Cory Ryan Photography

g events like maternity photos, newborn photos, and more, so choosing Cory Ryan photography for our wedding was the obvious choice for us. While Cory herself was booked for our wedding date, we had the opportunity to work with her business partner, Gia and were absolutely blown away by how talented she was! We used Gia for our engagement photos, bridal photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding! Not only did Gia take amazing photos, but she also made us extremely comfortable and was fun to be around for all of these events. She was extremely professional and in control and helped decrease stress during the event itself. We absolutely loved working with her! Cory also did such an amazing job with editing our photos and helping us put together a wedding album of our dreams! We are thrilled with how perfectly they captured these memories. I would recommend Cory Ryan Photography for any bride. You will be beyond happy working with Cory, Gia, or if you are lucky - both! We will definitely be using them for our photography needs in the future!

the day of. Even helping us find great photo spots in our resort. She went above and beyond for my family and I am forever grateful for the wonderful memories and moments that she was able to capture. I will never use another photographer!

and with all the precautions we needed to take, Gia and Cory were a complete joy to work with. Highly recommend them for any occasion!

. They are both so professional, kind, and organized. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of a camera, but both Cory and Gia made us feel at ease. Their ability to make us feel so comfortable resulted in the most amazing pictures! Not only did we get great portraits with the most impeccable lighting, we also got some amazing candids of our guests having a great time. I am so excited to receive our wedding album, because I know these photos will be even better in print! I cannot recommend Cory Ryan Photography enough to anyone getting married in the Austin area! Thanks Cory and Gia!

you will ever meet we had so much fun taking our wedding photos with her! We've loved every second of working with Cory!

uld be missed. So I am thankful that I have all these beautiful pictures to look back on! Everything I wanted, she delivered!!!

g we needed to have great photos to share with our loved ones and let me tell you, we didn’t get great photos, we got PERFECT photos! Cory didn’t just deliver PERFECT photos, she was so amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day. Everyone who has seen our wedding photos always comments how incredible our photographer is and we could not agree more! Cory, thank you so much! You captured the most perfect day in the most perfect way!

e timeline etc, as well as the vibe/mood of photos we wanted. At the wedding, she and her assistant were very cheerful and pleasant and did not feel intrusive at all. What seemed like just a day after the wedding, she already sent us a few sample photos that were gorgeous, and then about a month after the wedding she emailed us links to all of the photos as well as a slideshow that she had made and put to music. She also mailed a USB to us with all of the photos. The quality was AMAZING and really depicted what a beautiful, fun and loving event it was! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

ngagement-style pre-wedding and wedding photos during COVID and we could not have been more pleased with her skill and kindness. Grateful to you Cory Ryan.

ckyard wedding (thanks for changing our plans Covid!) a few weeks back. Cory quickly got back to me on my inquiry and was so prompt and easy to work with leading up to, during and after our event. Cory has a great eye, and the photos turned out amazing - really capturing the magical evening exactly how we'd hoped! Thanks Cory!!

ad to postpone our reception and just opted for an intimate wedding ceremony with a small set of family members. With Gia’s help, we were able to come up with plan to make our wedding day into something fun, memorable, and safe. Gia and Cory ended up taking our getting ready, ceremony, and bride and groom portraits while also incorporating our greyhound into our photos. We absolutely loved our pictures! Both Gia and Cory were super great to work with. They were friendly and professional, and I was so appreciative of how they were able to manage keeping my family organized without being bossy or rude. My husband I don’t even live in Austin but still hope to use them again for when we do or vow renewal. I highly recommend them!

oyable. She definitely put us at ease! On our wedding day, she and Gia did an incredible job making our vision come to life. They worked hard to capture all of the small details and the big moments throughout the course of the day. Every single photo is absolutely stunning. I cannot say enough great things about Cory and Gia - they were so much fun to work with and we look at their gorgeous photos daily. Would definitely work with them again!!

special day. They worked tirelessly at the ceremony and throughout the reception and as a result captured awesome expressions that tell the story. We are thrilled Cory was with us to capture this incredible day!

ading up to and at your wedding. We worked with Gia for an intimate at-home engagement session and then she captured the most INCREDIBLE photos on our wedding day. Somehow she was both invisible and everywhere at the same time. While Gia's work speaks for itself, what we most appreciate about her is how communicative she was with our families and wedding planner. She left no detail unplanned so we were able to get all the photos we wanted in the most perfect light. We can't wait to work with Gia again. Cannot recommend her enough!

away because I had been admiring her work online but getting the opportunity to actually work with her was an absolute treat. She is warm, friendly, professional, prompt, and FUN! She and Gia hustled all day working to get the best shots for us. They were so cool, calm, and flexible, even holding babies and herding our five flower girls. And boy, they did not disappoint. The photos they captured are so dreamy, beyond our expectations. Our friends and family are equally thrilled with them -- I have never received so many compliments before in my life! We can't stop oohing and ahhing over them -- such perfect photos to capture the perfect day. We highly recommend Cory for your special day!

