We held our reception for ~140 people on May 2nd here and it was absolutely beautiful. We toured many venues around downtown Indianapolis and this one was the clear winner for us. ...
We loved the windows and the views they provided. We had visited a few times before our wedding day, but it was magical on the day to watch the sun set and see how the glow of the room changed through the evening. The space itself is so beautiful the decorations we brought just made it all pop. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous! They have a private parking lot which is a huge perk in downtown Indy. We received so many compliments about the venue from our guests.
The staff were all so amazing to work with. They communicated throughout our planning process and helped execute a wonderful evening. We had layout changes and the made the changes without complaint. They set up a welcome bar downstairs as well so it was a nice way to greet guests and make use of the time waiting for the elevator. We also had a space full of soft seating in one corner and used one walls as a backdrop for a photo booth. The venue felt spacious even with all our extras!
We loved our reception at Cinderwood and would book them again if we had to do it all over again!
Overall, I’d choose the space again. I do wish we maximized the layout more with a photo area or rental of a lounge area. The layout can be awkward. The owners are willing to hear ...

oved the look of their bar. The team was great to work with as well. Christine was very nice and helpful in all of our planning. We used their Christine + Co team for day of coordination too, and they made sure everything went smoothly. Definitely would recommend Cinderwood for your next event!

It was a little frustrating not being able to communicate directly with the venue owners as some of our questions took a lot of back and forth with the wedding coordinator in the middle and some of the venue policies were not told to me correctly the first time. So happy with our choice though and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a stunning space that requires minimal decor of your own!

The only issue we had with this venue was that we felt like communication was sometimes lacking between the owners, wedding manager, and staff which made things a little bit confusing & hard to plan sometimes. It is a new venue though so hoping that feedback will make it even better for future couples!
