I purchased my wedding gown at Chiyo’s Bridal and Tux and my bridesmaids did as well. I had a great experience shopping for my dress and the saleswoman was so helpful allowing me ...
to try on a least 9 dresses until I found the perfect one! She was not at all pushy and gave me a lot of space to choose what I wanted and also offered suggestions once she understood what I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable about the inventory and told me that the price on the Alfred Angelo dress I finally chose was going up in the next week so I should buy it soon. The dress came in in a timely manner and I had no issues with it.
My bridesmaids bought their dresses at Chiyo’s and received a discount because I bought my wedding dress there too. One of my bridesmaids had an issue with the size of her dress. She knew what size she wanted to purchase but the saleswoman convinced her to purchase a bigger size. She explained that the dress cannot be exchanged once ordered and her “ribs will not shrink by the time the wedding comes.” When the dress came in it was definitely too big and the size that my bridesmaid was going to order would have been perfect. She purchased alterations for the dress at Chiyos and was not impressed with the work. The zipper was off somehow.
Chiyos has a fantastic selection of dresses, however if your dress size usually veers off the sizing charts, make sure you stick to your guns and don’t let them order a dress that you know will not fit you. I would also recommend that you go somewhere else for alterations if you need them for a wedding dress. Something so important should not be left to chance between mediocre and superior work.
Chiyo's was fantastic until the very end. They were great when I bought the dress and veil and the bridesmaid dresses. They were very nice and helpful for all of my fittings as wel...
l. The problems we had were they fought with one of my bridesmaids on what size her dress should be and they ordered the bigger size even though she told them not to and it was huge on her. Thankfully she was able to have it altered down but that cost her a lot of money. Then the thing that was the worst that on my wedding day my dress was 2 sizes too big. I had tried it on 6 days before and it fit like a glove. They were going to press it and do little fixes and it was huge. I was told I had to have lost water weight which is not possible as I am barely 100 pounds and don't have water weight to lose. We were able to tape it to me (thankfully the style of the dress allowed this to happen). I absolutely loved Chiyos until the end.
We got my wedding dress and the five bridesmaid dresses here. We had great service about 95% of the time. I took my dress in for alterations a month before the wedding as they requ...
ested, and when I went back in two weeks later, it hadn't been worked on. Luckily, the only alterations I needed were a halter strap added and a bustle, so these were added in half an hour. At the wedding, the bustle broke after the first three dances, and the strap kept coming undone. Other than that, I have no complaints about the store. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.
I bought my dress at Chiyo's Bridal. They didn't have a lot of dresses that met my style but they had the one I was looking for. The owner of the store was very nice to work with. ...
She did the alterations quickly and accurate.
LOVED, LOVED this shop! the owner was so helpful and they had so many options
Everything at Chyio's was fantastic. I found the dress of my dreams and am forever a fan of Alfred Angelo! A few hiccups here and there but in the end it all worked out!
I purchased an off the rack discontinued dress from Chiyo's. They had a good selection of styles and prices. It wasn't a top notch store with the glam and glitz but they were frien...

I used this store to order my bridesmaids dresses, I called a month before they should be delivered to confirm the date and they NEVER places the order. They refused to refund my b...
ridesmaid's deposits or talk to any of us. We have now had to file fraud reports with our banks and the police! DON'T USE THESE CRAZY LADIES!!!
If you want to skip the fancy bridal shops and get a dress for less, this place works well. The main problem I had was that the bustles on my dress did not hold up the dress. They ...
kept coming out even though I paid $15 per bustle and got 7 of them! Other than that the ladies are very nice and they even remembered who I was!
I had a great experience choosing my dress at Chiyos. They were also very flexible and timely when it came to making alterations. Lisa's (owner) skill and expertise helped make my ...
dress fit me like a glove. Reasonable prices and friendly service!
