eeks prior may have been tight scheduling. With that being said, I spoke to Judy when I called and told her I was looking for more information. She immediately started firing questions at me. When I told her the wedding would be in Erie, she replied "Erie!? We don't go to Erie! You'll have to pick them up." I politely told her that wouldn't be a problem. She asked me how many attendants I had and when the wedding is. When I responded that we would need 9 bouquets she said "crap." I asked her if coming in is something I need an appointment for and she said "absolutely! We are extremely busy this time of the year for Christmas." At this point, it was obvious that having my business was a nuisance to her. I told her "ma'am, it seems as if this isn't something you're interested in doing, so I think I will call another florist." No sooner did I get that statement out of my mouth that she said "Fine. bye." And proceeded to hang up on me. I understand that my request didn't give more than a few weeks notice, but working with the public myself I know that helping people when they are in a tight spot can earn a lifetime customer. Cobblestone Cottage clearly isn't interested in cultivating loyalty.
My niece went to Cobblestone Cottage & Gardens for her flowers for her wedding and the woman Judy (who is the owner) was horrible! Just because my niece did not want alot of flower...
s & knew what her budget was (which she cut in half because of how rude Judy was) she sat there and had the audacity to tell her she couldn't have certain flowers because they were for classy weddings, not a shotgun wedding.... Really?! You don't assume what kind of wedding a customer is going to have. Her wedding was classy and definetly not a shotgun wedding. How can any business owner treat their customers like that? The flowers were beautiful & that is Judy's only saving grace. She should not be in business if she doesn't know how to treat her customers right. I would never recommend her to anyone in spite of how well she puts together flowers.
