City Art is incredible! I had my wedding ceremony and reception there! It was absolutely beautiful, perfectly intimate, and so much fun! All of my guest are still talking about it!...
Wendy was very professional, knowledgable of the space giving great advice, accommodating, and prompt with replying to emails and phone calls! I would 100% recommend City Art to anyone looking to have a truly magical evening that people will never forget! I hoped to post pictures, but they haven't come in yet, so I'll just leave another review when they do!!
For logistics: I had 200 people, 5 food stations, 2 bars, a band, 10 standing cocktail tables, 6 tables for seating, and a few miscellaneous tables for the cake, presents, ect. And there was plenty of room! The space is much bigger than it looks with nothing in it!
I loved having my rehearsal dinner here. It was the perfect size for a small group and absolutely beautiful. They are a little rigid with times and I thought a bit expensive, but i...

This venue is amazing and is one of the hidden gems of venues in Columbia, SC. Whether you are doing a sit down dinner or just a lively party, this is the place I would go.

staff was friendly, the process was easy, and the cost can't be beat for a downtown venue.
The lighting in this venue is amazing and creates an excellent atmosphere for any party. I can't say enough wonderful things about City Art!
My wedding and reception at City Art turned out beautifully and I got a lot of compliments. I love this space with the brick, art on the walls, and the wood floors and big windows....
You can't beat the Vista location. The event coordinator here can be challenging and sometimes difficult to work with. Biggest piece of advice is to choose a caterer who you like and knows the space well--they will be your main point of contact with planning the details of your event and should know the rules and etc.
City Art was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding! It is beautiful and the art work makes for an elegant recpetion. We had 175 guests and everything worked out great. We...
recommend it highly - we wouldn't have wanted to have it any where else! MOB
City Art is a beautiful venue. The fact that it is an art gallery makes it unique from all other venues. It makes for a very classy looking reception and guests can walk around a...
nd look at art work in addition to eating and dancing.
We used City Art for our rehearsal dinner and couldn't have been happier. It is such a unique space and all our guests commented on how cool it was.
If you have a vision of something different this is a great place. If you need a small and personable venue check this place out.
