Chris and Kristy Photography

all of our photos turned out and family members commented on how wonderful they were as well. Chris and Kristy were so easy to work with and helped assure us that despite the rain, our pictures would still turn out beautiful, which they did. Cannot thank them enough, would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

t to do and made it so much easier and comfortable for us. The pictures turned out AMAZING. We had a beautiful Fall day and the colors really popped. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for photographers.

fun working with them, everything from our engagement session to the wedding day. We have been telling everyone we know about how fantastic the both of them are since day one, and many people from the bridal party have asked for their information! Words cannot accurately express how grateful we are for all the beautiful moments they were able to capture from our special day! We cannot wait to share these pictures with all our family and friends! They are truly amazing at what they do and we are so lucky to have had them capture our wedding day for us! We will treasure these for years to come.

ance communication and time difference. I also very much appreciated their realistic, honest approach. My husband and I were set on not doing a first look- this, however, created a very tight timeline. They were very honest about the possible limitations, and were champs about getting the shots we requested and working around said timeline. The photos themselves were beautiful. My husband and I were paging through then together on our laptop when the finished product was sent- I couldn’t stop crying, it was so accurate to the feel of the day. They did such a wonderful job capturing moments, not just portraits (although we loved those as well). Thank you for using your talents to capture the most joyful, memorable day of our lives, Chris and Kristy!! Mahalo!

d us with a wonderfully put together magazine they made with TONS of information and tips about all things wedding from how to plan your day to tips on looking your best in photos and what shots to get. It was so great to be able to reference it throughout our planning process and it kept up from having to bother them a million times. And bless their hearts, we got married in June and it was almost 100 degrees out and they were such troopers! They were eager to get the perfect shot no matter how long we were out in the heat. We really enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to anyone!

nges at our venue and Chris and Kristy saved the day by thinking creatively about where to relocate our ceremony. Their photographs were gorgeous and they captured lovely shots of our entire family. We highly recommend Chris and Kristy!

captured every smile, laugh, tear and hug throughout our wedding. Despite having 18 people in our bridal party, our pictures went flawlessly. Chris and Kristy have a high level of professionalism. They interacted so well with our vendors, guests and bridal party. I cannot say enough good about these two!

ly manner. They were so creative and we felt very comfortable around them. It was the best purchase we could have made for our wedding!

k unbelievably amazing pictures and played such a huge role in contributing to the chill, super happy vibe that was our wedding day. We weren't super picky about anything we wanted for the day and they did an awesome job getting so many wonderful shots. They also have an amazing magazine they created to help you plan - and since I (the bride) didn't have a personal attendant it was really important for me to have everything laid out for the day and I most certainly wouldn't have done it as well without them! They are reasonably priced and produce such high quality work. ALSO we got our pictures back in less than 4 weeks - which is amazing because you get so antsy to get those back after your wedding day - I mean, can't you just relive your day everyday until the end of time?? Well, I guess the answer is yes if pick this amazing pair of photographers! They do provide you with a 90 day window to get your photos back to you, so I suppose not everyone can expect this, but it was a GREAT surprise for us!! The flash drive you get with your pics is amazing/adorable - which was yet another way they showed us how thoughtful they are and that they truly care about the work they are doing and the role they play in one of the biggest/most important days of a couple's life. You'll be so happy/satisfied/ecstatic (any other positive words you can associate with the way you can feel about your wedding pics) if you pick them - and you should!

before our wedding. They also looked at all of the places we were going to be before the wedding which was amazing of them! When our big day finally rolled around they made it so everything went smoothly. We were a little nervous about how the weather would be especially with a winter wedding, but they used the beautiful fog from that day and we could not be happier. The entire day they did everything they could to make sure we were happy and captured so many beautiful moments! Looking back through our pictures lets us relive our special day over and over! We would recommend Chris and Kristy to anyone looking for an outstanding photographer! There are not words for how grateful we are to have had them on our big day! Thank you so much Chris and Kristy you are by far the best!!

sional and organized. We planned from out of town, but they were flexible and met us when we could visit. On our wedding day, they were friendly and efficient ALL day (and it was a long day!). We got married on NYE in Minneapolis, so it was a LITTLE cold outside, but they made it work and took gorgeous photos outside in the snow. We had friends and family comment about how excellent Chris and Kristy were in that they seemed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time (taking photos but not interrupting the moment). They captured not only beautiful portraits but also moments of laughter and our personality as a couple, as well as our friends and family. The final product--our wedding photos--we are absolutely THRILLED with them. Would it be too much to get them ALL printed? But seriously, we highly recommend Chris and Kristy and plan to recommend them to everyone we know, so do not wait or hesitate--book them!

me candid shots which is exactly what we were looking for. They were super easy to work with and flexible when we had a few schedule changes throughout the day which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend them, they are AWESOME!

that they were prepared. Overall they were incredibly professional and friendly, and their pricing was very reasonable. Our photos were ready very quickly (a few weeks), and they captured everything I wanted about our day in the best light.

