Cannot believe The Knot is still allowing this man to offer his venue. A year later he still owes us our deposit of 2k back due to cancelling our wedding. The city shut them down y...
et he never communicated that with us we found out via FB. There are other couples whom he owes much more money to. Stay away.
Really wish that I could leave zero stars, this venue does not deserve one star. Booking this venue has been, by far, the WORST experience!! Around February 2025 we toured this ven...
ue and absolutely fell in love with it. So, we booked it. We wanted the full weekend, so we put down a $7500 deposit. A couple of months later I see on FACEBOOK, NOT EVEN HEARD FROM THE VENUE!!, that Shiawassee County shut this venue down due to incorrect zoning. We have been fighting with the owner to get our refund back, as well as DOZENS of other couples. This venue has not been given the ok to re-open. Do not book with this venue. Many couples have filed in Shiawassee County small claims and have won their case, however, Beau is not paying. Do yourselves a favor and do not book with this venue.
I genuinely wish I could give them 0 stars.
our experience with this venue has been completely unacceptable.
Less than 40 days before our wedding, we found out the venue had bee...
n shut down due to zoning and code issues and an ongoing court case! —and they didn’t even notify us. We were left scrambling at the last minute to find an entirely new venue for one of the biggest days of our lives.
As awful and stressful as that was, what’s even more frustrating is that over a year later, we still have not received our deposit back. We have repeatedly tried to get our money returned and have been dodged, ignored, and given the runaround.
Having your wedding venue fall through less than 40 days before your wedding is stressful enough. Having to spend the following year chasing down money that should have been refunded when they could no longer provide the venue we paid for is beyond unacceptable.
I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company or its owners. Our experience has been nothing but stressful, unprofessional, and disappointing. At this point, we simply want the money that is owed to us returned.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. THE VENUE CANCELLED MY EVENT 8 DAYS BEFORE IT WAS SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY DEPOSIT BACK. We had to book another venue and of cou...

We booked and gave my $2500 deposit in 2024 for our wedding in for August 16 2025. Come to find out there were come legal issues that caused the barn to close. They NEVER once cont...
acted me about this issue. I had to find out from a friend via a local newspaper article. I have called the number provided multiple times left voicemails, and contacted the owner personally, and have heard nothing. Additionally, I contacted the event coordinator and she states she has no affiliation with the venue anymore. (We knew her on a personal level). Nevertheless, I have had contact with her in March and April, and she never once said anything to me about any of this going on. So who knows if we’ll get our deposit back. Lastly, I sent invitations out 2 weeks ago, and now have to not only change my wedding date and find a new venue, but have to spend an extra $600 for new invites and send them out…. Again!
Never again. Very disappointed, hurt, and frustrated.

the tables in both dressing rooms were extremly sticky and it was disgusting, the bathrooms we had to stock ourselves, and there was a dead mouse by the bar and mouse droppings all in the bar. other than that it was perfect

remendously helpful. The value of this venue is amazing for all the amenities offered to their clients. Having a unique bar setup, a beautiful gazebo and ability to have a weekend air bnb rental on site completely goes above and beyond.

The stunning fireplace in the center of the building really brings the ambiance, and is a nice unique touch. I personally love the mobile bar made out or a repurposed horse trailer.
The property is also gorgeous! I love the gazebo on the pond island, and the bridge you walk to get there. There is tons of parking, and also plenty of photo opportunities anywhere you look! I would definitely recommend this venue to anybody.
I can’t say enough great things about this venue. My husband and I had to completely replan our wedding about 7 months before our date. When we walked into country barn estate, we ...
knew right away that it was exactly what we wanted. I am a wedding planner myself so I have pretty high expectations for a venue. I loved that it was a blank slate but had adorable features like the pond, horse trailer bar and bridal/groom suites. We could make it into the exact reception we envisioned. Bonnie helped us with every single request/question we had. 10/10 would recommend this venue to anyone/everyone.

did the full weekend package and were able to stay in the house on-site which made things a lot easier for the bridal party. Bonnie, the coordinator, was amazing to work with. She was super responsive and always answered any of our concerns. We got so many complaints about how gorgeous the grounds were and they are pet friendly! I definitely recommend Country Barn Estates!!
My fiancé and I were planning to have our celebration at country barn and estates . However, we ended up delaying our date to a future date . We were planning to do a Cannabis them...
ed celebration, which by the way Country barn & estates are fully open to & supportive of . In the year 2022 you would think more would be , but surprisingly not many are . So if this is a desire of yours as well , this might be the place for YOU .
We had planned to do the “white barn “ which is a beautiful space . Not only is it a very large space, you also have access to the cute little horse trailer bar & fireplace as well . Not to mention LOTS of outdoors space . The ceilings are a nice touch & the bathrooms were super cute !
The gazebo with the white bridge across the pond is the perfect place for ceremony or a place for guest to enjoy a moment under . We figured it would be the perfect spot for our cannabis bar . As a added bonus the guest house is also available. Which makes finding a place to stay after the celebration effortless .
The Coordinator Bonnie is a sweetheart & will go above and beyond to ensure your special day is nothing but flawless ! Upon learning a little about Bonnie , I learned it was her dream to do a job like this . So you know her heart and passion will be working for YOU . If you haven’t booked , BOOK now !