This is a wonderful little shop with a great group of ladies running it. I ordered our Alfred Angelo bridesmaids dresses here and also had my wedding gown hem and bustle done by Li...
sa. They were so helpful in arranging to ship the dresses to my 3 out of town bridesmaids, and did a perfect job on my gown hem and bustle. Lisa and Becky were helpful getting me in and out of the dress and making recommendations on how to do the bustle. Becky helped me find the best rehearsal dinner dress there on the clearance rack, too. And when my out of town mother-in-law needed a quick hem on her outfit, they were able to get it done for her in the nick of time. I definitely recommend Chiyo's to other brides, bridesmaids, moms and even for special occasion wear.
I tried on wedding dresses at Chiyo's. They were a bit pricey, but the staff was very friendly and held a dress for me for a good amount of time while I brought in friends and fam...
ily to see the dress. I can't say enough nice things about the staff.
I didn't end up buying my dress from them because it was just too expensive, and alterations were very high there as well. But if you want great service, try them!
I found my wedding dress at Chiyos for half of the price that I saw it for at another bridal boutique! All of their prices were great. The alterations were a little spendy, but i...
t was worth it to me to have my dress fit perfectly. They also charged extra to have the dress pressed. Overall, I found the dress I loved, and it looked beautiful on me!
Lisa (the owner/seamstress) is VERY nice to work with! Her staff is too! Because I had a large wedding party (8 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl) I was given a 20% discount on the bri...
dal party dresses since I had gotten my dress there too! They had a great selection and were glad to call other stores in the Denver area to see if they had styles I had requested that Chiyo's didn't have on hand. Overall I was happy with my experience. The only mistake they made was losing a few of my bridesmaid's measurements early in the spring (but we had plenty of time to recover the measurements and order dresses).
This dress store is a small store, but was perfect because I didnt feel rushed to only have a two hour appt. time. The dress i ordered i wanted altered significantly and another s...
hop i went to with the same dress said they couldnt do it. Chiyos said no problem and they altered it to exactly how i wanted. It seemed like they really cared about what i wanted and i wasnt just another appointment. The seamstress was fabulous too!!
i went to sevearl other bridal shops and about a hundredish dresses before i found the perfect dress. I fell in love with it when i put it on. The customer service was wonderfull...
and they were very nice when i wanted to go try on my dress. But....the alterations were not good. I am large busted and they could not make the dress to fit and by the time i got it back it was to late to take it someplace else. if i were to do it again...i would buy my dress here but have it altered elseware.
My bridesmaids got their dresses from Chiyo's. They have great prices and a great selection, but they're just not professional. I left a message on their voicemail and never receiv...
ed a call back. When I went to the store and told them I had left a message, their attitude was lackadaisical and apparently no one checks their voicemails or returns phone calls. I called again around the time the bridesmaid dresses were supposed to be coming in to see if they were there yet, and was asked when they were ordered, then told "another week or so." They didn't even check because I received a phone call later the same day telling me the dresses were in. While my husband (fiance at the time) and I were in the store looking at tuxedo rental choices, we had sales girls yelling over us the entire 25 minutes we were there. The woman that "helped" us was pretty rude and ticked me off. We ended up not ordering tuxedos from them because I didn't want to have to deal with them anymore since they were so unprofessional. Courtney is a younger girl that works there, and she was the only helpful person we encountered that worked there and was very friendly and helpful. I would ask for her if you decide to check this place out!
This boutique is wonderful! They have tons of dresses and no appointment necessary! They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect!
We greatly enjoyed working with Lisa, the owner, and her employees throughout preparing for the Wedding! Not only were they so kind and friendly to work with, but they had my Drea...
m Wedding Dress that was completely within my budget! All 6 of my Bridesmaids got their dresses from here, each with a different style, and we did not have a single glich come up! In love with this shop!
I purchased my dress as well as bridesmaids dresses from Chiyo's. Everything came in as promised and the alterations were done on time. I liked that the shop was small, and accomid...
