My new wife and I liked Chuck for many reasons, primarily being that he had a great personal energy, and really cared about doing his job the best he possibly could. He always made...
sure that he played what we wanted, and while we did provide a large selection of music to play, he filled in the time with others that clearly meshed with our tastes. Everyone at our wedding at Olde Mill Inn couldn't stop talking about how great the music was throughout the entire event! The uplighting he provided was amazing, and he was able to get us a string trio for our ceremony, which was also fantastic. At the end of the night, and even days later, people couldn't stop telling us how much they loved the music and thought he did a great job, and Chuck was surprised with how energetic everyone was at our wedding, even down to the last song. He's a great guy who will work with you to provide the best music possible, so definitely reach out to him and see if he meshes with your tastes as well!
If we ever need another great DJ for an event, he is definitely at the top of our list.
Great old school DJ prepared and accommodating! Allowed my husbands band to play a set and his son was fabulous during cocktail hour
Could not have done anything to make our wedding any better. He was professional from start to finish, communication was easy and knowledgeable. His suggestions were right on targe...

flow seamlessly. Our first meeting with Chuck was so impressive and professional that we immediately knew we wanted him to DJ for our wedding. Not only is he professional and warm, but he truly cares about the events he is working. He also provided us with incredible lighting for the evening and a photo booth - our wedding was a dream come true and Chuck Russo was a big part of that wonder and magic. We will always highly recommend Chuck, he truly gives white glove service.
We had Chuck Russo DJ for our wedding at The Madison Hotel. We didn't give him a set playlist, just a few "must play" songs with notes on when to play them, and we are glad we didn...
't. Chuck played the best playlist I'd ever heard in a wedding. Everyone we invited who was a dancer stayed on the floor the whole night long. Chuck was also very classy, not cheesy the way a lot of wedding DJ's can be. He also gave us helpful handouts for picking wedding songs.
We also bought the colored uplighting, and we absolutely loved the way the uplighting changed colors while we were on the dance floor. Our reception was held in The Conservatory Ballroom, and the colored lighting looked phenomenal in that space, it's really a must-have for that room.
We had our wedding on 5/25/25 and chose Chuck to be our DJ. He was amazing. Our guest were on the dance floor all night and having fun. Our package included live music during the c...

ser known song, he was honest with me when he said he didn’t know if the musician would be able to do it but he did! The music for the ceremony was beautiful and the music for the reception was wonderful! Chuck was easy to work with and will be happy to work with your music choices as long as he is able to get the tracks! My family is big on dancing and Chuck made it so the dancing did not have to stop!

Chuck recently Dj'd our wedding and he did an amazing job! From the very first meeting to the end of the reception, Chuck was with us every step of the way...he took the time to me...
et with us in person after we first contacted him and inquired about his services. We could tell right away he was professional, detailed and experienced. We knew we were in good hands from the start! Chuck was always readily available to answer any questions and help guide us on song choices. He made sure the night was smooth, energetic and fun for all. We also used his up-lighting which really made for a great ambiance and his son played acoustic guitar during our ceremony which made the whole event feel extra classy and elegant. Thank you Chuck for helping to make our wedding so special!
Chuck is awesome. Trust the reviews.

