Classic Bakery

ely fantastic. They were also able to accommodate vegan options which was a huge selling point, especially because they tasted just as good. Unfortunately, we had to change our order twice based on incorrect information (once for cake size, once for cake flavors). Trying to get things in writing was difficult and required explicit demands by both email and over the phone. When we changed to a smaller order due to lower-than-expected guest turnout, the process took nearly a month and was quite complex. Our point of contact was changed by the bakery partway through the ordering in a bid to improve service, so we were likely not the only customers with problems. One egregious example was having a cake flavor we were promised could be made vegan in February changed by the chef days before the September wedding, as it wasn’t possible to make that flavor vegan after all. We solved it and the cake arrived on time looking fantastic. Being able to print any design on the top of the cake is a real perk, and the method of doing this doesn’t add any additional flavor or much extra sweetness, very impressive. Unfortunately, the pieces we were sent home with had both a hair and a piece of foil baked into them, which I hope none of the guests had as well.