. My family loved having them as our photographers! One of the easiest decisions we made by far!!! everything was so beautiful!

we met them for the first time. My family and wedding party LOVED them on the day of the event -- and we obviously did too! They made everything low stress and were so relaxed. We were sad to see them go at the end of the night! They were also amazing after the wedding in that our families were hoping to use our wedding photos as Christmas cards and they rushed to get them done for us! They even managed to have all the children (toddlers, in fact!) smiling and looking at the camera in the photos. I would recommend Chris and Kristy to anyone and am very excited for them to be the photographers for my sister's New Year's Eve wedding this year! Oh, and how could I fail to mention - their prices were SUPER reasonable. I believe I forgot about how amazing their prices were compared to the competition because their quality was unforgettable. We had a noon wedding, so had a long shoot for them to tackle. Chris and Kristy are top notch, quality people and photographers, and were magically within our budget.

and went smoothly with them. We felt so lucky to have found them and are loving the way our pictures look!

ter looking through too many online albums and were starting to feel that many other photographers had the same wedding albums. Chris & Kristy's photos stood out as creative and unique, and their reviews made us feel comfortable enough to reach out to them. On the wedding day they were super easy to work, very accommodating, paid attention to all the details and made sure that we got a variety of pictures to treasure. From our first phone call onwards, we felt that they were really genuine and easy going. Our first impression held up and we had a wonderful experience with them! We feel honoured to have been their 100th wedding and will be asking them to take our Journey photographs in the future! -J&Y

s and Kristy are excellent communicators, prepared, professional, friendly, fun, and talented. They were very prompt in responding to any questions we had leading up to the wedding day, and they had ideas of places to take photos at our venue before we went out and took them. One of our favorite parts about having Chris and Kristy is that they BOTH were there to take pictures! They are very talented and captured so many special moments/things in photos that we wouldn’t have even thought of. They made everyone involved in our photos feel very comfortable! We are so happy with our wedding photos! We highly recommend Chris and Kristy as your wedding photographers!

weddings this year alone and did things that we have never seen. Not only that, they stayed later than contracted because they wanted to get a couple more shots. We absolutely loved them! And for all of that, their prices were amazing. We definitely got the better end of that deal. Money well spent!

es smoothly and working with them was truly awesome! Our wedding party made several comments about how great they were and we appreciated their helpful tips to get the best shots. We absolutely love our photos and would highly recommend Chris and Kristy!

ve already recommended them to all of our family and friends and will definitely use them again in the future!

eautifully! We would highly recommend them to anyone searching for excellent wedding photography!

hly recommend them to any couple, as I cannot say enough at how excellent these two are to work with!

calm and relaxing to be with, they knew exactly what the schedule was, so my husband and I just enjoyed the time together, posing and being photographed! They were superb in every way! We can't wait for our future baby and family sessions with them!

motion of the day that you can't pose or predict. Another item that we loved was their ability to work as a team. They have a process and a flow - they were on the same page the entire time, never talking over one another and really making it a good time and about the couple. My husband is not a camera person, but he was so relaxed with them. That was huge to us! They are incredible at honoring your wishes for the day and getting the pictures you want. They sit down and talk with you about the day, as well as prompt email or phone conversations when needed! Very flexible and easy going, yet professional. We will recommend them 100%. I feel like out of all the things you spend money on for your wedding, a great photographer(s) is a must. Chris and Kristy are top notch and we could not be more pleased with our photos or the experience from start to finish. Thank you so much you guys!

clearly came through in their photographs of us. Their technique of getting to know their clients is absolutely impeccable. Each photo we look at makes us grin with happiness, laughter, or sheer excitement of the day that was perfectly captured. Our wedding day was flawless and I contribute that to Kristy and Chris. They made sure we looked great at all times, had time to get all the photos in that we wanted, as well as getting us to where we needed to go on time. (Which I’m not even sure is their job so THANK YOU guys!) Their photographic style was remarkable! We received a wide variety of different photo shots, but the candid shots that they spoke to us about on day one did not disappoint! They built this separate warm natural timeline that would have been greatly missed. That in particular added a flair that you can’t get anywhere else. Our wedding party was a good size and to go through each photo and not find one person looking a different way or doing something odd is unthinkable! If you want the best, choose Chris and Kristy. They are two of the most down to earth people that you will ever meet and together make an extraordinary team. I can assure you they will not disappoint, they will only exceed even the highest of expectations you may have. Thank you both so much for giving us beautiful memories of our Wedding Day. We will cherish them forever! – Best, Cindy & Nick

edding day the best day of our lives. The best part is they captured all the amazing memories so we can relive it each and every day! We trusted them to take care of the photography part of the day and I am so glad we did! They DO NOT disappoint. It was a blessing to have worked with them and a honor to have them capture our wedding day. If you have a moment you want to cherish forever, go with Chris and Kristy Photography!

em because it allowed them to bounce ideas off each other but also capture the candid photos when the other one is getting set up. They made the wedding day so much less stressful because they were so well prepared and gave such good direction. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice to use Chris and Kristy!

