Sydney lacked overall professionalism. Our vision for engagement photos was woodsy/romantic/classic and we came up with a plan to shoot at Ault Park. She did not remember until the...
day of that it was prom season and rescheduled with us. The rescheduled date came and hours before we also rescheduled due to POSSIBLE rain (it did not rain). Finally we had a plan and the day of or day before she asked if we could drive closer to her in Dayton and if we could come at 1:30pm in the afternoon. When first booking she told us that 7pm would be a perfect time for lighting. I was skeptical and this time change made me feel like she was trying to get it over with. We came when she said and she spent MAYBE 15-20 minutes with us. Little to no posing direction and attention to detail when taking photos. It was uncomfortable and extremely rushed and before we knew it she said we were done. She told us we would have the pictures that next weekend due to all the rescheduling and waiting which I appreciated. The weekend came and went and I gave it a couple days before reaching out. I did this to remind her 4 times.... and we finally got them back. I would have much rather appreciated an honest timeline so I wasn't waiting around the day they were promised. When we got them back I was so taken aback. We received maybe 40-45 pictures. Almost all of them were the action between when the actual pose happened. Not a single ring photo. The lighting was bright and terrible and half of the pictures looked shot on an iphone. We broke our contract and lost out on the deposit but I am just thankful those were not our wedding photos. If you are looking for a budget photographer she is the one for you but just know with budget photos comes budget communication and timelines.
DO NOT BOOK!!! Sydney is a scammer. Cancelled on my wedding the night before at 8:30 pm. Then went and shot another wedding on my wedding day! She sent her associate who knew nothi...
ng about what I wanted. Thankfully she was flexible. Sydney said she would edit my photos in 8-12 weeks. Almost 13 weeks later I had to beg for my photos when she then sent me a different wedding link (the other wedding she shot). She brought up many excuses “my kid hasn’t napped” or “Emily never sent the pictures”. When I did get the link the editing was TERRIBLE the guys suits looked purple (they were navy). The pictures were all out of order. I finally contacted her associate and had her re edit all of them. So frustrating!
Sydney is the best!!! Her and her associate (Jessica) were so great to work with. They had my husband and I laughing the whole day to keep us comfortable because he and I are not t...
he best at getting our picture taken. They took the time to help when I got a stain on my dress and my husband got a stain on his pants right before the ceremony and bustled my dress for me before the reception. She got us our engagement photos back 2 days after the shoot when I was expecting that it would take about a week and she got us our sneak peek for our wedding day photos 2 days after the wedding as well. And by the looks of the sneak peek photos they did an amazing job!!!! I will recommend her to anyone I talk to!
Our photos are AMAZING!!! The experience was always so fun shooting for our engagement photos or on our wedding day. We will definitely look to use C&B again in the future and defi...
nitely recommend!!
The owner of the company has an extreme lack of professionalism and follow through. 1) I got married on October 5, 2024 and did not get (a portion) of my pictures back until Februa...
ry 11, 2025. Almost nearly 20 weeks after my wedding and I did not get updates on the timeline to receive my photos unless I reached out multiple times. 2) I say 'a portion' of my photos because when I did get some pictures back. The owner said that she would give me an additional album the next day because all of the photos had not uploaded yet. That conversation was over a month ago. I never got any pictures back of me with my family nor any of my husband with his, which is deeply saddening. With that being said, the quality of the photos that I did receive were beautiful. The owner is very good at her craft. However, that does not make up for the lack of professionalism.
Sydney was absolutely amazing through every step of the process!! We had sneak peeks back with the quickness, can not recommend her enough!
Sydney was fantastic and I so highly recommend her. In addition to being available spur of the moment for our micro wedding she was able to make another night for an engagement sho...
ot, both times having the shots to me that night. I love out photos and you were such a blessing to our day! Thank you!
It truly breaks my heart seeing all the positive reviews knowing that I wasn’t given the same quality of service and respect. When I first started communicating with Sydney/Savana ...
she got back to me right away and seemed to understand what was important to me when it came to capturing my wedding day. I felt confident in my choice of hiring her as my photographer. Two days before my wedding Sydney/Savana reached out to me through text to let me know due to medical reasons she wouldn’t be able to be my photographer. She assured me her replacement was amazing and I would be in great hands. I was bummed but I completely understand things happen that can’t be controlled. However, The replacement she picked was absolutely horrible. I felt so uncomfortable being photographed. The photographer was zero help on trying to pose us or even trying to be engaging with me or my wedding party. It was truly awful and had me so worried she wasn’t able to get any good photos. Almost three months after my wedding I still had no communication with Sydney/Savana. I reached out to her through text and email three times in regards to the photos. I totally understand it takes time to edit photos but I was hoping she could at least let me know she received the photos since she wasn’t the one who was able to be at the wedding to take them. I was finally able to get a answer from Sydney/Savana after I sent an email saying that ignoring a client for months is unprofessional. That night I received my photos. Let’s just say I broke down crying. Not only were the photos taken horrible it was clear the editing was rushed and made the photos look even worse. Out of 500 photos I maybe got 10 that were somewhat okay. I am devastated. I spent so much time and money to plan my wedding and I have no photos that are worth saving. I wish I would have hired someone else.
Amazing! Exactly what I wanted. Completely captured our day. So fun and makes you feel relaxed in front of the camera. Got my photos back so fast!

She is absolutely wonderful with kids, as well. Her personality and creativity cannot be replicated. She communicates flawlessly and is incredibly punctual. Choosing C+B is by far one of the best choices I have ever made.
