Every vendor she brought in — our band, florist, photographer, caterer, signage designer, baker, and rentals — was perfect and totally understood the assignment. Wedding planning as a Type B bride is not for the faint of heart especially considering our very short timeline. She had endless patience with my indecisiveness, navigated our family dynamics with grace, and helped plan a rehearsal dinner with my husband's parents that was just as beautiful as the wedding itself. As a tip to brides, we elected to do all the planned moments (first look, portraits, family photos, grand entrance, dances, toasts, etc.) early in the day / night such that after dinner we and our guests had autonomy to do as we pleased, and it was the best decision we made. We did our grand entrance into cocktail hour then greeted all our guests during cocktail hour so that we got to say hello to everyone then enjoy dinner and the rest of the night without feeling like we were pulled in a million directions! Helen was so helpful in orchestrating that, and my husband and I felt like we had so much quality time together and with guests because of it. Thank you Helen and Coastal for our dream wedding! 

g planning from table assignments to timeline planning. She communicated with all my vendors in the days leading up to the wedding and took a lot off my plate. I had a lot of help from my family which comes with a lot of different opinions. Lexie and her team kept my family in check during the reception and always checked with me when a family member tried to make a suggestion. To me, knowing when to ask the bride versus when not to ask the bride on the wedding day is the difference between a good coordinator and a great coordinator.

If you are needing a coordinator for your wedding day I would highly suggest you ask for emma she truly was amazing and so sweet. She made sure all I was worried about was dancing and enjoying time with my guest if anything went wrong I knew nothing about it. Definitely ask for Emma!

g at her job she is so nice. She was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding and honestly without her the day of would’ve been horrible. She stoped the mother of the bride from trying to help with her job and told her just to enjoy the night because her and her team have it. She made sure everyone was accommodated for and was honestly just the best. I will recommend Emma for any bride and whenever I get married I will seek her out myself.

Lexie not only helped us smoothly navigate the complexities of planning an out-of-the-box wedding in Saint Augustine, but she truly made it our dream celebration!  Lexie was incredibly communicative, easy to work with, always prompt and on top of deadlines, and was very helpful in making sure that the vendors we chose were in line with our vision. She’s a great wedding planner, yes, but she is also a great person, and that made all the difference.  If you are getting married in Saint Augustine, I cannot recommend Coastal Celebrations or Lexie King enough! They will make your wedding day everything you’ve dreamed of!