s to ensure they were capturing what we wanted. They are super personable! Before your wedding, they take the time to scope out the venue and places around the venue to take pictures which shows their true commitment! On the actual day of the wedding, we felt so at ease with them. They are great communicators, working in tandem and knowing where to be at the right time. We had a tight timeline and they stuck to it and actually kept us ahead of schedule. They took charge of the whole process (which is what we wanted) and made the day flow! We waited anxiously for the pictures and had high expectations and we were not disappointed! They captured every moment we wanted and then some; their passion and vision really stuck out! They go above and beyond in their delivery! I highly recommend Kristy and Chris for your wedding photography – best decision we made!

pictures turned out fantastic and exceeded our expectations!! We look forward to being able to reflect on all of our wedding photos in years to come to remember this special day. We highly recommend working with Chris and Kristy, as we will continue to use them for any future photography needs.

rough the schedule and plan for what kinds of pictures we wanted for our wedding. We did photos before the ceremony, and Chris and Kristy really set the tone for our special day. They made it fun, but were also incredibly organized and kept things going so we stayed on schedule. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys! -Ana & Nate

ur heads and bouquets, so that we looked the best in each photo. The photos we got are so beautiful I started crying to see all of my friends and family.

to work with, they know exactly what they are doing and our photos turned out AMAZING! We couldn't be more happy that Chris and Kristy were our photographers! I can't wait until our next session with them!!!

h the results! Chris and Kristy are an amazing team and they're both so talented. They met with us prior to the day to make sure they knew what we wanted and expected and were so open to ideas and feedback. They are both such kind individuals and were so much fun to have with us on the best day of our lives! Although our contract stated that they needed to get the wedding photos to us within 90 days, we got them back in less than 40!! And they are spectacular! We decided that we wanted to cut back on other areas of the budget to spend more on photography and Chris and Kristy are worth every penny! The wedding photos are the only thing you have to really remember the day. The laughter, smiles, tears, and the pure joy were captured so perfectly by Journey Photography! I would (and do) recommend them to everyone I know who wants lasting, high-quality wedding photos!

tips for making the day's timeline go smoothly. Very professional and amazing images ! Highly recommend! Alyssa and Lucas

ere were two pieces to the wedding I knew would be timeless, my dress and the photos, so we knew we wanted to splurge a little in these areas. As we hunted around for photographers, Chris and Kristy Photography stood MILES above the rest of what we were seeing. If we chose them, we KNEW we wouldn’t have to worry about how the photos turned out…this was the most important piece of how we made our decision. You only get one try at your wedding photographers…and as anyone who has planned a wedding knows, the less stress and worry the better! Every shot on all their portfolio pieces won us over more and more until we decided YES! I want our wedding photos to be amazing and to not worry about it!! That was definitely true! Not only are they extremely professional, timely and FANTASTIC to work with, but they also go above and beyond with their helpfulness during planning, and willingness to try new poses and shot ideas we had. My husband and I were so happy with our photos…every shot was a “WOW…” They are also fantastic with children…we had two flower girls ages 5 and less than 2-years-old and they were able to engage them into the shoot and have fun with it. Their experience with kids photography is a HUGE PLUS for all wedding photography. We loved our time with them and would recommend them to anyone looking—even if they are out of your price range. YOU WON’T REGRET IT! :D

unication through out the planning process and are both so kind. Our photos turned out to be breath taking and provide a wonderful reminder of our love and our wedding day. In all of our communications and meetings they brought a positive energy with a commitment to our happiness. Additionally, they brought a fresh and unique perspective that was catered to us as a couple.

is and Kristy felt like good friends right from the start of the day. They had a meeting with us to make sure we got all of our questions answered and then sent us a handbook - complete with a layout for timing pictures. Brides they even send you a little present the week of the wedding! Such a sweet surprise. We were so surprised to receive our photos back three and a half weeks after our wedding. Chris and Kristy were amazing to work with and my husband and I would highly recommend them!

ment we met Kristy and Chris, we knew we made the right choice. They work incredibly well together and have a knack for capturing unique shots that you might not otherwise think of. Their photos are pure and beautiful with just the right amount of editing. We cannot have asked for a better team to capture our special day! EVERYONE raves over our photos whenever they see them. :)

knew exactly what they were doing! They took so many amazing photos and captured all of the important moments! In preparation for the big day they answered all of my questions in depth (there must have been hundreds of emails and texts back and forth) and went through the itinerary step by step to ensure they would get everything right! They even went to all the locations ahead of time to figure out where the best photos could be captured and also so they would know the lay of the land and how to get there (so they wouldn't get lost). My husband and I will definitely be coming back in the future for newborn and family photos!

s. Thank you so very much!

ou feel relaxed, and we barely even noticed them at our wedding! (Which was great because we didn't feel like we were being watched by strangers during intimate moments). And even though we barely noticed them, they captured the most AMAZING pictures!!! They are great at getting both posed and candid photos that show so much emotion. We highly recommend Journey Photography and will definitely be using them again in the future once our family grows!

axed. I would recommend them to anyone who wants professional pictures taken.