the dance floor wasn’t packed! We have gotten more compliments from guests about our music than we could have imagined. And the photo album you made with our prints from the photo booth you provided had us laughing and smiling from ear to ear. I HIGHLY recommend Chuck for any and all weddings and events! ♥️
Chuck was amazing to work with! From the first day we met to our wedding day he was professional and accommodating. He made the night go so smoothly and kept the dance floor busy. ...
I would work with Gary again and definitely recommend him for your wedding or any DJ needs!
Chuck was the DJ for both mine and my sister's weddings. He is great to work with and makes the experience easy. Chuck definitely knows how to read a room and keep the guests on t...
heir feet! He was also wonderful with cutting down the songs we wanted for the first dance and father/daughter dance to more reasonable lengths. Chuck also reviewed our playlists on Spotify prior to our wedding to get a good idea of what we like to listen to. His son, Jonathan, did a great job with playing the guitar for our ceremony. We had specific songs that we wanted and he was great about giving us multiple options of how he could play the songs. We also had his pianist, Martin, for our cocktail hour. It was wonderful to listen to the piano and start to bring up the energy level post ceremony and pre reception. I highly recommend having Chuck, Jonathan, and Martin at your event!
Chuck DJ’d our wedding reception at The Madison in Morristown, NJ. Even during the planning process, we were impressed by Chuck’s dedication to delivering the best experience possi...
ble, which extended all the way to his friendly, reassuring attitude during our many phone conversations. My wife and I had a lot of thoughts when it came to music, and Chuck was open to our ideas while also using his experience and expertise to refine the setlist. We were so grateful to work with someone so collaborative.
As an added bonus, Chuck has worked many weddings at The Madison, so he was able to chime in with advice that wasn’t directly related to DJ’ing because he was so familiar with the space. We also got uplighting for the reception space through our package with Chuck, which added the perfect touch to the room’s ambience. Overall, we were so satisfied working with Chuck and were so glad to have him as part of our special day!
Chuck was so much fun to work with and to have at our wedding (October 2022). He is very professional, responsive, and accommodating. He has a great energy; I remember feeling upli...
fted and excited after going over plans with him on the phone in the midst of stressful wedding planning. He came through on his promise to have everyone dancing all night and made some excellent music selections to complement our requested songs. Everyone from our friends in their 20s to our grandparents raved about the music. His team also did a wonderful job with the uplighting, which gave a soft ambiance to the event. Thank you to Chuck and his team for sharing a special night with us.

MANY compliments on how great her was. During the ceremony and cocktail his son played beautiful music on his guitar which everyone really enjoyed. At our reception, EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night and having a great time. I was for sure dancing the night the way. He did a great job transitioning English songs to Spanish songs! The uplighting and ambiance was amazing and everyone enjoyed the photobooth! My favorite part was being able to keep a copy of everyone's photo and they were kind enough to put it in an album for us! We highly recommend Chuck! Thank you so much for bringing so much fun to our wedding.

Chuck was an amazing DJ at our wedding in March 2021. We also hired a surprise string trio through his company for the ceremony and cocktail hour. That was a HIT with our guests an...
d they performed beautifully. Chuck clearly took time to learn about us and our vibe. He made the night elegant and fun. He understands timing for songs, announcements, and customized uplighting very well. Chuck was accommodating and helpful during the planning stages. He is timely and extremely polite. He had great suggestions, which I took and appreciated (like bringing out our guests to join us half way through our first dance song). Also, the noise/volume level was spot on. Everything about the experience with Chuck was perfect! We highly recommend him for weddings and other events!
Chuck is the best!! Not only is he pleasant to work with, but his music is great! He keeps it at the volume level where you can have a conversation, exactly what we wanted! His son...

ngs. Chuck is an experienced, outstanding DJ who listens to the wedding couple's wishes and helps ensure a wonderful wedding celebration. I wish we had another child to marry off so we could enjoy his music again!! We also hired his son Jonathan to play guitar for the ceremony. Jonathan helped to create a very special ambiance.

vice, and opinions. Everything was perfect – Chuck did our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception. He was on time, and it was all flawless. The uplighting and ambiance were wonderful, exactly what we asked for. He catered to our interests and requests quite well. Use Chuck for your wedding – he is great and played more actual songs rather than DJ hits/beats/transitions. We loved our music, would use him again, and had no problems nor complaints.

BEST DJ EVER. When I started looking for a DJ, I was a little nervous. I had a very specific vibe in my for our wedding as well as a very specific idea of what I did not want. I've...
been to weddings where the music really makes or breaks the mood (sounds dramatic, but I can assure you the wrong choice can lead to some truly awkward moments on the dance floor). That's why we were so lucky to have found Chuck! He made it seamless and easy. He listened to us, then took our ideas and put together a killer playlist that was truly us (if you're wondering, it was an upbeat mix of modern pop, 80s pop, and alternative rock). He was also extremely professional and helpful.
Chuck wants to make sure he does right by what you want. And his experience helps him fill in the blanks if you're stuck. Stop reading this and just hire him, already!
Chuck was 1000% all we could have hoped for and more in a wedding DJ! He is the consummate pro. He made us feel like we were his most important clients. He was communicative, a gre...
at listener, and really did everything he could to make his job all about us. He made the entire day, from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception, so extra special, and absolutely nailed it every step of the way. A DJ can really make or break the life of the day, especially the reception, setting the tone musically. Chuck is an absolute master at it. He is a master of his craft. We can’t thank him enough for all he did and how he did it. Hire him, you will not regret it. He was without a doubt our favorite and best vendor.

