songs, playing a Greek dance for my mom etc.). On the day of the wedding Jason was incredibly helpful - my sister officiated the wedding (her first time) and Jason helped her navigate the ceremony and even stepped in to announce where the cocktail hour was and that family should stay for photos. As the MC, he kept the whole night flowing seamlessly and provided a great vibe as the host. I am still getting compliments about the dance floor from guests two weeks later - multiple people told me that this was the only wedding they have been to where they didn’t sit down once or skip a song! The dance floor was popping all night and Jason even handed out our glow sticks for us and kept my husband and I hydrated (both with drinks & ice cold H2O!) We bonded so much throughout this process that I am literally going to recommend him to all of my friends, family, and loose acquaintances. I could not recommend Jason at Crucial B more!!

t getting the vibes right at your wedding. We heard every song we wanted and more. Everyone (even old people) were out dancing at our wedding. I was having the time of my life thanks to Gina. Her set up was so classy and did not detract from our elegant wedding. We also loved supporting a female DJ. Women are just so reliable, organized, and better at most things (let's be honest). If you want a SUPER lit wedding--hire Gina!!

The little things he did throughout the day were getting us a plate of appetizers or else we would have never gotten any and he also went through the buffet line with me (the bride) to make me a plate. My mom asked the day of for him to play a clip of a song during her speech and he nailed that. Also throughout the night, he wasn’t just a DJ but also a “host” for the transitions from each activity to the next which helped keep everyone engaged! He took control of the reception and I was just able to sit back and relax- which was awesome because I didn’t have a wedding planner. He even put a short video together of pictures from his point of view from the night. Lastly, he brought us some homemade apple butter!!

t above a beyond to make sure our day met our vision. I was especially appreciative that she custom-cut our first dance and my dance with my dad and provided those to us so we could practice. She ensured all my and my dad’s favorite verses were included and sounded seamless - no cheesy fade-out. She kept our guests engaged and on the dance floor and even created a new family wedding tradition by playing one of our family’s “must play” songs as our exit. Gina is incredibly affordable for the level of service she provides and we couldn’t be more thankful for how thoughtful, helpful, and fun she was on our big day!

met with her virtually twice before the wedding to go over all the details and her online portal makes it super easy to select all the songs. We got married at a summer camp that required three different sound set ups for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing and Gina worked with our coordinator to make it absolutely seamless, everything just happened perfectly without us having to lift a finger. Our guests were partying it up on the dance floor until the very end of the dancing portion and we got so much feedback that everyone had an amazing time. Something I love about Gina is she doesn’t leave a song on too long, she switches it up often and it keeps everyone on their toes. Highly recommend her for any engaged couples looking for their wedding DJ!

s on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. Gina was also dressed extremely professional and was very attentive to my husband and me! Leading up to the wedding she was easy to get a hold of, very flexible for our needs and wants, and made sure all our requests were executed. On the day of, Gina would come over and make sure we were okay throughout the night like making sure we had drinks and we were overall happy. From the day we booked her, she has been amazing. If you can get Gina, DO IT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Promise!!!

l, and brought energy and fun to the event. The guests danced all night, and the dance floor was packed the whole time.

eing a great DJ, he went out of his way to get us food and drinks. He kept the dance floor going all night long and brought great energy. People kept commenting on how good he was, and after the wedding people have been asking us for his info. We would 100% recommend him!

n picking songs, what order to do things in, and how to make our reception a party for our guests. His DJ’ing was great; he mixed the songs transitions seamlessly , added his own song choices based on our music style, and kept the dance floor alive all night!

or/part outdoor summer wedding and reception, and he was ready with two set-ups, so we could be flexible depending on the weather. A wedding DJ isn’t just in the background playing music: he’s really your MC for the event— introducing the wedding party as they come into the reception, keeping the flow of events running smoothly, making sure no one is just standing around bored, etc. Jason was amazing in this role! He was personable, organized, and had everyone enjoying themselves on the dance floor! He even gave my sister some DJing lessons and let her choose some songs! He and our wedding coordinator and our venue all worked so well together, and they commented how happy they are when they have events with him. Highly recommend!

tions were amazing, she was amazing with the song transitions and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. She was great to work with and went out of her way to make our day unforgettable. I will be recommending her services to any and all of my friends and family. She had excellent communication and answered any and all of our questions we had. She is a top choice and one of the best! Thank you so much again and take care! Kirsten and Andrew

was so great throughout the evening helping to keep up on schedule. He also went above and beyond by personally coming over to make sure me and my husband were having a good time as well as getting creative to get the guests on the dance floor. Cannot recommend booking Crucial Entertainment enough!

o easy to work with, thoroughly prepares with great attention to detail, and creates a wonderful atmoshpere and flow for your whole evening. She is a must- have on your wedding team!

so thoughtful through the day and entire planning process. He completely took the stress away of the reception timeline and he kept the party going all night long. Would 10/10 recommend to a friend.

reception timeline for us and even made sure we went to eat. I'm so happy with the experience and highly reccomend Gina for your event!

ct and exactly what we were looking for. She knew the perfect songs to keep the dance floor full all night long and our guests couldn’t say enough good things!

orking with her. She is so approachable but professional, so chill but energetic. Gina even connected us with a performer for our after-party! She operates a well-oiled machine while also customizing everything for your special experience. We felt like Gina "got us" off the bat. She reviewed our Spotify playlists (plays/don't plays), kept things moving with only the best parts of songs, and avoided all the stereotypical cheesy DJ bits. Bonus: we weren't even hungover the next day because we couldn't stop dancing to excessively imbibe! Your search is over - book now!

things and even took time to check on us during the reception to make sure we were doing okay. She kept things on track and when the dancing started, she made sure there was never a lull! She picked perfect music and incorporated all of our favorites. Our friends and family have all commented on how great the music was, and I would highly recommend her for any event - you won't regret it!

th said we need her contact info and my friend wasn’t even engaged yet. She now has her booked for her upcoming wedding!!!

wide variety of music. We're so happy we chose Crucial Entertainment for our wedding!

nd more. He went above and beyond. Even when we had logistical speed bumps he kept the crowd laughing and the mood happy. We had people coming up to us on the dance floor raving about him and how fun he was. We’ll be recommending him to all of our friends and hope to see him at every single wedding in our future. Thanks Jason!!!

game! Everyone said how great the music and sound were. Anyone looking for a DJ for ANY event, definitely needs to hire Crucial, no questions about it.
