Hiring Chris Carter Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Christian and Chrissy both were extremely professional and had great instincts! I always felt like our photographers were “in our corner” and never lost sight of the fact that they worked for us, not for the venue or anyone else and made sure we got every single shot that was important to us. I really liked their personalities, which is important because you spend a lot of time with your photography team the day of your wedding. They both had good senses of humor and were great with the other guests they were photographing. I can’t say enough good things about how well this team worked and complimented one another. Chris Carter Photography is a husband-and-wife wedding-photography business operating out of Warwick, NY. In 2004, Christian and Chrissy founded the company together, combining their shared enthusiasm for the art of photography and telling clients’ one-of-a-kind stories. With their extensive experience and skills in working with people, this professional team delights in helping to bring couples’ wedding visions to life. The camera-wielding duo shares varied backgrounds in the world of photography, allowing them to each bring a special set of skills to their work. Christian attended Parsons School of Design, where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography. Besides having his own business, he works with students at The School of Visual Arts in NYC, teaching advanced photographic retouching. Up until 2015, he also worked as a partner at a Manhattan studio that provided photographic printing and retouching services for various magazine publications. Chrissy went to Queens College, where she achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Though she initially planned to teach, she soon discovered a passion for photography, first with children and then with weddings. When collaborating with Chris Carter Photography for your big day, you’ll be able to choose from a variety of wedding packages. Each package comes with the services of two photographers, ensuring that every magical moment is captured. Your final edited images will be stored on a USB drive with printing permission and in a password-protected gallery online. You can also opt to add a custom-designed photo album, crafted to display your chosen images flawlessly. In addition to weddings, Christian and Chrissy enjoy helping couples document other important milestones. They have engagement, maternity, child, and family sessions available to transform fleeting moments in time into long-lasting photo souvenirs to be treasured for a lifetime.

Christian holds a B.F.A. in Photography from Parsons School of Design and teaches photo retouching at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Before focusing fully on weddings, he co-owned a high-end photographic retouching studio in Manhattan, working with major magazines and ad agencies. Chris & Chrissy started Chris Carter Photography together in 2004, brought together by a shared love for photography. With over 20 years of experience and a true love for working with people, we’re passionate about capturing the moments and memories that matter most to you.

On our wedding day, they arrived a little early to look around our hotel suite and find the best places for photos. When it was time to go to the venue, they went above and beyond and helped us transport extra supplies in their car. I barely noticed they were there during the ceremony, but I know they were busy getting great shots. After our ceremony, they helped us quickly get all our must-have group photos so we could go enjoy our cocktail hour. Before they left, Christian checked in with us to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. By 11:30 on the night of our wedding, they had already sent us some of our photos! Overall, it was such a great experience. Their prices are very fair for the level of service they give. They are pros! We are moving out of the area, but we would consider taking a trip back to Warwick just to work with Chrissy and Christian again!

ons throughout that time. Chrissy wasn’t kidding when she says she responds right away - she really made herself available! They helped us come up with a schedule around which we could plan our day, and we felt like we almost had built in wedding planners in these two. I was also super impressed by how well they remembered all of our family members and wedding party’s names and relationships for various portraits all day. Our other vendors loved working with them too; our videographer said they were the most professional wedding photographers he’d ever worked with and that he learned a lot from them. They really are a special team, and best of all, they kept us laughing all day… even on the most humid day of the year! We are in love with how our engagement and wedding photos turned out – and it’s amazing how quickly they turned around our preview photos too.
