y. Questions always answered promptly. Very flexible and accommodating. Food? Incredible. 10/10. So many guests have since shared with us how delicious it all was, too. Timeline? VERY prompt. They know how to run a show!! Cost? Very cost effective compared to other similar country clubs, incredibly cost effective compared to venues in the city. Grounds/Venue? In late May, the grounds were perfect! Lots of greenery and flowers. The venue building itself was extremely clean and tidy, and the place is decorated very nicely even before your own decor is placed. The new bridal suite was superrrrr helpful - great place to stash your belongings, fix outfits, put your feet up, grab a cold water, charge your phone, etc. Staff? Our day of coordinator, Madeline, was so sweet, accommodating and helpful! She made the day go by so smoothly. All the other staff we interacted with were very nice and did a wonderful job. I seriously cannot recommend Cog Hill enough. I hope one day I can go to a wedding there as a guest lol!

From the moment we visited a year ago, through the tasting, to the day of, and down to the post wedding billing settlement, the staff are responsive, helpful, friendly. Shout out to Madeline who served as our point person: soft spoken but a powerhouse when it comes to getting things done! We took more of a DIY approach with our decor including florals, and CH staff were great about helping with that in the days leading up to the wedding. And kudos to Madeline for making our decor vision a reality! Wait staff, bartenders, and all other helpers were professional, friendly, and efficient. We chose the family style dinner option, with a la carte appetizer selections and late night snacks. Food was delicious and we received many compliments on both the food itself and the service. The bar is generously stocked. And having a secondary bar on the terrace is wonderful for a spring-summer wedding. And at the end of the night, a team of fast-moving young people did an amazing job of getting our “stuff” packed up carefully and efficiently. I wish I had more photos to post at this time but we are waiting on the photographer. I’ll include a couple here now. Bottom line: Not only is Cog Hill a solid value but also it is absolutely beautiful, and the experience was worry free! Highly recommend!

many Chicago area weddings and while many are stunning, Cog Hill was in our price range and truly blew us away with the value received. We now live across the country, and I was so relaxed because our venue was so communicative, positive, and willing to help. On a whim I knew I would be in town and Marissa made time to meet with my mom and myself and answered countless questions. We were so impressed by the centerpieces we rented through the venue, I'm so glad we did not go through the head ache of making them. The linens they rent looked phenomenal and there was an option for every single color palette. We were able to drop off materials prior and I was so beyond blown away by every single small detail the staff took care of it. Table numbers, signage, flowers, cake, sweets table, you name it. They set each and every thing up beautifully. Our vendors such as DJ and photographer made sure to mention that the staff at this location was so welcoming and so easy to work with. For me, I will always love the look of our reception. Our ceremony was stunning and it was a cherry on top that our 4 living grandparents were moved via golf cart during pictures and to and from the outdoor ceremony space. If I had to wedding plan 100x over, I would still choose Cog Hill and this amazing events staff.

The separate indoor and outdoor bar areas were great for letting our guests spread out. The dinner was delicious and many of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. The large variety of options at the bar was also a huge plus that many of my guests shared with me. I’ve been to other weddings at Cog Hill before and they consistently do a great job, I highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

The layout of the reception venue was beautiful, with lots of space for guests to mingle. It was especially breathtaking at Christmastime (when we had our wedding), and the space was filled with beautiful greenery and lights. for everything we got food/alcohol/time wise and they were flexible with us when we asked to adjust a few things which was wonderful! - it was so nice to have plenty of parking, plenty of space for our guests (our wedding was smaller 110) - we were able to finesse the layout to our preference since we had our ceremony in the main room which we really appreciated - the open bar was so great, and the bar is a nice space for cocktail hour, and they were wonderful about our specialty cocktails! - the food was 4/5, options are little dated, but classic for Chicagoland weddings. we skipped the soup course and the sorbet, just personal preferences and they were easy going about that too - the venue itself is nice, a classic golf course venue which I love as a golfer myself. I do wish they had updated the carpets and curtains, they really are colorful and neutral colors would be so much nicer to work with for all the different colors different weddings prefer. We highly recommend Cog Hill for an event! They were flexible, reasonable and we had a great time. We received compliments on the food and it was one of the least stressful aspects of the planning! our day was perfect. We worked with Serena and she was just great! The day before the wedding we dropped off a bunch of decorations and she was able to decorate the venue beautifully. She was always so positive too! The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive and polite. We are still getting compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how great food tasted! We couldn't recommend Cog Hill enough!

On our wedding day Jenny and her team set everything up for us all we had to do was drop off our decor and let her know where we wanted it and they handled everything from set up to clean up. The service was incredible we received compliments all night about the food, the service the venue, everything. Our guests were so impressed, many told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. I can not recommend Cog Hill as your reception venue enough!!

all the details on their wedding packages. After meeting with our coordinator, Jenny Gulas, my husband and I were totally sold on having our wedding there!!! My Husband especially loved the fact that he got a free round of golf with our package lol. We did a 2 year engagement, so over the course of those 2 years I had tons of questions for Jenny (I'm sure she got tired of seeing all my emails lol) and she answered each and every one of them right away!!! She was such a big help and our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without her!!! I was super upset that it rained the day of our wedding because our ceremony was supposed to be outside, but Jenny calmed me down and reassured me that it was going to be beautiful inside just like it would outside. And, she was right...our ceremony and all the decorations looked gorgeous, even better than it would have looked like outside!!! I loved the all inclusive price and they were very transparent with you so there were no surprises. All in all A+++ would highly recommend!
