Paula did my mother’s makeup, and the results were absolutely stunning. She’s not only incredibly skilled, but also warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience so relaxing ...
and enjoyable for my mom. You can truly see how much Paula loves what she does—she was gentle, patient, and paid attention to every little detail. My mom looked gorgeous and left feeling confident and radiant. We’ll absolutely be back!
Paula was an incredible makeup artist for my wedding. She was punctual, professional, and had a great sense of humor that helped ease my anxiety. Her skill was evident as she flawl...
essly covered my rosacea, making my skin look perfect. Even as the heat from dancing set in, Paula was there for touch-ups, keeping my makeup looking fresh all day. I’m so grateful for her expertise and the calm she brought to my special day
Paula is truly an artist! I did two trials with her before my wedding, and I couldn’t have been happier with how my wedding HMU turned out. She actually listens to what you want an...
d brings that vision to life. Separately, my mom and mother-in-law were both nervous to have their makeup done since they hadn’t had it professionally done before. Paula was not only professional but also reassuring throughout the process and again listened to both of them. I could see the relief and joy they both had once Paula was done, and they both absolutely loved their looks. Her team was also amazing and all of my bridesmaids were very happy with their HMU. I’ll always recommend Paula to anyone looking for a great beauty specialist!
Amazing experience from start to finish. I booked services for my wedding, and it is RARE to have all of my girls on the same page. Paula was professional, extremely funny and down...
to earth. We told her what we wanted and she WENT for it. No one had a single complaint, and no one changed anything about their look (no touch ups at all which is CRAZY). The best part was that even in the Florida heat our makeup stayed on all night!!!! I have a lot of important events coming up and I am DEFINITELY booking Paula’s services again.
Paula was FABULOUS! She made me, my mom, and my sister, all feel beautiful for my wedding day! I can’t express how talented she is and accommodating to any requests for hair and ma...

Paula is incredible! I hired her based on her reviews to do my hair and makeup for a wedding I was attending at the Union League Club in Chicago. She came prompt to the hotel, set ...
up quickly and totally understood the look I was going for! She pretty much read my mind and my hair and makeup looked amazing. I received compliments the whole night and I was just a guest! I felt as beautiful as I did on my own wedding day! I highly recommend her hair and makeup services to anyone wanting to look and feel their best for any occasion! To Paula- great work and thank you!!
Paula was so easy to work with and extremely accommodating of my small bridal party size. She put me into contact with Jerilyn Novak who is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The talent and ar...
tistry that Paula employs is top notch and I am so incredibly grateful that she introduced me to Jerilyn! She will definitely be my main makeup artist from here on out!
Paula was amazing! I used her for my wedding. I usually don't wear a lot of makeup so I was a little hesitant at first, but Paula made me look so natural. The trial was great- she...
did half my face using airbrush and half with foundation so I could decide what I wanted to do on my big day. When the big day arrived she was on time and did a great job not only on my sister, but also on my mom and my mother-in-law. Paula also gave me a list of the products she used on me. I would definetly recommend Paula for all of your make-up needs.
I worked with Paula from City Lights Makeup Artistry for my maternity photo session. Paula is extremely talented in her art form, and also organized as a business woman! We were a...
ble to pick a date, and from there I was sent email confirmations, contract, and even handouts with how to ensure I would have the best possible experience. What a great first impression.
Paula arrived to our location on-time and brought all professional items with her - including this light that would guarantee application was done correctly no matter the light source of the location. We talked a bit about what look I wanted for the maternity session and Paula’s style. (I highly recommend you take a look at her portfolio of work - it is amazing!)
I loved my look - both makeup and hair. Honestly, I felt flawless and my picture proofs show this.
I know people go back and forth between "just doing their own makeup" or paying for a professional to do it. I can’t stress enough that paying a professional is worth every cent. Not only do you look amazing, but you also get a unique opportunity to learn from a professional what looks best on you applied where.
Without a doubt, I highly recommend City Lights Makeup Artistry for your next special occasion - you will look like your best you!
Paula was great. Hair and makeup couldn't have been any better for my wedding party. We all felt and looked like millions! I will defintely use her services again. So glad I chose ...
Paula!!! Thank you so much!!!!
I used City Lights for both boudoir make up (as wedding present to my hubby) and for my wedding. I usually do not wear a lot of make up so I get nervous when I get my make up done...
, but Paula did a fantastic job! My make up looked flawless and lasted all day, and so did my bridesmaids. It was the first time my mom had professional make up done, so she was really nervous. After it was done, she told me she had never felt prettier! I would highly recommend using Paula for any make up needs!
The make-up artist was super nice and on time. The only reason I paid so much was because this was my wedding and I didn't have to worry about touching up. I don't regret it, but I...
also won't do it again. One thing they should think about is doing the bridal preview for free, because even that was pricey
Paula at City Lights did makeup for me, my matron-of-honor, and my mother for our wedding, and we were also so pleased! Everyone one of us got so many compliments! Paula is so ta...
