This was honestly the best experience I could have ever asked for. I initially went to another place recommended by the bridal shop where I bought my dress, and it was pure chaos—i...
nsanely high fees, no clear communication, and no one seemed to be on the same page.
Then I called Sharon, and she absolutely swooped in and saved the day.
Sharon altered two dresses for me and ultimately recreated both of them. I had purchased my wedding dress in September/October 2024, and between then and my second fitting in September 2025, I had been on a fitness journey and dropped almost three full sizes. Somehow, she made my dress fit perfectly. She is a literal miracle worker.
She also recommended a French bustle instead of a traditional bustle, and it added so much beauty, elegance, and class to the dress. Not only did it elevate the overall look, but it was also incredibly easy to bustle—something I was very grateful for on the day of.
By that point, I was also able to fit into my mom’s dress, which Sharon transformed into a shorter (but still formal) party dress—and it turned out absolutely stunning.
And honestly, had Sharon not taken the time to remind me how to properly hold my dress while walking, I would have face-planted more than once. That kind of care, experience, and attention to detail truly sets her apart.
I cannot recommend Sharon and her team enough. She is a rockstar in every sense of the word, and honestly, the only thing that proves it better than this review is the picture evidence.
I debated writing this, but I truly feel like other brides need to be aware before choosing to work with Sharon. My first fitting went fine, but when I went to pick up the dress, I...
tried it on and it was about four inches too small — nowhere close to zipping. Sharon admitted she had accidentally taken the fabric out of both sides of the dress instead of just one. I ended up sitting in her shop for over an hour while she tried to fix it, only to be told it wouldn’t be ready for another few weeks because it was “prom season.”
I was leaving for my destination wedding in Italy, so my mom had to return later to pick it up after I’d already left. Sharon packaged it up, and once my mom met me in Italy, we took the dress out to steam it — only to realize that a piece of the dress was missing. I called Sharon (she didn’t answer), and she eventually texted me saying she had found the missing piece still hanging in her shop. My wedding was the next day.
Thankfully, my mom worked with our hotel concierge to find a seamstress over an hour away who agreed to open her shop on a Sunday and hand-make the missing piece. My mom had to pay extra for this — on top of missing out on my wedding day brunch that same morning in order to get the piece.
After I shared a story on Instagram about this experience, five close friends reached out to say they had also had bad experiences with Sharon. I was frustrated no one had warned me — which is exactly why I’m writing this review. Her mistake created a crisis that could have been avoided with more care, and I wouldn’t want another bride to go through that. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I just want others to know what they might be getting into.
Sharon did an extraordinary job with my dress alterations. She went above and beyond by removing and reattaching all of the lacework as my dress had to be shortened - which sounded...
like a tedious process. The dress fit perfectly and she gave extensive instructions on how to put the dress on and bustle it. She also made a beautiful veil for me. We met 3 times and she was accommodating with my busy schedule and living out of state. I highly recommend her work.
Sharon is so talented!! She did a beautiful job on my wedding dress which included adjusting the straps and bust area, adding in cups, shortening the length (which had a stiff hors...
ehair edging), and creating a french under-bustle. She is very detail oriented which I loved and knew she would take the time to make my dress look perfect. She was so sweet to work with during my fittings and I ended up purchasing a hair piece from her as well to wear during my reception. I'm so glad I trusted her for this special and important dress!
Sharon did an amazing job on my wedding dress alterations. We had multiple sessions in order to get the bust just right (it was a tricky one!) Often when we met, she would tack the...
dress, alter it right in front of me, have me try it on again, and repeat this cycle multiple times until it was perfect. She truly went above and beyond to make sure my dress fit my body perfectly. I am so thankful for her.

Sharon came recommended to me through Urban Bridal where I bought my wedding dress and she was fantastic to work with! She had such a good eye for details and made me feel immediat...
ely that my dress was in good hands. She also was so kind and fun to chat with during my appointments! I was really unsure how my dress would look bustled but Sharon created the most beautiful bustle for my dress and I almost liked the dress even more once it was bustled because it really highlighted the flowy princessy shape of the dress. Sharon also took care and time to have me do one last fitting the Friday before the wedding just to make sure everything felt good. I would highly recommend Sharon to others!
I echo what everyone else said. Sharon is obviously one of the very best in the business but she still makes you feel like her top priority no matter what. She filled in a little s...
heer spot in the front of my dress so well that it looks like it came that way. She also designed and executed the look of the detachable sleeves that came with my dress. I’m so glad that I went to her!
Sharon was LOVELY! Even though she's obviously in high-demand, she made me feel like I had her full attention, and she did a beautiful job adding several bustle points to my *very ...
heavy* dress! She even added an extra clasp on the back of my dress for me because she noticed the one I had was looking a little weak. Thank you Sharon!!
Absolutely loved working with Sharon for my wedding dress alterations! I had used her previously for bridesmaid dress alterations, and she is absolutely amazing to work with. She a...
lso referred me to the bridal salon that I used as well! She does amazing work and is reasonably priced- best of all she is totally upfront with her pricing. She told me exactly what I would pay when I took my dress in for my first fitting and had it ready just a few weeks later. I would recommend her to anyone!
Sharon did the alterations on my rehearsal dinner dress, wedding gown and my mom's mother-of-the-bride dress. She did a wonderful job on all three and we were so pleased with the e...
nd result! The bustle she made for my wedding gown was stunning. She also has great advice about emergency day-of items to have on hand. It was a great experience overall!