e time, she was always incredibly organized and professional. She was always so much fun to ideate with and not only that but my bridals and our wedding day photos turned out gorgeous! Her expertise and experience were evident throughout the process and it showed with the end results. Highly recommend!

re. I don't mind getting my picture taken but my wife hates it and Cory made us both feel at ease and we actually had a good time at our sessions! Our pictures are stunning and something we will treasure forever.

re able to be ourselves. She had incredibly unique ideas on where to take our engagement pics, which was very helpful since we hadn’t a clue! At our wedding, her assistant and her were very stealth and captured the BEST moments without disrupting the party- which we appreciated. Cory captures very candid and special shots in the moment, which make for an amazing album. I couldn’t recommend her enough! I’ll be hiring her again in the near future, but this time for A BABY! 🙌🏻

cold time to take our photos, and there was potential for bad weather. Gia was checking the forecast everyday leading up to the day we booked, and reassured us that even if we had to move the date back they would do their best to squeeze us into their schedule as quickly as they could. We decided to move forward on the day we scheduled and I'm so glad we did. We needed our photos sooner rather than later, so they knew we were working under strict time constraints. Even though they told us it would take 3 weeks to edit our photos, we had them in our inbox 3 days later!!! They put in extra time to get them to us faster. I could not have been more pleased with the results. As I clicked through each photo my smile grew bigger and bigger. Gia captured US in a way that I didn't even think was possible. She is a pleasure to work with, knows what she's doing, and makes you feel comfortable. I cannot wait to work with her and Cory Ryan again to capture our future life moments!!

te it. But with Cory and Gia, we both had a great time and were able to get an incredible album of photos that we'll cherish for our entire life. They also got some epic shots of our friends on the dance floor that we'll likely be using as blackmail for decades to come. Thanks again for everything Cory and team!

its, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. I guess you could say that we are pretty OBSESSED with her and our photos. All of our photos are exactly what we wanted and even better than expected! Our house is now filled with Cory’s photographs and quite literally looks like a shrine to her/us. My husband and I rarely take photographs together and definitely do not know how to pose, but Cory put us at ease, gave us honest feedback, and helped us navigate our way through our new found modeling careers. All kidding aside, Cory knows what she is doing and delivers gorgeous photographs, both posed and candid moments. We had a colorful, vibrant, and modern Cinco de Mayo wedding at South Congress Hotel and Cory truly captured every detail and moment perfectly. I do not care for overly filtered or dull photographs, so Cory’s vibrant, modern and eclectic style was a perfect fit for me and shines perfectly in all of our photographs. Not only are her photographs amazing, but Cory has the BEST personality and I genuinely enjoyed working with her throughout the process and especially on my wedding day. She put me at ease and most importantly, kept me laughing throughout our wedding day and during all of our other photo sessions. Cory also delivered our wedding photographs earlier than I was so grateful. It is a bummer to come back from your honeymoon but the wedding photographs in my inbox certainly made my day. Cory is near and dear to our heart and my family absolutely adores her too. I’m so grateful to have found Cory and look forward to using her in the future to capture all of our big life moments to come. Thank you Cory for being the best part of my wedding day (other than my hubby)!

the wedding), I knew that she would be a great fit. She was able to assure me that anything I was worried about would be covered. On the day of, Gia and her assistant showed up right on time and began snapping away immediately since we were pressed for time to fit in getting ready photos. I felt comfortable immediately and her assistant got great photos of the guys getting ready nearby. They made sure to give us breaks before the wedding and after the ceremony so that we could cherish the moment rather than just focus on having our picture taken. Gia was great at rounding up our family members who seemed to wander off exactly when we needed them as well! We got our pictures very quickly after the wedding, they were able to view on the Cory Ryan site and on a USB key. We did not end up having the company print our photos or do an album just because I thought I could do it for cheaper myself (which may explain why I still don't have my albums put together three months after the wedding- my fault!). It's been a pleasure to work with them before, during and after the wedding, and I highly recommend Gia and Cory Ryan!

ough artistic whimsy to their detail shots. They are excellent at getting people to laugh and loosen up (and my husband and I really tested those limits! -- we tend to be very stiff and unnatural in photo shoots). There were several moments of the wedding that I wondered if they could possibly have been captured (like when a horse licked my nose in a couples portrait) and they were! Cory was so friendly, helpful, flexible, responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. She seemed a little out of our budget when we were first looking up photographers, but she was definitely worth every penny. I am so thrilled with the way she captured this day for us.

