You can't have Classic Elegance Artistry beat in terms of value when it comes to bridal hair and makeup. I paid a fraction of the cost of some of the other perhaps better known mak...
eup artists in Maui but I felt beautiful and received so many compliments the day of my wedding! I was kind of hesitant because they don't have as many photos of their work as some of the other MUAs, but I was pretty pleased with their work. Overall I'd give them a 4 out of 5 stars.
Shanti was my makeup artist and hair stylist and she was incredibly sweet! I've had my makeup and hair done before as a bridesmaid at other weddings and I know sometimes artists can have a little bit of an ego on them when you ask them to correct something. I really appreciated that Shanti listened and worked with me to get the look that I wanted - even when it required her to remove some of it and start again! She was professional and caring and she really made me feel at ease. I really enjoyed my time getting ready with her! She really wanted to make sure that I looked the way I wanted to. I requested fresh flowers in my hair and she picked some beautiful blooms and used them beautifully in my half do. I thought I was going to get airbrush makeup but she used my own foundation and concealer instead, but my makeup lasted all night with just a little bit of oil blotting!
The only critique I had about my hair was that I wish she used a hotter curling iron. With my own curling wand my curls typically hold really well with some hairspray. When she curled my hair I hardly felt heat and I felt like they kept falling out AS she was doing my hair. Seeing this I asked for tight curls when she was doing the final curls (assuming that they'd loosen to a pretty curl by the time I got to the venue). In the 45 minutes it took to get to the venue, there was barely any curl remaining in the back of my hair and my hair looks almost straight in my cake cutting photos. The style overall still looked very pretty, but I feel like a hotter curling iron would've made a big difference.
Overall, I still loved my look and I would definitely recommend Classic Elegance Artistry for the bride who isn't SUPER picky and likes a more natural look. If you want something very extravagant or complicated you may want to do a trial first or pay the difference for some of the more popular artists.
Dibea and the entire Classic Elegance Artistry team are an excellent choice for your makeup needs. For my wedding, I booked their services - for myself, my mother and bridesmaids. ...
Everyone was 110% satisfied. From the first email correspondence to the final farewell on wedding day, Dibea was extremely helpful and kind. She knows her stuff! And she also listens to your needs as a customer. She made some really good recommendations during the phone consultation. Initially, I had no idea what I wanted; but she helped to put my mind at ease. She explained the pros and cons of airbrush, false lashes, etc. On wedding day, she arrived promptly and was done quickly. She even helped to airbrush an ugly sunburn and obvious tan lines that I acquired a few days before my wedding. (Not a smart move...haha!) Her prices are unbeatable, and the quality is superb. I would recommend Classic Elegance Artistry to everyone I know. :)
Consultation with Dibea over the phone/email made me feel like I’m really getting married! It was nice to have someone listen to the detail of how I wanted my makeup on my wedding ...

First of all, Dibea not only made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, but truly made it a memorable one. I’m very picky of how I want my hair and makeup on my wedding day and s...
he turned my dream look into a reality. Extremely happy with how I looked! She also made sure I looked my best on every angle and was there to help me get ready before and after the ceremony and before the reception. I wish I could fly her to my hometown and be my personal makeup artist. Will definitely be hiring Dibea when I’m on Hawaii again for any event. And I’m definitely recommending Dibea to future brides, you will not be disappointed! Big thank you again!!!
