Couture Closet

utiful and special as every bride should, but they knew I was on a tighter timeline and helped me find my perfect dress that was also in stock and in my size for a quick turnaround to get my dress fittings underway. It also helps that they are in the cutest location with other great shops to look at while you are in the area. Added bonus, they steam the dress you purchased for them for free before the wedding.

ough that I was the only bride in the store for most of my experience. I also really appreciated that they weren't just trying to sell me something. They really cared that I find my dream dress and were so kind and amazing. They also steam your dress for free the week of your wedding if you bring it in. I visited several bridal dress boutiques, and they were by far the best one.

ginal dress and helped me figure out how to fix it. So thankful for them! Highly recommend!

ped me find the perfect dress. They are extremely knowledgeable in their inventory. I found my bracelet and hairpiece there too. I was helped at every step of the process, from alterations to steaming the dress right before my wedding. I didn’t know how important my wedding dress would be to me until I found it at Couture Closet.

t sounds, I really felt like I was on an episode of "Say Yes To The Dress" (in a good way)! And what happened to me is rare! I had fallen in love with a dress & realized it was the same wedding dress my best friend would be wearing in her wedding the next month. I was heart broken & thinking I wouldn't find anything to compare or I'd never get that "feeling" again. The consultant I worked with felt awful, she sent me so many more options that were absolutely beautiful. In the end Tera & Lauren suggested looking at the same designer of the dress I loved & told me to pick some, & they would do their best to find it. They went above & beyond & had the dress I was hoping would be the one brought in. Everything fell into place with their help. I could not be more grateful I found the dress of my dreams & from the moment I put it on, I knew it was truly made for me. I got "the feeling" again & so much more!

hen I tried on my dress and I couldn't stop smiling. Then I got to walk around the salon to make sure I was 100% happy. I also got my veil to match from here. I would recommend to everyone to at least make an appointment and try some dresses on with them

tyle in mind. Lauren was so helpful and encouraged me to try a few of each dress type to find my style. I returned the next weekend with my future mother-in-law and best friends and got my perfect dress! I also bought beautiful jewelry and my veil in the salon a few months later. Lauren also provided a list for bridal alterations. I've told several friends to go visit Couture Closet before any other bridal shop.

als for me. I could not be more pleased.

ision I had for my dress. Tera pulled a few dresses that she thought matched my vibe, and the very first dress I tried on ended up being the one. I could not recommend Couture Closet any more highly.

finally landed on your doorstep. Thank you so much for making me feel welcome, comfortable, and beautiful. I don't think I would have had the nerve to purchase the dress that I got from you (so late in the game) without your kindness and encouragement. You let me know exactly which designers could get the gown to me in time for the wedding. I love that you didn't want to express any of your bias, and wanted the choice to be all my own. I'm so glad to see a female owned business run by such amazing ladies located in LaGrange. Thank you so much for making my wedding day so special, and for helping me to get excited about it.

atient and encouraging as I tried on the widest range of dresses!! The price ranges were also more approachable than some other shops I went to in Louisville, KY. I was able to bring a good group of my sisters, friends, mom, and mother-in-law with me as well. We had a great experience. Additionally, the Couture Closet staff was so helpful in recommending alterations, steaming my dress the week of and coordinating a pick up. They made it all SO easy. Thank you to the Couture Closet staff!! perfect dress.

being pushy at all. I’m definitely going to tell all future brides that this is a must go!

ed. Tera and Lauren were so welcoming and create a wonderful environment from the moment you walk in. The knowledge and experience they have in helping you find the right dress leaves you feeling confident. We were never rushed, even as we kept them past closing. They reached out to designers to ask them customization questions and got back to me as soon as they heard back. I was so happy to say yes to the dress here! I highly recommend visiting Couture Closet for an amazing dress shopping experience.

s was absolutely beautiful and didn't break the bank. Highly recommend!!

