Clear Vision is a decent affordable option for wedding videography. I appreciated the level of detail requested in the Shot List form to ensure that the assigned videographer is at... the right place, at the right time, getting the right shots!
While I did enjoy working with Clear Vision, there were a few opportunities for improved communication that would have enhanced my experience. We were not told who our assigned videographer would be until I asked directly, approximately 3 months before wedding day. At that time, Clear Vision suggested that a call be scheduled with him for the week before the wedding. I contacted him approximately a month before the wedding to set up a call, and it took several follow up emails to schedule. The first call that we scheduled did not occur, as he forgot and never called. When we actually did connect on the phone, it was clear that he did not review the timeline or shots list that I had provided. The only question that he asked me during this call was whether my husband and I were doing a first look, which would have been made clear by the timeline. Following our call, I sent a recap of our brief conversation and asked a few additional questions via email, but I never got a response.
On wedding day, I was surprised when a different videographer showed up. However, I would rate the videographer that actually shot our wedding, Sheila, a full five stars. She was very kind, energetic, and adaptable. The resources that I shared with our originally assigned videographer, including the full wedding day timeline, were not provided to Sheila. Still, she was able to learn our preferences on the fly and capture all of the important moments. I am very excited to see the final product, as I am sure that Sheila captured our day beautifully!