id our engagement photos at the Domain, and had our dog by our side the entire time. Gia was awesome at finding the best backdrops for our photos and brought out the best in us. Our photos were returned to us really quickly - just a few weeks after the shoot! Gia and her assistant did a wonderful job taking wedding photos at Ma Maison in Dripping Springs. They were flexible yet mindful of the schedule. They captured everything from the minute details (shoes, flowers, rings, table settings, you name it), to the massive group photos, to couple-in-the-bluebonnets photos, and awesome action shots of our first dance and guests having fun with glow sticks at the reception. Our photos were posted online quickly and well organized. We got our proof book and a very professional album that was customized to our liking soon after. We love how bright and vivid the pictures came out. We received many compliments on the photos from our guests, family, and vendors all thanks to Cory, Gia, and the team. Their services cost a pretty penny, but in the end, you get phenomenal service and quality photos of the biggest day of your life. To me, that's worth it.

y beginning, it consistently felt to us like Cory similarly prioritized us and what we wanted from our wedding photography. She made it easy for us to make decisions about what we wanted, at a time when there were way too many decisions to make! On the day of, Cory was such a pleasure to work with. Professional and knowledgeable, but also laid back and able to work with everyone! She eased our nerves about getting good photos while also helping us be ourselves. This feeling continued when we saw our photos. Cory managed to capture us at our most "us" times, and yet still have beautifully composed photos that made us look so darn good! No easy feat. We have been consistently pleased with the professionalism of Cory's company and her services. From the proof book to the USB to the printed photos to our beautiful wedding album, each and every product she produced was top notch, professional, and really stunning. Everyone who sees the album raves about it. In the end, our wedding would not have been the same without Cory. We're so happy with our final results and know we will revisit our photo album and the photos on the USB again and again, for the rest of our lives. Cory is one of the very best wedding photographers in Austin, and she was money well spent.

ed the golden hour to get gorgeous ceremony shots. She and her assistant were able to get all of our bride/groom photos and family photos done at one time and in a professional manner. They brought the list of shots we provided and worked through them very efficiently. It was important to us to have photos of all our wedding guests, but we didn't want to spend the entire wedding day taking staged shots. She and her assistant did a great job of snapping candids and posed pictures of all of our guests throughout the night - we are so grateful to have these shots. It took her just under a month to get us the digital prints - plenty of time to order gifts for people before the holidays. Note that she does not do a "sneak peak" type thing where she posts some photos on social media right after the wedding - this wasn't a problem for us. Also, there was a snafu in the scheduling of the wedding day and Cory was not able to make it to take my getting-ready photos. To ensure she provided the amount of photographer time we contracted for, Cory and her assistant stayed at the reception until nearly the end and captured some fantastic dancing photos.

e somehow made us and our families look awesome. She is upbeat and fun without being cheesy, she got us our photos within a couple of weeks and she helped us get organized and stay on track during the wedding. We did do some posed pictures with family and just us, but a lot of the pictures are candid shots of our guests, which are really cool. She did a great job with night shots, which can be tricky. She also worked with us on the package (we just wanted the files, no books). I highly recommend her and her team - well worth the $$$ for your big day.

he vision my husband and I had. In fact, she made it a priority. She's fun-loving, energetic and makes the process super fun. She also makes you feel comfortable and always makes you laugh!! We couldn't have been happier with how both our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out. What I loved is while she had so many of her own amazing ideas she was always open to new ideas. It's obvious her number one priority is making the couple happy. If you're looking for a modern photographer with pictures that are clean and crisp and sharp--she's your gal! We couldn't believe how many compliments we received on our photos. She always knows how to use the light to make you look as good as you possibly can on the big day-both natural light and when using a flash. She's easy to talk to and always gets back to you right away when trying to get in touch with her. I would highly recommend her--you won't be disappointed!

th- she is professional, organized, kind and full of great ideas. She was great at coordinating with us ahead of time to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She is also very detail oriented, which took some weight off my shoulders! We also got both sets of photos done way faster than I thought. Our photos are so beautiful and Cory's eye can't be beat. I would recommend her to anyone, not only because of her great skills, but her ability to capture great moments that really reflect the couple's personality.

ative than the standard wedding pictures while still capturing the classic wedding moments. We found that in Cory’s work and couldn’t be happier with all of our photos. She is fun to work with, makes you feel comfortable immediately, is creative and very personable. One of the other things we loved about Cory is her albums and other products. They are so creative, lively and very well made with attention to the finest details. We now have works of art out of our pictures that we can put on our coffee table etc. Her quality is the absolute finest and it shows in her end product. Overall Cory was extremely easy to work with from day one. She was very clear with her contract and flexible with customizing the package to what best fit what we wanted and our budget. She was quick to respond to anything that we needed and very thorough in her own information gathering to make sure she captured our wedding as we wanted. All of her staff and supporting photographers were incredibly professional and talented. I cannot recommend Cory Ryan enough! I can honestly say all the pictures from engagement photos to the wedding were a blast! Now the challenge is to figure out which photos will make our wedding album…there are too many good ones!