esses. It was a dream come true. There were so many gorgeous gowns to try on, and I think I sampled a little of every bridal style available. The staff was friendly, put no pressure on the sale, and made sure I was 100% happy with my dress. Additionally, they had recommendations for alteration studios, dry cleaning, and any other needs my dress would have. I loved my experience, and encourage you all to become CC Brides!

stened and understood exactly what i was looking for. great selection to choose from. this was the best dress shopping experience i’ve had and it was so effortless!

and enjoyable. And she was so helpful providing lists of seamstresses. Overall a wonderful experience! Would recommend them to everyone!

second I walked into the boutique I instantly felt welcomed, relaxed, and excited about the experience! These ladies are the best! They listened to my wedding dress vision and took it a step further to exceed my expectations! They also encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and try a variety of different dresses until I was sure of the one I wanted. They even helped me customize my dress when ordering so that I could make it exactly how I wanted. I truly felt like a Queen in my dress, and I could not have done it without Couture Closet!

great job at helping me find my preferred style and designer and ultimately the perfect dress. They had great recommendations for alterations as well as a large selection of accessories. I couldn’t recommend this shop more.

out what I liked and what I didn't. She never rushed me and knew what dresses to pull that would be available for my quick timeline! I called back to actually order my dress, and Sarah helped me then and was also absolutely amazing and so helpful in answering my questions! Truly could not recommend them more! They have an amazing selection of beautiful gowns and an amazing staff to help you enjoy finding your perfect dress :)

most PERFECT dress for me! She made me feel comfortable the entire time, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She even helped me find the perfect veil and jewelry!

p you find YOUR dress. They don't stop at just finding you a dress. I was given a list of seamstresses for alterations. When my veil came in, Tera took it to the seamstress so I could see what it looked like with my dress. After the dress was altered she picked it up and took it back to have it steamed. There is no better place to go to look for your wedding dress.

nt and I was all set. They recommended a local seamstress for alterations and cleaned my dress the week before the wedding. Would 100% recommend!

tatives were friendly, upbeat and were so helpful when I was trying to find my perfect dress. Once I ordered my dress, the shop was extremely communicative about the progress being made on my shipment, helped me find the perfect veil and accessories and even stored them for me before the wedding. I would get married all over again just to find another Couture Closet gown!

dea of what type of dress I wanted. Lauren + Tera selected all of the styles I described and a few of their own that they thought I might like. I ended up choosing a dress I never would've picked if it weren't for Lauren and Tera! I picked a beautiful Madi Lane gown that was perfect for my beautiful Fall wedding. Nothing compares to the experience I had at Couture Closet. Also, the selection was beautifully selected and catered to every type of bride. Much love to Couture Closet!

of alterations ladies too!

option of dresses with great prices. The people working there are all amazing and very helpful! They definitely know how to make a bride feel incredibly special! The dress I got was so gorgeous and I even customized mine to have sparkles on it for a very very reasonable price!

ere incredibly helpful every step of the way! And not to mention every dress they carry is beautiful and unique!

erywhere in Louisville with no luck. Many consultants at these other places made us feel rushed and pressured and left me feeling 1) like I didn't have a chance to look at/try on all the dresses I wanted to and 2) would never find the right dress for me beacuse I was being too picky. These experiences made me appreciate CC even more. From the moment you walk in their beautiful shop in LaGrange, Tera & Lauren make you feel welcome and supported. They look at your Pinterest or inspiration before you even arrive and are prepared to help you find exactly what you are looking for (or help you create a custom gown if needed!). You get to have at least two full passes through the shop and the girls make sure you get to try on any and everything you want (even if you end up going over the allotted appointment time becuase you are super indecisive (; ). I left after the first visit torn between two gowns, and Tera even ordered a third to the shop that I had seen on one of their designers websites for me to try on. Tera never made me feel pressured or rushed but helped guide me in the decision process with kindness and grace. I made several return trips to pick out my veil and accessories and every one was as magical as the first. I finally got to wear my gown (chosen in September 2019) this summer (thanks COVID) and couldn't have been happier with it. The only negative is that now I don't have a reason to go to CC anymore! I would 100% recommend Couture Closet to every bride- you won't be disappointed!