y helped guide us in making sure we had an awesome reception. He spent time with us a few times ahead of the wedding to make sure we had our key songs picked out and made us very comfortable that he would get the party started and keep it going when the time came. Sure enough our reception was an absolute blast and our family and friends all loved the music he played. He kept the party going all night! We had an amazing time and Chuck was a big part of it. We are grateful he was our DJ!

r day so great! He selected awesome music, announced the titles which we loved, announced everyone's names perfectly and made sure the party kept going. He selected a beautiful song for our cake cutting too - I was emotional it was so perfect. He really made our ceremony reception so special! I would recommend him 1000000%!

tly what we wanted. We had our wedding right before everything had to be shut down due to Coronavirus, so many of our guests were unable to attend. I was so nervous that because there were so few people, that no one would want to be on the dance floor. Chuck had almost everyone on the dance floor throughout our reception and we were ecstatic to see that! The days after our wedding we were still getting texts about Chuck and his son and how great they were. Jonathan played for our ceremony. He worked with our song choices and even learned an obscure song that my husband requested off from a video game he loves. It truly made my husband's day. We are so happy with Chuck and Jonathan's work and would highly recommend them!
From the moment me and my husband met Chuck he was extremely helpful and had great advice. He was also always available to answer any questions and made us feel so calm leading up ...
to the big day. Chuck's son played the acoustic guitar during the ceremony which I highly recommend. He is extremely talented and it was so beautiful to walk down the aisle too. I'll never forget it.
Now on to the reception.. Chuck kept everything flowing so smoothly! We had a crowd that's ages varied from upper 20's to 80's. Chuck played music that kept our dance floor packed all night with everyone!! Also, there was another party going on in the venue and Chuck stopped those attendees from crashing our wedding. DJ and security all in one! Thank you so much Chuck for everything!!

