Clays was incredible and I can’t wait to have another cake by them!! I had reached out to a couple other places looking for pretty niche cupcake flavors for our wedding and either ...
it was too expensive, too far, or the baker couldn’t accommodate the exact flavors we wanted. I never had Clays before but my friends on the Main Line said everyone uses them so I reached out. Skylar at Clays not only was able to give me the exact flavors I wanted, but she also gave me similar flavors she recommended and their regular sample selection FOR FREE. Before we even signed a contract. Not only were all the samples delicious but the customer service was next-level!! I actually ordered extra cupcakes for the wedding day so we’d have extra later lol. I will be getting ALL of my cakes at Clays from here on out, and I cannot recommend them enough for weddings!
I gave them a pretty complicated idea of what I wanted and they nailed it! My cake was so beautiful - one of the first things several guests commented on. And as always, so delicio...

We were able to choose between Clay's and another local bakery as part of our catering package. We went to Clay's for our tasting and were blown away by their spice cake - so flav...
orful and delicious and fit our warm winter wedding vibe. We wanted our cake to be iced with dark forest green colored icing with gold "splatter paint" effect, which our consultant, Sharon, at Clay's said they could easily swap for the typical buttercream decorations they usually do on wedding cakes. We went to the other bakery for their tasting, honestly just for some more free cake. The other bakery had all sorts of upcharges in order to get our green cake and even made us worry about green icing staining people's teeth. I called Sharon and she offered to have a mockup of the green and gold cake made for us. So glad we did because it turned out perfectly and we got to have a whole little spice cake to ourselves. Yes, our teeth turned a teeny bit green, but our guests got a kick out of it and loved uniqueness of our green cake!
We also had an additional sheet cake of their chocolate chip pound cake, which is divine! Their buttercream is exceptional as well, not to sweet, but the perfect flavor. No need for additional curds or fruit fillings when you start with the perfect cake and buttercream combo from Clay's!
Used Clay’s for our wedding and they did a wonderful job! The cake was delicious and the detail was beautiful. Highly recommend Clay’s Team!
There were several bakeries on the list for our wedding vendor; after speaking with many of them, we chose Clay’s for a couple of reasons. Tim and I were planning a special theme, ...
and wanted to be sure that the baker shared our “vision”. We were impressed by the variety of cake and icing flavors that were included with our package. Our up-charge was negligible. When we consulted with Clay’s, they were thrilled to make our ideas a reality. The end result was an absolutely beautiful and delicious cake with creative flair. We would happily recommend them to anyone planning a themed celebration. Thanks again for making our Whovian Wedding cake a success!
We loved working with Clay's. They were super responsive and definitely within budget. Our cake looked beautiful. The chocolate chip pound cake is untouchable with how good it is. ...
Our only downfall is we requested a spice cake layer and we're pretty sure we didn't get it. However whatever flavor layer was in there got huge compliments so we can't really complain, haha.
In my opinion Clay's has the best cakes in the area! Our wedding cake was no exception! They offered a variety of different cake flavors during their cake tasting and helped us bri...

nt reviews, and we thought they would be able to deliver on our vision. We are so glad we went with them! Our cake turned out beautiful, and it was so tasty! We picked two flavors for the different tiers and went with amaretto with a chocolate buttercream filling and raspberry swirl also with the chocolate buttercream filling, and both were to die for (and it's made day of, so the cake is super fresh)! The staff was also so nice and very helpful. We would definitely recommend Clay's!
We absolutely loved the cake we had from Clays at our wedding. The cake was delicious and all of our guests loved it!

r on my cake, & that was forgotten, & I had a somewhat heavy cake topper, so that couldn't be put on top of the cake, it had to be put next to the cake. Other than those 2 minor details, all my guests loved it!
For our spring wedding, we decided to use a cupcake centerpiece that looked like flowers instead of actual flowers. With just one picture of what we wanted, Clays executed our vis...
ion of large hydrangea cupcakes perfectly. The staff's enthusiasm really relieved our fears that our large, intricate order would be too difficult. We were thrilled with the final product, and many people at our wedding told us they looked too beautiful to eat (don't worry, temptation finally got to them)! With numerous excellent choices, we ended up with four delicious flavors -- chocolate chip, yellow, almond, and lemon poppyseed -- all of which were phenomenal. With this kind of quality and service, you'd expect a high price tag, but Clay's was very affordable.

cut during the reception. They did exactly what we wanted and I could not be happier. The cakes (we had chocolate chip) and cupcakes (chocolate and yellow cake) were delicious and looked amazing with the stargazer lilies and black, white and pink swirl decorations. In addition to the cupcakes, we also ordered pink sugar cookies to add a little more creativity and delicious snacks for the reception. All of the cupcakes and cookies were eaten which is exactly what I wanted!!! Such an amazing bakery.. We go there often for all of their goodies.