understood our vision and was able to capture our special day perfectly! She has a wonderful personality/energy, thus it was a lot fun to work with her (which is key, as you will be around your photographer for the majority of the day!). She also kept us on schedule in regards to wedding party/family photos. I highly recommend Cory's services, as she creative, organized, personable, professional, and highly skilled! A winning combination!

turned out beautifully and we have received rave reviews from everyone who has seen them. She was great at keeping us on our schedule and managed to fit in all the photos we wanted on a very tight timeline! If you are considering having a destination wedding, I would highly recommend using Cory -- she went out of her way to scout out the perfect locations for all of our photo sessions, and we probably actually got more creative photos using someone new to the area than if we had chosen a photographer who shoots in Park City every weekend!

to work with and made me feel extremely comfortable. For my bridal portraits, I had listed some great locations for the photos, but she told me she wanted me to come up with some great locations that were more unique to me. I am so glad she did.... I could not be happier with the portraits and the locations that we came up with. We also love the wedding photos. She was so professional and fun to work with. Half the time we didn't even see her! We were also pleasantly surprised when we got all of the photos back in about a month and how beautiful they turned out! She got some amazing pictures! She was quick, professional, and a delight to work with! Everyone loves the pictures! I would definitely recommend her!

anized leaving one less detail for us to worry about on our wedding day. Cory is very professional, punctual, creative, and truly seemed to care about what was most important to us. I was most impressed with the end product and after receiving all of our wedding photos. I felt like I was able to relive the wedding at a much slower pace. As everyone told us, try to take a step back and take it all in. Well, that seemed very difficult during the wedding as we were having too much fun. In the end, Cory captured the most important parts of the wedding and I felt the photos were a great representation of our wedding day and all it entailed. We enjoyed having Cory shoot our wedding and would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

ally chill and easy. I clicked with her focus on artistry but totally professional demeanor. Her assistant was also great. All told we ended up with hundreds of pictures that are totally beautiful and she got them to us in like a month or less. It was great to get the photos back so fast! I know that the photographer search is super crazy but I cannot recommend Cory enough!

of my portraits and the day of the wedding. Plus she made our large outdoor wedding look like something out of a magazine. We will have incredible photos to last a life time!

tos and would definitely recommend her to anyone.

o glad I listened. My husband scoured through tons of Austin photographers' websites and was not impressed until he came across Cory Ryan Photography. She will commemorate your wedding day with the most beautiful photos possible and was such a pleasure to work with. If you are lucky enough for her to be available on your wedding date, do not hesitate to book her immediately!!

l day. Her keen eye and use of light made our photos absolutely beautiful. We loved her! After the wedding she continued to be responsive to our questions and orders with prints, etc. We give her 5+ stars!!!

ght before - and she captured so many things that we missed! Really beautiful shots of our family and friends and all the little things that made our day special. A number of people have commented on how our photographer seemed to be "everywhere" all at once. We went into the wedding wanting a truly exceptional photographer because the photos are one piece that can be treasured for a lifetime (or longer), and we got that with Cory! She was personable, flexible, had great ideas and really has given us a wonderful gift with her outstanding talent. I recommend Cory wholeheartedly!!

mazing : )

rried in a private ceremony). And, she was on time, efficient, and didn't dilly-dally with anything. She used the most of our 2 hours to capture as many shots as possible, and was on top of everything. She was also quick with email responses. ...Great overall "customer service" (if that's the right word for it). She's a real pro! #2: She is also innovative and helpful (not pushy) in offering advice and tips. For example, we planned to marry outside, but the pouring down rain caused us to move indoors and she knew exactly where we should stand to capture great light. Moreover, she was prepared with rain guards and an assistant if we did still want to marry outdoors. We came with giant clear umbrellas, so it was really our call and she was down for whatever we wanted instead of pushing us in one direction! AND- I'm glad we took her suggestions!!! #3: She has a great attitude, which makes all the difference. Photos are going to capture your mood!!! If you have an irritating photographer or someone who looks like they don't want to be there, or someone who isn't smiling, or looks stressed, or isnt personable, its going to come through in photos. She made it comfortable and easy. For example, she was all smiles when we pulled up and it really made me excited. She was positive and reassuring that our last minute change-of-location was going to look amazing- and she was right. I actually think the photos were better indoors. The pictures looked magical, which is exactly what I wanted. #4: Her photos are not boring wedding photos. I also love the coloring of her photos. They are bright and vivid. We love them! #5: I felt that she was easy to talk to and understanding. For example, when I explained what I wanted the photos to feel like, she was open-minded and and had a "yes we can do that" attitude. #6: She was grateful and appreciative for my business!! I will definitively book her again, probably when i get pregnant! :)
