Captain Chris brings decades of boating experience, an engineer’s attention to detail, and an adventurous spirit to Utopia Hudson Valley. Self-employed for 40 years, Chris began with a landscaping business, earned his mechanical engineering degree, and became president of Mountainside Builders Corporation. He built 24 custom homes, including environmentally green homes, and his work earned recognition on the cover of a builders’ magazine. His professional experience also includes installing Endless Pools. Beyond his work, Chris has explored his creative side through acting with Nyack Village Theatre and Antrim Playhouse, and his adventurous side through rock climbing, scuba diving and skydiving. Aboard Utopia, he brings that same curiosity, practical know-how, and calm confidence to sharing the Hudson River with his guests. His favorite view is a bridge at sunset—and he loves giving others the chance to experience it from the water. Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, gathering your wedding party, or enjoying time with your favorite people, Chris takes pride in making the journey feel as special as the occasion. Captain Sue brings a caregiver’s heart and an adventurous spirit to Utopia Hudson Valley. A registered nurse, she worked in hospitals and later in correctional healthcare at Otisville, building a career centered on caring for others. Sue is also a hypnotherapist with interests in Reiki, crystals, and sound practices using tuning forks. Away from the water, she loves spending time with her horse, goats, and beloved cats—and she’s always up for a new adventure. Family holds a special place in Sue’s life. She is mother to her late daughter, Maryssa, stepmother to two sons, and a proud step-grandmother to two granddaughters. Aboard Utopia, Sue shares her warmth, love of nature, and appreciation for time spent together, helping guests feel welcome as they celebrate their own special moments.

Linda brings decades of experience in administrative support and coordination to her role at Utopia Hudson Valley. She spent 24 years with Monroe-Woodbury Central School District, assisting in the operation of the National School Lunch Program. Earlier in her career, she worked in administrative roles at Goldman Sachs and in Group Budget Planning and Management at Chase Manhattan Bank. Today, Linda combines that organizational background with her creative side, helping develop Utopia’s brand, marketing, and guest experience. A wife, mother of two, and grandmother, she loves bringing people together and understands how much the little details can mean when celebrating life’s special moments. Her goal is to make every guest feel like Utopia is their yacht for the day—and to have them leave with wonderful memories and stories to tell.

Lenny grew up boating aboard his family’s yacht, gaining years of firsthand experience and a lasting love of life on the water. He brings that familiarity and a friendly presence to the Utopia team, supporting the captains and helping guests feel welcome aboard. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or spending time with your favorite people, Lenny helps make your day on the Hudson relaxed and enjoyable.
