ghter-in-law found Perry on The Knot. I went with her to her hair and makeup trial. Perry was professional. He listened, asked questions, and he made us feel comfortable. He’s very personable and very easy to get along with. On their wedding day, Perry was punctual, professional, made my daughter-in-law not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful. He went beyond what he was hired to do. Not only did he help get my daughter-in-law ready for the wedding, but he bustled every single one of the girls dresses. He helped me make sure my dress was perfect and he wasn’t even hired to work with me at all. Perry is the best of the best. Fast forward to now. My daughter just got married September 12, 2026. When my daughter got engaged, the first person we contacted was Perry. We needed the best and we got the best.  Perry did all of the girls hair makeup, including us moms. He fit right in with us. He was a joy to be with. He’s funny, personable, very likable. He made everyone look their very best. In addition, Perry did something very unexpected. He took behind the scenes photos and videos of the morning and captured the most amazing moments I will treasure forever. Those moments that I had with my daughter that I will never forget.   Perry did touchups in between photos leading up to the ceremony. He helped my daughter with her train everywhere she went. Again, making sure the bride was the center of attention and got her everything that she needed. I would definitely use Perry again. Look no further, hire him NOW!

ll. Perry goes above and beyond his job responsibilities, he captured some beautiful behind the scenes photos and videos of me and my party getting ready. He also was helpful in fixed my train and veil for some of the photos before the ceremony. He stays the entire time before the ceremony to help with any touch-ups needed prior to the ceremony and is nothing short of wonderful. Not only is he great at his job and SUPER helpful but he is also just a hoot to be around. I recommend him to anyone getting married.

Perry and his assistant Ally handled hair and makeup for a very large group that included bridesmaids, groomswomen, mothers, our grandmother, and several extra additions along the way, and every single person felt beautiful, cared for, and completely at ease. The schedule ran smoothly, the energy in the room stayed relaxed and fun, and somehow Perry managed to make everyone look like the very best version of themselves while still feeling natural and authentic. What sets Perry apart is that he doesn’t just “do hair and makeup.” He understands people. He understands moments. He understands how important these memories are and treats them with so much care. His work is timeless, elegant, and camera-ready without ever feeling overdone. As the mother of the bride, I cannot adequately express what a gift it was to have someone I trust so deeply helping us prepare for such a special day. Perry helped create the atmosphere of the entire morning, and that peace and confidence carried with us throughout the wedding. There are talented artists everywhere. But people like Perry — who combine artistry, experience, warmth, flexibility, and heart — are rare. Hiring him was one of the very best decisions we made for the wedding weekend.

Not only was he extremely helpful to me and my mom, but he took beautiful behind the scene photos, as well as helping our groomsmen with their boutonnieres and making sure everyone looked amazing before walking down the aisle. Perry made my wedding day even more special by making my Mother, my daughter, my bridesmaids and me feel beautiful and, most importantly, relaxed. He's SOOOO calm! Perry accompanied us to my wedding venue and stayed until the ceremony where he did hair and make up touch ups for the pre-ceremony photos. Perry also helped make the pre-ceremony photos fun by doing creative things with my cathedral length veil. Oh, and, he gave me a rechargeable clip on fan that I almost forgot to remove prior to the processional! It was a nice, unexpected gesture that was truly appreciated. So kind. Perry also helped several of the wedding party with wardrobe issues and straightening a boutonierre. Don't waste time interviewing hair and makeup professionals as Perry is your guy!

end who has allergies to a lot of products and he took the time to ensure she wouldn’t have an allergic reaction.  Perry made sure he did touch ups on us after photos and before the ceremony. He stayed to watch me and my husband  ski down and even made a cute little reel for us! I was so so touched. He texted me to check-in day before, day of and day after. Make up was flawless and if I need another makeup job, he’s whom I am going to. Professional and truly caring! 

He traveled to me for all three, including the engagement shoot and welcome party which were both times where only I was getting my hair and makeup done. I really appreciated that he was willing to do that rather than make me come to the salon as many HMU artists do for one-off services. I loved all three looks and thought each was perfect for the occasion. He did an especially great job with the Indian-style hair and makeup for the welcome party - in fact, he affixed and hid the chain for the tikka so well that even my family from India was impressed. On the day of the wedding, he did a beautiful job with hair and makeup for an ethnically diverse bridal party (and even helped the groomsmen when they wandered in a bit confused about their tuxes). He also stayed with me through all the pre-wedding photoshoots and did touchups right until I walked down the aisle. It was such a huge help to have him there as an extra set of eyes during the photoshoots, fixing my veil and jewelry and making sure my hair wasn't out of place. He also took many adorable "behind the scenes" photos that are precious memories of the day. Overall Perry was one of the best choices I made in terms of vendors and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a calming, steady presence on their wedding day!

Super fun to be around, my entire wedding party found him to be a delight. He went above and beyond to make the day special, even helped me carry my lehenga skirt up a hill to the ceremony space. Im eternally grateful for that. 100/10 would reccomend to any bride!

entional. He vastly surpassed my expectations. One of the things I loved most about Perry’s work is that he enhances natural beauty without making wedding parties appear overly made up. Perry was responsive and courteous in all of our interactions, from my initial inquiry, to our call for him to understand more about my wedding and style preferences, to my trial with him, to the day of my wedding. One of the things that sealed my decision to choose Perry as the stylist for me, my mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids was his feedback that “as long as you have hair, I can style it” because I had let him know that I am extremely self-conscious about my fine hair. I so appreciated Perry’s kindness and sense of humor, especially in regard to my sassy and energetic senior rescue dog. Perry has was also very flexible with an unexpected change in our wedding date a few weeks after we had originally booked him for October 2025. Perry arrived right on (even a little ahead of!) schedule on our wedding day in August 2025. He and his assistant, Niaz, worked seemingly effortlessly on hair and makeup for our group amidst the usual day-of wedding chaos ensuing in our hotel suite. I had the stomach-dropping realization when Perry asked for the hair clips I’d purchased for my wedding that I’d left them at home. His calm response was to ask me to have the valet bring his car up since he had extras that actually were a perfect (as in, MUCH) better fit for the style of my dress than my own hair clips.  Finally, Perry came to the church to affix my veil - a family heirloom - into my hair and to do final makeup touch-ups just before the wedding. During my hair and makeup trial six months earlier, Perry had made a recommendation for how to alter the veil slightly to make it fit into my hair and even spoke with a tailor to guide him through what to do when I brought it to a shop to be altered.  Long story short, my wedding party and I would absolutely recommend working with Perry.

Perry was thankfully available for my time frame and agrees to working on my large wedding party (7 total) with the help of an assistant. His communication was always quick/same day for text/email/and phone calls and made sure to be clear about his needs for the makeup/hair trial and day of service. He's a consummate professional and always made me feel comfortable and heard, working with a variety of ages and genders for my wedding day. I had to change my location for where to get ready a couple days before the wedding and quite distraught over it, but when letting Perry know he quickly came up with a fantastic alternative that worked better than my original location. The quality of service was outstanding, he arrived early for my day of the wedding and after making sure myself and the wedding party were happy with our looks, he even came to the venue to stay with us until I walked down the aisle. He made last minute adjustments to ensure we looked our best, helped my bridesmaid's husband tie his tie properly, and had such a calm and fun presence throughout the day. The NoVA area is notoriously expensive and as my budget was nowhere near the norm, this was a major concern of mine when booking all the various services. The value of Perry was extremely high quality for the price, an excellent value! His artistry, patience, flexibility, and lovely personality makes him the ideal person to book for one's event. Highly recommend!
