ppier! First of all, the photos all turned out spectacularly. Our friends and family all commented on how beautiful the photos turned out. And they were really easy to work with. I didn't come to my wedding day with a ton (or any, really) big ideas of what types of poses and pictures I wanted... I just let Elizabeth and John direct everything and take the photos they thought would be best. I'm glad I let them use their judgement! It was really important to me to have high-quality, beautiful photos to remember our day... we were not let down. They were also both really friendly, relaxing people in general, and did not add any stress to an already busy/stressful/exciting day. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great photographer!

Their individual styles of photography compliment each other so that every picture you get is something different and equally beautiful. We are really going to have a hard time narrowing down our pictures to make an album, but I'm so happy that I get to re-live my wedding day whenever I want through their photos. This truly was one of the best investments we made for our wedding day and we highly recommend Elizabeth and John.

In additional to the usual wedding photos, my wife and I came up with several editorial style photos we wanted to take with the bridal party. Elizabeth and John were not only open to discussing these ideas with us, they were thrilled to collaborate creatively and work together on my wife’s unique vision. We asked a lot of them on our big day, and they came through with flying colors. They are a great team that work together and apart. Many photos they took together, but when everyone is getting ready Elizabeth spends time with the girls while John is with the guys. Their styles cover two different approaches, which is awesome because together you get everything you could ever need. Elizabeth is editorial in style and John is more of a capture the moment photographer. They are easy to work with, easy to talk to and super fun people to have around on your wedding day. Their work speaks for itself, just take a look at their website and blogs. And for those couples that don’t have a specific vision for your photos, they bring a lot of really awesome ideas to the table and a wealth of experience to make sure your wedding day is beautifully photographed.

our special day. They were very responsive from before we selected them to months after our wedding. They were glad to customize their packages to substitute photography of our rehearsal dinner in lieu of engagement photos since we live far away. When it came to the day of, they had worked with us to prepare a down to the minute itinerary of where each of them would be and they arrived on time at each location. Then when one of our planned photo locations was closed due to some type of event, they suggested a special place on Mt. Washington where our favorite pictures ended up coming from. As far as prices go, wedding photography is expensive, but we found Elizabeth and John's prices to be more than competitive with others in the area. They were able to provide both of their services for less than we saw other single photographers asking. It was also important to us to know exactly who would show up on the day of, versus the uncertainty that may come working with a large studio with many photographers on staff. Working with Elizabeth and John you know exactly who will answer your email or pick up the phone, as well as who will be snapping the shots throughout your big day. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

I wasn't in "I found my photographer!" heaven and ultimately decided after meeting with a few others to move forward with Craig (the others did not even compare). From the very beginning they were very responsive, kindly straight forward, and easy going. Prior to our wedding day, Elizabeth went above and beyond recommending places nearby our home to take our first glance photos, offering to visit to place to survey (this was awesome!). The husband/wife combo really went a long way for me too. They worked together so well while one was shooting one type of shot, the other was shooting something entirely different. The end result of our photos were AMAZING. On our wedding day, it was 95 degrees outside and we did our glance shoot prior to the ceremony. I was so concerned because we were both visibly sweating (I'm talking major sweating) and YOU CANNOT EVEN TELL in the pictures - they are THAT good. I highly recommend Elizabeth and John to anyone and everyone out there. They will not disappoint.

They are INCREDIBLE! The detail that they captured is unbelievable. Except for the pictures we took right after our ceremony, I don't remember seeing either one of them (they are a husband and wife team) the entire night. I had my wedding photos less than two days after the big day, and for a bride that was the best gift I could ask for. I looked through more than 900 photos immediately. I fell in love with photo after photo. My husband does not smile using his teeth ever, and they captured him in the pure real big teeth happy smile that I try so hard to capture on camera. You can see the love between us, the excitement in our guests eyes, and the joy and sense of pride illuminating from our parents. Elizabeth and John captured every moment from our wedding day perfectly, our wedding story is told from our photos and if you weren't there you can sense the emotions of the day just from our photos. Elizabeth was so great that even when the wedding gift I got for my husband was stolen (yes during our wedding) she helped me figure it out and replaced it. I can say so much more about the quality of their photos, their responsiveness, and their professionalism. They made me comforrable and our guests. such an amazing personality (we didn’t meet Jon initially, but he’s great too!) and we knew she was the right person to photograph our wedding. A few months before our wedding we did an engagement session with Elizabeth. It was a lot of fun and a great way to get to know Elizabeth a bit before the big day. Elizabeth also helped us create an awesome album from the engagement photos that served as a guest book for the wedding. Throughout the process, she was great about answering the phone and returning calls and emails. On our actual wedding day, Elizabeth and Jon were great. They were relaxed, non-intrusive and did such a great job handling all of the requisite family photos. And of course, we LOVE our photos – and so do all of our guests! Most of all, during the reception they came to us and asked if we would mind taking more portraits around our hotel venue because they wanted to make sure we had the photos we wanted. The wedding day was great! One great thing about the Craig's is that they give you the rights to the pictures they take, so you can take your cd wherever you want to get pictures made and do not have to buy directly from them. We got the highest package, 3800 dollars, but it was well worth it. That included our wedding album, 2 parent albums, and the photos. AMAZING. All I can say is that if you live in the Pittsburgh area, you should contact these two. You won't regret it.

Everything I asked for, I got.. and they knew to take pictures of everything I didn't think to ask for. They had great ideas for where to take pictures and knew what locations and angles worked best with our surroundings. I would highly recommend having both of them. They are both amazing photographers and you're getting two professionals, not one assistant like many other photographers have. Elizabeth was able to take all of the posed pictures and while everyone was looking at her John was floating around taking pictures from different angles and taking candids of us when we weren't paying attention. The pictures he took when nobody was looking turned out to be some of my favorite from the day. They were so helpful and really made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I would HIGHLY recommend Craig photography. You won't be able to find such great photographers at such a great price.