We can’t say enough great things about having Chuck as a DJ for our wedding. We came across him at a bridal showcase at the Madison Hotel (he is the only DJ recommended by the hot...
el) and we loved the music he played and how he interacted with the crowd. Chuck’s prices were very reasonable compared to other DJs in the area. He was so personable and responded to all emails very quickly. He never tried to take over our reception or make it about him. He played all of the songs we asked him to play. All of our guests complimented the playlist and spoke so highly of our DJ. Chuck - thank you so much for everything! We had an amazing experience with you and would recommend you over and over again.
One of my biggest fears was that no one would dance at our wedding. If you are also afraid of this you NEED to have Chuck as your DJ. He was amazing and the dance floor was packed ...
all night. Even months after people are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding.
Chuck was hands-down the best DJ we could have chosen for our wedding. The dance floor was packed with relatives and friends that we’ve never even seen dance before at other events...
! Chuck nicely organized the flow of the night without talking too much or trying too hard to get guests dancing. He took all our requests and gave advice when we asked. We got glowing feedback from younger and older guests alike.
Im not sure there are other ways to describe Chuck than ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He knows music and his crowd and is able to get the party going but knows exactly when their needs to be...
time to take it slow. He was incredible all the way from our ceremony to the end of the night. Need someone who will care personally about you and your significant other and make it their sole purpose to make your night the most special? HE IS YOUR GUY!
My cousin recommended Chuck after hiring him for his wedding some odd years ago, and had a great experience.
From the moment my fiancé and I met with Chuck, we knew that he was a ...
very personable guy who definitely knew what he was doing! His prices are great for his level of quality! He’s very easy to talk to and made the whole process stress-free. At the reception, he proved to be an excellent DJ. He played many of the songs I requested and even threw in some others that all of my guests enjoyed. We were worried that no one would dance at our wedding, but Chuck made sure that everyone had a great time.
I cannot emphasize enough just how wonderful Chuck Russo is. You won’t regret hiring him!
Chuck is a real professional. He is not your typical "DJ" that reminds you of being a club. He is sophisticated. He did an amazing job at our wedding this past weekend. He knows ho...
w to work the crowd and he will play exactly what you tell him to. His son played guitar at our ceremony which was also very beautiful. I would recommend Chuck Russo to anyone!!!
Better than a band! I can't say anything bad about Chuck Russo. He was absolutely amazing! We used him for our ceremony music, cocktail hour, reception, and up-lighting. We booked ...
him about a year in advance, and a couple weeks before the wedding started communicating with him more about the details. He was responsive (better by phone than email), had plenty of resources for us, had such a great attitude, and shared a lot of excitement for our upcoming wedding, all while remaining completely professional. The day of our wedding, everything ran incredibly smoothly. We pulled a couple audibles with how we were going to be walking into the reception and a few other things that he was very flexible with, but most importantly, people were dancing all night long! So many people after the wedding told me that the music was so good, they couldn't take breaks because they didn't want to miss any of the songs. At one point, our photographers pulled my husband and I out to take some night pictures, and it was really neat walking back into the reception and seeing the dance floor packed, regardless of whether we were our there or not. It confirmed what I felt about the whole evening, that people were out there because they were having a blast! I also had a ton of people tell me after the wedding that it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding. I know it's nerve wracking booking a DJ that you have never witnessed in action, but you cannot go wrong with Chuck Russo. He was phenomenal!
The biggest compliment I received besides my wedding dress, was Chuck and his team! Chuck and Jonathan were absolutely spectacular, people were stating how they haven't seen their ...
husband dance that long on a dance floor in a long time. Chuck was extremely professional, and his prices are more than reasonable, and having Jonathan and his team play live music before and during the ceremony made the wedding feel so special and intimate. When looking for a DJ, I felt like so many were overpriced and that they made the reception feel more like going to a club scene, where Chuck made it fun, entertaining and enjoyable for everyone! The only time I saw people sit down was to eat dinner. Thank you so much Chuck for making this day so magical! We HIGHLY recommend you hire Chuck and his team for your wedding!!!
Wow where do I begin? The dance floor was packed the entire night. Chuck was so easy to work with. If we had any questions he always made sure to answer them. We gave him a list of...
songs and he played basically all of them. We let him know it was more important for our guests to have a good time. One of my friends at the wedding came up to me and asked if I gave him an entire playlist for the night because he was playing 'my kind of music.' Chuck is just that good.
DJ Chuck and his son Jonathan were quite the dream team at our wedding! Chuck's prices are VERY reasonable, and our guests raved about the range of music he played to keep the even...
ing going. He was a great emcee throughout the event, and he was always easy to reach via phone or email throughout the planning process. If your budget permits, I also recommend having Jonathan play acoustic guitar for your wedding ceremony and/or cocktail hour- it was such an incredible experience, and it was something we felt like we'd only ever seen in movies/never thought we'd be able to afford! We'll never forget them!
Chuck was the DJ for our wedding reception at the Grain House Restaurant on 11/9/18. He is awesome! From the very beginning, my husband and I felt comfortable talking with Chuck as...
he's amazingly approachable. He knew our venue well and was able to offer tips and suggestions based on his experiences which made the night run smoothly. He was so accommodating and made sure we heard a little bit of everything we liked. We had many service members and veterans at our wedding and took a moment to honor those attendants. His professionalism and down-to-earth personality helped ensure our reception was a party. Chuck got everyone up on the dance floor celebrating. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Chuck Russo provided the ceremony music, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour as well as the reception music. He was very prepared and arrived early to make sure the sound (for our be...
ach ceremony) was perfect. The jazz trio really elevated the event and was a nice touch. During the reception, he played all of our must plays and kept the guests dancing throughout the night! Many people complimented our music after the wedding. We highly recommend Chuck for your next event!
Chuck was outstanding. We got so many positive compliments on the music and we loved it too. He was super responsive, gave us great feedback and managed the flow of events so well....
All-Star!
Chuck was truly the perfect DJ for our wedding. His song selections were excellent and exactly what we wanted. Our guests and even the venue staff were commenting on how great the ...
music was the entire night. Plus Chuck is highly professional, friendly, and dependable. We give him the highest possible recommendation!
If we could give Chuck 10 stars we would! He was the best wedding DJ I have ever seen and I am so glad we chose him to do our wedding. He is extremely professional and did exactly ...
what he said he would do - he made the night about us. He wasn't a DJ that tries to be on the mic all night taking away from the music. He made sure that everyone was on the dance floor all night and the top compliment we got from our guests was that our DJ was awesome! He even noticed that the person that was supposed to give our blessing wasn't there because he wasn't able to make it last minute - which I totally forgot to tell him! He made sure everything was flawless and we will be sure to recommend him to all of our family and friends!
