We had our wedding at Club Lake Venue at the beginning of March, and overall it truly matched the vision we had from the start. It offers an outdoor ceremony space with shade and a... beautiful rustic setting, along with an indoor reception space that has large garage doors which open up to the outside. It gave us the best of both worlds, especially having air conditioning for the reception while still feeling connected to the outdoors.
This was one of the first venues we toured, and it checked all of our boxes right away. We also loved that the reception could go until 11pm, which was surprisingly hard to find. Another huge highlight for us was that we were able to include our dog in both the ceremony and cocktail hour, which made the day even more special.
While the pricing may seem high at first, it includes a lot—catering, DJ, a floral budget, a 30-day and day-of planner, and cleanup—which made planning much more manageable. We also appreciated being able to choose from a small list of caterers and DJs instead of being locked into just one option.
The booking process was one of the easiest parts. They allowed us to place a complimentary hold on two dates while we continued touring other venues, and there was no pressure. Knowing we had first dibs if someone else inquired about our date took a lot of stress off during decision-making.
The included 30-day and day-of planner (through a third party) was wonderful. They helped make the final month feel organized and ensured the wedding day itself ran smoothly.
The venue itself is beautiful. The sunlight coming through the trees during the ceremony was exactly what I had envisioned, and the landscaping is very well maintained. The reception space lighting also turned out perfectly.
From our perspective, the day ran smoothly, and our guests told us everything felt seamless. That said, there were a couple of small things worth noting. Our seating chart, which we had dropped off the day before, ended up slightly warped and peeling at the corner, likely from being stored in the outdoor barn area, so I would recommend bringing more delicate items the day of. There were also noseeum bugs during the ceremony, and while we had been told the area is sprayed, guests and the wedding party did get bitten. Thankfully, the planners had bug spray on hand.
The getting ready suites are a bit smaller than some other venues. It worked fine for us since we had a smaller wedding party, though the groom’s suite did get a bit warm.
Overall, Club Lake Venue delivered exactly the kind of wedding we were hoping for. It’s a beautiful space, well-organized, and offers a lot of value in what’s included. With a little extra preparation for outdoor elements, it’s a fantastic place to get married.