talk about budget and all the not so fun stuff ahead of time so that when I got to my appointment all we had to do was try on their beautiful gowns. I initially went to check out a specific designer that they had in store and after Tera’s keen eye, awareness of what I wanted, and expert advice I realized I was trying to make a Pinterest dress fit me. She didn’t push anything on me but instead led with patience and all of the positivity until I landed on my dream dress! The only negative I can think of is that I’m one of the last of my friends to get married & cannot encourage (force) more of my friends to shop Couture Closet. Thank you for being the sweetest group of women who are all so full of positivity & beauty. 💕💕

ach bride who walks in their store and will do whatever it takes to help you find your dream gown. Go inside knowing that you’re in the best hands and you’ll leave feeling like part of their little family. I love the ladies here and can’t thank them enough!

ke the mask off when the dress was on and I was seeing the whole look! I felt they did a wonderful job balancing COVID precautions and the magic of shopping for my dress! They let me select all the dresses I wanted and offered to go back if needed for a second go around! I would do it all again, same place same awesome ladies!

before I needed my dress to take out-of-country, but they looked up all the dresses I picked out to see which could arrive in time. I was so happy with my dress and most importantly those who helped me feel special during my wedding!

ind. I was worried about feeling stressed, but she made the experience SO fun and relaxing. I also felt very safe the whole time with their COVID precautions. You definitely need to check this place out!

ard of inspiration because before you even go and meet with either Lauren or Tera they pull dresses they think meet your style. LET me tell you something they know what they are doing because Lauren had so many other options for me to try on besides the one I knew I HAD TO HAVE. Which by the way I emailed with them asking about this Lillian west dress I knew I wanted to try on and at least see and they made it happen for me. I know that had they not been able to get in the dress I would have found something just as beautiful because the first dress Lauren had me try on that had a cape I was already getting emotional but then when I FINALLY tried on the Lillian West Shooting Star dress that is when I lost it. It was the most beautiful dress I had ever seen/worn and it was about to be mine. Seriously so thankful for Couture Closet for helping me find my wedding dress and managing to get in a dress I knew I wanted to try on. Without them I would not have had the most magical wedding dress.

n dresses and I went in with an idea of what I wanted and Tera did amazing, she had me try on other gowns but did not push me out of my comfort zone too much. Tera also did a great job playing hall monitor with my family. She was so kind, I could go on all day. I said YES to the dress and I could not be happier.

, Sarah was the one that helped me pick out my dress and she couldn’t be sweeter and more helpful!

emorable experience and not just a shopping trip. They have such a beautiful collection and are very friendly!

to be my #1 hype girls in the most genuinely lovely and sincere way), the gals at Couture Closet made me feel so comfortable, so excited, and so beautiful - I cannot recommend their shop enough! Shopping here is unlike any other bridal shop experience I had: it was relaxed and unpretentious and where other places amped up my anxiety, the CC ladies have such a uniquely calm presence that I was instantly at ease. They carefully listened to my ideas, respected my budget, and worked with me to find the PERFECT dress. The staff is SO friendly, the store is beautiful and private, and the selection can't be beat (seriously, so many different styles for any kind of bride).

. I could not be more thankful to the ladies of Couture Closet for helping me find my dream dress – they never rushed my appointment and really made me feel like they truly cared about me finding the perfect dress, no matter how long it took. I would recommend any bride go to their shop – you won’t be disappointed!

alterations. Literally everything you need to make this part of the experience positive. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to anyone in this area.

erwhelming. I purchased my dress and veil from Couture Closet. I also rented a fur stole for my wedding day through them at a very reasonable price. I am so thankful that I found my dress at Couture Closet and could work with them throughout the wedding planning process!
