Where to begin. Well, since you're considering wedding planners, and this is not meant to just be a love letter to Megan Clark, we'll start at the beginning. Megan's wedding prep t...
imeline, budget recommendation, and vendor recommendations saved us so much time. Plus, the vendors all worked together seamlessly and were incredible partners to us in nailing down what we wanted for our big day. Next, Megan was SO AVAILABLE for our many many questions. Not only did she help us get comfortable with the information we needed, she also helped us draw the line around what NOT to worry about because it was in her very capable hands. She was such a godsend when it came to stepping in with vendors or chasing down vendors that weren't as responsive as she was. She made sure we planned for details so many couples forget, like making breakfast plans for the day-of, and how to build in "couples' breaks" throughout the wedding festivities so my new husband and I were able to enjoy connection that was just for the two of us that day.
But then there's the whole Megan-ness of it all. She's hilarious, bright, creative, and still VERY calming. We didn't really see much of her the day-of, as she beautifully moved through the spaces bringing together our vision and keeping all of the vendors on track. When I say we had the PERFECT wedding, I can say it with the confidence of an older bride who has not only attended her fair share of weddings, but has also planned her own wedding back with her first marriage. And we did not have an easy or traditional wedding, so Megan's "Hell yes! Let's do it!" attitude really helped us bring something unique, fun, and special to life.
Yes, Megan happens to be the coolest, and yes, everyone wants to be her friend. But there is no one more trustworthy and capable when it comes to entrusting your big day to someone. We cannot recommend her enough.
Okay, let me tell you about Megan- she's not just a wedding planner, she's a wedding wizard! We worked with her for our July wedding on Vashon Island and she was amazing.

f, Megan is just so dang easy to talk to. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but she kept things fun and real the whole time. She was like that cool, level-headed friend who always knows what to do. This girl has got your back when it comes to budget too. There I was, getting starry-eyed over every shiny wedding thing, and she'd be like, "Whoa there, remember the budget!" But not in a buzzkill way - she was great at showing us where to splurge and where to save.
Our wedding was a bit crazy because there was (of course) a ferry down for the day. Cue the panic, right? Nope (well kinda). Megan switched into superhero mode, rearranging everything on the fly. She handled that chaos like a boss, and our guests had a great time with a drink in hand on arrival.
Bottom line: Megan is the real deal. She's fun, she's smart, and she can handle anything thrown her way. If you want a stress-free wedding planning experience (is that even a thing?), hire her. Trust me, your future stressed-out wedding planning self will thank you!
Megan is the best of the best. She is a well-seasoned event professional and booking her for day-of coordination was one of the best decisions we made. Equally hard-working as she ...
is lively and fun, I can't imagine our wedding day without Megan. She handled complex seating/family situations with ease, kept us on-time, and was a glowing and friendly presence on my wedding day (and throughout the planning process). Huge fan of Megan!
Megan is an incredibly talented, kind, organized, patient, and supportive planner. Hands down the best investment we made in planning our wedding.

e process, recommended a range of vendors (even when she knew which one we’d choose), helped us problem solve on the go, and was an incredible support system.
She is also just a passionate, humorous, loving soul who is a blast to spend time with. We cannot recommend Megan and her work highly enough.
If you are looking for someone who is laid-back yet on-top-of-her-shit who will help bring your vision to life, and make sure you enjoy it along the way, Megan is the right person for you. Photos by Wiley Putnam.
Wow, I can't say enough good things about Megan. We hired Megan for day of coordination after our original wedding venue fell through and our original day of coordinator flaked ou...
t on us. I wish I had saved myself the heartache and hired Megan sooner. From our first meeting, Megan helped put my mind at ease with a clear understanding of what I wanted and an even better understanding of how we would get there. Megan was articulate and clear with her instructions all while ensuring everyone knew exactly where to be and what the plan was for our wedding day.
Our event was truly incredible and even though there are always a few hiccups when planning a wedding; I was unaware of anything going wrong and I knew that if anything came up, I could trust Megan to handle it.
We are so lucky to have found Clutch Events to help us with our big day. Megan is truly the most hard-working, fun, and professional day of coordinator ever. I find myself sad that I don't get to talk to her on a regular basis anymore but hope that I have the opportunity to work with her in the future.
Megan at Clutch Events is amazing!! She is so much fun to work with and has such great energy. We hired her as a day of coordinator but she did so much more than that. She was alwa...
ys available to give us advice, talk things through and make sure our vision came to life. On our big day she brought everything together- even with 200 (rowdy) guests, a downpour in the morning of our outdoor wedding, and all of the details along the way. We couldn't have done it without her!!
Megan is the best wedding planner we could have ever hoped for. After we got engaged my fiance and I did not know where to start. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming if you do...
n't know what you're doing and luckily for us, Megan came to the rescue. She made it a very enjoyable, stress-free, and fun experience. She helped us figure out and plan the entire thing.
She is a true professional and knows how to drive the conversation and lead the charge. I was a deer in headlights when people would ask me questions like 'what are your colors?' or 'what style of napkins do you want on your dining table?' or 'what do you want the fullness of your bridesmaid's bouquets to be?' I had no idea how to answer these questions. Megan was like my wedding fairy godmother and helped me figure out what I wanted and feel confident about my decisions. (Burgundy and Blush, Waterfall style, and full but not as full as mine!).
As things got rolling, she kept us on track and made sure that we had everything set for the big day. We live in Seattle and held our wedding in San Diego. Megan has experience planning events that are in other locations than the Pacific Northwest, so a factor that could have very easily stressed us out turned out to be no big deal at all.
It also started to rain on our wedding day... yet another factor that could have very easily stressed us out. But Megan stepped in, took care of all the logistics needed, and assured us it was going to be the best day ever (which it totally was). All of our other vendors loved her and she made sure that everyone knew what to do, where to go, and what time to be there.
You have a lot of things to worry about when it comes to planning a wedding. Get a wedding planner. Get Megan as your wedding planner. You will not regret it and I cannot recommend her enough. She is fantastic, helps you think about things you never even knew you needed to think about, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. I kind of wish I could get married again just so I could work with her again to plan everything out. In all seriousness, my now husband and I cannot imagine going through our wedding without her. Thank you, Megan! You are the BEST!!!
Megan is fantastic. We had her as our day-of coordinator and I don't know what I would have done without her. Everything went perfectly. She made sure all the other vendors knew wh...
ere to go and when to set up. She returned everything that needed to be returned. She also kept to the background and made sure not to be noticed by guests. She is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone planning an event.
If I could buy extra stars to give Clutch Events I so would! I must admit I didn't think I needed a wedding planner but that was before I starting planning one myself. I would've...
been lost and beyond stressed without Megan. There isn't enough room here to tell you all of the ways she helped me stay organized, answered questions I never even thought of, took care of family members with special requests, and made my day so seamless and wonderful I'm brought to tears just thinking about it. She even got red wine out of my wedding dress that a guest spilled on me while dancing. She was totally on it, fixed it, and sent me back out to dance the night away. Before you get your venue, your flowers, or your DJ hire Clutch Events to help you navigate through all the craziness! You will be so happy you did!
Megan knew what she was doing. she just started her own business but she's been doing wedding planning for a long time. she was on top of everything as my day-of wedding planner ...
