Cleveland Marriott East

and take care of any anticipated needs. The hotel was recently renovated, and it was beautiful - the guestrooms, the ballroom & the lobby are gorgeous. Tammy, Director of Catering, was the best to work with hands down. I recommend any bride to choose the Marriott Cleveland East because you will not be disappointed. The food, planning, and accommodations were phenomenal and the staff is amazing. I truly can not say enough about how helpful they were and how great of an experience we had.

ing Sales Account Manager. We secured the venue with her. She was very helpful and responsive. In April of 2017, Stephanie left the Marriott and was replaced by Jena Green. The transition was seamless. Jena was a pleasure to work with. We had numerous meetings with her (upon our request). We asked for additional lighting and gave the team specific instructions on set up, etc. They were extremely helpful. Jena was on site the entire day and facilitated our itinerary. We (as parents of the bride) were introduced to the chef and banquet manager. They reiterated that they would accommodate our needs , if any. The cocktail hour and dinner service was wonderful and the food was delicious. (they served 240 without any issues) We received many compliments on the food and service. Jena has great attention to detail and was our "wedding planner" for the day! We did not have to worry about the gifts or items (photos, extra center pieces, etc) left behind. The Marriott boxed it all up for us to pick up later the next week. Even the cake and bride's bouquet were waiting and saved! The wedding packages are great! We would definitely hold another event at the Marriott Cleveland East. The Grdina/Chapman Wedding

! Trust me I probably drove her up a wall. She was sweet and always available to contact. They went out of their way to accommodate us and we really felt like we were valued and not just another number. The service from the bartenders, to the servers, to the managers. Everyone was so wonderful. A couple minor things that stopped it from being a 5 stars. My welcome bags went missing, my room wasn't ready until after 5pm (supposed to be ready by 3pm). And when my ceremony was starting for whatever reason Rock music was playing and crashing of dishes. Luckily they stopped both, but guests definitely noticed. But overall: Our wedding was fantastic, and the people working there are even more fantastic.

perience! Ask for Erin!

wedding day would be in good hands with Erin. We were correct. Throughout the process Erin was always extremely helpful and responsive when I would call or email her. She helped make all of the arrangements for our reception and room block and really worked with us on what we wanted to make our day special. The package that she offered for the food/drinks and room price we felt was a really good value for what we received. During the days of our wedding festivities, all of the people on staff at the Marriott were extremely polite, professional, and helpful. They were attentive and treated us and our guests very well, adding to the atmosphere of the day. The reception hall looked beautiful and we really liked how the seating chart was designed by Erin, so that the head table was just a normal long table with people on each side rather than a big long line of us looking out at the rest of the guests. The food was really delicious, we had a difficult time narrowing down food choices at our tasting because they were so good. On the day of the wedding the food was just as good as we remembered. We got many compliments on the way the room looked, the food, and how great the staff was. We also had set up some late night snacks for our guests since it was on New Year's Eve, which were a big hit as well. Ann Marie was our point person for later in the evening, and she also worked hard to make sure we had whatever we needed. Overall we were very happy with our choice in reception venues and would absolutely choose the Marriott Cleveland East again if we did it all over again.

s, decor, meals, etc and she was extremely flexible and patient! We gave her all of the items/instructions on how we wanted the night and she and her team were able to pull it off without calling me or worrying me about anything. During the event, the staff waited on not just my husband and i, but all of our guests on hand and foot. They even gave complimentary rooms to my groom and i, and both sets of parents! Shout out to Ann Marie, Chelsea, and the rest of the staff as well. If you want your reception to be beautiful and go on flawlessly, have your wedding here! AND it's affordable (for as "affordable" as a wedding goes!)

here and there that came in handy. They also provide transportation for anyone staying in the hotel under the block the day of the wedding. Any complaints that were had, were dealt with immediately! Caileen, the event coordinator- was amazing!

ouldn't have asked for more.

r. She was fantastic through it all. The Marriott really made sure that our day was one to remember and went above and beyond on several things. THE BEST YOU COULD ASK FOR!!!
